C: someone gave me tickets to the KRY concert in Kobe!

DH (Donghae): 진짜? 누구? (Really? Who?)

C: I’m not sure, I just saw an envelope in my apartment and it had my name on it

DH: have fun in Kobe ^^

C: but…it’s the last day…Christmas eve

DH: oh…

Both of them were sad all of a sudden. They were going to spend Christmas Eve apart. Donghae knew it was selfish if he told her to stay but she was a big fan and it was a chance of a lifetime.

DH: go to the concert and we can spend Christmas day together^^

C: are you sure? But I want to be with you ㅠㅠ

DH: so do I but it’s not every day you get free tickets to a concert

C: maybe I won’t go; I don’t have enough money for a plane ticket.

Suddenly, another white envelope was shoved under her door and she picked it up and was surprised to see a plane ticket to Japan. Her eyes grew big as she opened the door, hoping to see who gave the envelope but unfortunately she didn’t see anyone.

DH: 여보세요 (hello)? Are you still there?

C: 네 오빠 (yes oppa)

DH: what is it? You sound different

C: someone just gave me a plane ticket to Japan

DH: 누구 (who)?

C: 몰라요 (I don’t know), the envelope just slid under the door

DH: wow that’s weird. But see? Now you can go to Japan^^ don’t worry about me, I’ll be here waiting for you~

After a few more minutes of talking, they had to end it because Donghae was at SM doing a few rehearsals for their performance for the year-end broadcasts. With his back against the full length mirror, he sighed. He was sad that she was going to be in Japan for Christmas Eve. He didn’t really celebrate Christmas as happily as he used to since his father but hearing C talk about it so much, he wanted to spend it with her.

D: what’s that?

D just came home from school and she saw C looking at the plane and concert tickets. There was still an air of awkwardness between them. C didn’t say anything as she set down the tickets and went into the bedroom.

D watched her friend and quietly picked up the tickets. She was sad that her friend still was mad at her but she smiled a bit when she saw the tickets because it meant that Kyuhyun actually listened to her. She took out her phone and texted him right away.

D219: good you followed my advice

GaemGyu: shut up. I just had no other choice

D219: yeah the other choice was let her date Donghae as you pity yourself

GaemGyu: why do you care so much? Don’t you want your friend to be with her bias?

D219: because you’re my bias and I just want to see you happy

There were 2 tickets and the only person C knew would go with her was D but this stupid fight has created a big gap between them so she didn’t know how to approach the younger one. She swallowed her pride and went into the living room where D was.

C: so…I got these tickets and…no one else is gonna use them so you can have them

D stood up and took the tickets C was holding. She looked at them and her eyes widened. It was the tickets to KRY concert in Kobe. She looked back at her friend.

D: you’re giving me both?

C: yeah, you and Aiden could use them

D: you’re giving up VIP tickets to a KRY concert? Why?

C: because it’s on Christmas Eve and it’s going to be my first Christmas in Korea and I want to spend it with Donghae oppa

D: you’re kidding right? These are golden tickets! Besides you can be with him when you get back

C: it’s okay, have fun with Aiden in Japan

D: he’s going back to his country for winter vacation and besides he doesn't like Super Junior

C: well if he likes you then he’ll learn to like them

D was tempted but she snapped out of her short fantasy and went back to the goal at hand, which was to get her friend ad Kyu together. She quickly handed one ticket to C.

D: no. you take the other one. We promised to split things 50/50 and this is something you deserve. You've been working hard and you need this.

C: but Donghae oppa---

D: he’ll still be here when you get back

C couldn't help but quickly hug her friend. The 2 girls were finally friends again and now they were going to Japan to a KRY concert, something they could only have dreamed of when they were still back home in their countries.

Donghae was playing around with Eunhyuk in the SM practice room. They just finished their rehearsals and now they were just relaxing.

DH (Donghae): what do you think I should get her?

EH (Eunhyuk): 누구 (who)?

DH: C-ssi, I want to get something nice for Christmas

EH: well it depends, where in the relationship are you guys already?

DH: what do you mean?

EH: “getting to know you”, “getting serious”, “let’s get married”…

DH: we just started going out and I can tell she’s still nervous around me

EH: then just get something sweet and generic like an autographed album or something

DH: she’s an ELF; of course she has that already

EH: then…hhhmmm…what does she like? I mean, does she have any hobbies?

DH: well, she likes dancing and ---

EH: she dances??

DH: I’ve never seen her dance because she wouldn't show me the audition video she sent to SM 2 years ago

EH: it’s probably in the storage room somewhere, do you want to go look for it? *raises eyebrows*

DH: I’m not going to pry into her personal stuff!

EH: it’s not personal, probably half of SM has seen it by now!

DH: no! She said no so I won’t push it

EH: you really are a good man Lee Donghae

DH: and you are an evil monkey!

EH: an evil monkey who loves you~ ㅋㅋㅋㅋ just get her a bracelet or something , girls love jewelry

DH: is that what you got 지은 (Jieun/IU)?

EH: hey. That’s below the belt

DH: we’re best friends and I’m still mad that I didn’t know about it by the way

EH: no one knew. We were just getting to know each other but that stupid thing happened so we had to back up a bit

DH: you’re still seeing her?

EH: we’re just starting to know each other some more

DH: wanna go shopping for Christmas gifts together?

The older one just gave him a gummy smile which of course he knew what it meant already.
