“Seobang-ah~” Jessica’s angelic voice boomed inside the Kwon residence.

“Neh~?” Yuri answered from inside her room.

“Aigooo~ I can’t believe this” Mr. Kwon mumbles as he stood up. “Jessica take a sit. I’ll just get my daughter”

“Appa, it’s okay. I’m not in a hurry” Jessica smiles, trying to stop the man from dragging her girlfriend from her room to the living room.

“Let him Jessica” Mrs. Kwon walked out from the kitchen carrying a tray of refreshments. “And besides, it’s not like Yuri to be late and—”

“And the man in the relationship should be the one waiting not the girl” Hyukjun completed his mother’s sentence as he popped out from his room. “By the way you look stunning Jessica”

“Yah oppa are you flirting with my girlfriend?!” Yuri yelled from her room. “Ouch! Appa!”

“Aish! Stop yelling Kwon Yuri and get down now!” they all heard Mr. Kwon’s voice followed by footsteps.

Yuri’s breathe hitched as soon as she saw her girlfriend. She can’t believe that this goddess in front of her belongs to her and only her. Whilst for Jessica, the feeling is mutual. She can’t believe that this handsome girl belongs to her and only her.

*BANG*

The hospital door bangs wide open. The stretcher where Yuri is lying was being pushed to by paramedics whilst Jessica was on the side holding onto Yuri’s hand. Yuri was trying her hard not to fall asleep because she feared that once she closed her eyes it will never open again.

“Sica” Yuri weakly called.

There was an oxygen mask on her face making it hard for her to speak. Her fever hasn’t gone down one bit. She thinks her fever is so high that she’s in a delirious state.

“Hang in there Yul” Jessica said tears never stop flowing out of her eyes.

“Sorry miss but I can’t allow you to enter” one nurse stopped Jessica from going inside the room. Jessica obediently stopped and just waited outside. Couple of minutes later, SooSun couple arrived at the hospital, then Hyukjun arrived and finally Yuri’s parents.

They’ve been waiting for almost half an hour now when the doctor walked out of the room. He took out his mask. “Ms. Kwon’s parents?”

“We’re here” Mr. Kwon spoke as he left Mrs. Kwon to just sit there. “How is she?”

“She’s fine now. She just needs a little rest. We’ve manage to get her fever down a little bit but she’s still under observation because we suspect that she got swine flu virus”

“We understand doctor” Mr. Kwon shake hands with the doctor before the doctor finally left.

“Sica?”

“Hm?”

“What are you thinking?” Yuri asked as she focuses her attention on the road.

“You” Jessica answered as she intertwines her hands with Yuri.

Yuri tried to stop her lips from smiling widely but as always it’s not working. She was smiling like an idiot and Jessica can’t help but smile at the sight of her grinning seobang. There was a moment of comfortable silence between them. Yuri focuses on driving whilst Jessica kept playing with their intertwined hands. Then Yuri finally decided to break the silence.

“Baby?”

“Hm?” Jessica answers lazily, her eyes still on their glued hands.

“Remember that day?”

“What day?” Jessica teased.

“That day when I waited for you under the rain and when you saw me I ended up collapsing?”

Jessica chuckled. “What about it?”

“What did you feel when you saw me?”

“Hmmm…” Jessica taps her chin using her free hand. “It was my worst nightmare”

Yuri smiles. “And why is that?”

“Seeing you all weakly and skinny made me wish I was in your shoes. Don’t get me wrong it was fine seeing you especially after you’ve been MIA because Donghae is always with me”
