Yuri was on the rooftop, lying on the cold cement. The rooftop is her secret hideout now. No one knows that she was there not even her best buddy, Taeyeon.  She always goes there whenever she doesn’t feel like going to class. Her grades dramatically dropped. When they were in their junior years even if she doesn’t attends her class she can still aced the exams but now she doesn’t attend class and she fails all her exams. The reason? She doesn’t want to see Jessica as much as possible but like air, it was inevitable for Yuri to not see Jessica especially when her heart screams for the blonde girl.

Yuri covered her eyes using her arm. Yuri started liking the peace and alone time. The advantage of being alone is that she has all the time to reflect on her action but the disadvantage it also gives her all the time to think about one particular girl.

“Still feeling sorry for yourself?” a husky voice said.

“You really love to pop out of nowhere don’t you? What exactly is your role here cous?” Yuri asked without looking at Yoobin.

“Well…I think I’m your guardian angel…” Yoobin took a sit besides Yuri. She stretched her feet and leaned back using her arms for support.

“Then what words of wisdom you have for me today, my guardian angel?” Yuri asked mockingly. Yoobin just chuckled and lay down and intertwined her hands above her stomach.

“I have nothing Yul…I know you’re stubborn and you will never take my words seriously”

Yuri uncovered her eyes and stared at the sky. “Does being in love really felt like this? My heart is broken and I don’t know how to pick up the tiny pieces”

“Yul…that’s just an obstacle being laid in front of you, to test you if you are capable of loving and being loved back”

“She’s the first girl whom captured my heart” Yuri said softly.

“I know that…and you’re the first who captured hers”

Yuri looked at Yoobin quizzically. Yoobin just smirked and winked at her cousin before leaving Yuri dumbfounded. “What will that suppose to mean?! Yah! Yoobin!”
