Last chapter was so sad and uneventful I decided to just go ahead and update again. ^^

A week later I was wheeling my brother out of the hospital.

“Stupid wheelchair,” I heard him grumble as I pushed him along. I laughed. He was feeling better alright. I was in an extremly good mood right now since he was feeling so much better. “Hey! Nina! Push faster! Let’s make this fun!” He yelled over his shoulder excitedly as I entered the parking lot. I smacked the top of his head lightly,

“I will do no such thing! I’m not going to be the one responsible for you having to re-enter the hospital.” I could tell that he was pouting and I giggled.

Yeah, he was definaltly feeling better.

We got home and I helped him inside the house. He didn’t really need the wheelchair. There was nothing wrong with his legs; it was just a hospital requirement that patients leave in a wheelchair. He staggered inside and I helped him up to his room. He sat down on his bed and groaned. I smiled sadly at him,

“Do you want anything?” He shook his head and laid down, staring at the ceiling.

“I know it sounds crazy, but I’m exhausted.” I smiled,

“It’s fine. You’re still weak. Your body needs to recover. So, go ahead and sleep. I’ll be downstairs if you need me.” I wiped the hair back from his forehead and left his room, closing the door behind me.

About an hour later my phone rang and I looked at the ID: Yi Xing. I smiled; I hadn’t been able to talk to him much in the past few days, what with all of the excitement of my brother and his intense practices. Together with the time difference, it made contact rather difficult. Kinda rough start to a long distance relationship I suppose. But, it should get better now that Julian has been discharged. Honestly, I hadn’t even gotten to see any of my friends here yet. All I’d seen was my family and the inside of the hospital. That’s it. But I didn’t mind. I had a lot of catching up to do with them, and I would have felt guilty if I was anywhere other that with my brother.

“Hello?” I answered.

“Nina!” He called. I laughed,

“Lay!” I copied him.

“You’re in a good mood.” He noted. I giggled,

“Yeah, I am. I just brought my brother home. He’s feeling a lot better and it’s making me really happy.” He chuckled,

“That’s good. I’m really glad to hear that.” I heard a comotion on the other line. In the distance I heard someone yell,

“Jiejie!” Tao. I laughed. They must have realized that Lay was talking to me. Then I heard Kris yelling too,

“No! Tao! Let him talk to his girlfriend! Stop.” I heard Lay laughing and a small whine from Tao,

“Sorry. Tao got excited…” Lay explained. I laughed and nodded,

“I can tell.” I sighed. I missed those boys so much already. We talked for awhile about nothing much in particular. It felt so good to be able to relax and talk to him. Suddenly I heard a noise on the stairs and looked up to see my brother half way down them.

“Hey! What do you think you’re doing!?” I yelled at him and rushed up to help him.

“I’ve got it.” He said calmly.

“You just got out of the hospital. I don’t care if you THINK you’ve got it, you better get me next time you decide to pull something like that!” He just shook his head with a smile as he lowered himself onto the couch. I huffed and went back to the phone, “Sorry Yi Xing. My brother decided to be stupid and go down the stairs.” He chuckled and I rolled my eyes. Guys. He probably would’ve done the same. No, I knew he would. I’d seen him do some similarly stupid things after hurting his back or something. These pabos.

They’re lucky I love them.

We talked for a few more minutes before he was forced to hang up and finish getting ready for their schedule.

“Sorry, Nina. Wo ai ni.” I smiled,

“Wo ai ni.” I put up my phone and sighed, staring at the T.V. show that my brother was watching. He turned to look at me,

“So who do you love?” He asked me suspiciously. I froze. Shoot. That’s like the only thing in Chinese that he understands. I laughed and he looked at me strangly. Then he figured it out, “Oh my gosh. You have a boyfriend! You have a boyfriend and you didn’t tell your dear, dear brother?!” He said in mock shock. I laughed and nodded. “Well. I’m insulted.” He said and turned back to the T.V. I laughed and shook my head,

“If it makes you feel any better, I haven’t told anyone yet. You’re the first to know here.” He looked back at me,

“Really?! Oh… Well… I guess that helps.” He grinned at me, “But why haven’t you told anyone?” he asked me. I sighed,

“Well, we’ve all been so preoccupied with you and being in the hospital, it hasn’t come up. I haven’t really had a good time to talk about it.” He nodded. “But, keep it quiet for now. I’ll tell them in my own time.” He smirked at me,

“Oh, we’ll see.” I rolled my eyes and resisted the urge to smack him.
It felt good to be back.

At diner that night we were all talking about nothing in particular, when my brother suddenly remembered something,  

“Nina’s got a boyfriend!” He tattled on me like a five year old. Thanks bro. I rolled my eyes and stuck my tongue out at him. He returned the gesture and I looked back at my parents, who were watching me intently,

“Really?” My mom asked. I nodded slowly, unsure of how they were going to react to this. My mom smiled, “That’s great!” She exclaimed. I smiled and sighed. But then I looked over at my dad and saw that he wasn’t quite as sure. Always so hard to please him when it came to me and guys.

“What’s this boy like?” he asked and I laughed,

“His name’s Yi Xing, but he goes by Lay a lot of the time,” My brother almost spit out his drink as I said this,

“Lay? Like the chips? What the heck?!” He laughed and I gave him a look.

“Yes. Lay.” But I honetsly couldn’t help but smile a bit too. It was a pretty weird stage name…

“He’s from Changsha in Hunan Province, China. He likes to dance. A lot. Umm… oh… and he’s uh… he’s kinda famous…” They all stared at me like I was crazy,

 “What exactly HAVE you been doing while gone?” I laughed. While I was gone no one really knew what I was doing, especially the most recent occurances with SM. None of my friends or family knew about my job as EXO’s translator.

Untill now.

“Okay, so… You know SM Entertainment? Super Junior’s company?” My mom nodded, well aware of all of my favorite Kpop group. “Well, they have a new group called EXO. There are two sub units: EXO K for Korea and EXO M for China. I met EXO M while traveling in China and they asked me to work as a translator for them…” My mom stared at me,

“THIS is what you’ve been doing and you never told me?!?! Have you met Super Junior?” I laughed at my mom,

 “No mom. I’m afraid I haven’t. I’ve met f(x) though. We’re friends.” My mom’s eyes widened. She thought they were the cutest thing. She quickly shook her head, coming back to her senses.

“Okay… Well what does this have to do with this Yi…” My dad struggled with his name and I laughed,

“Yi Xing. Or Lay. That’s technicly his stage name. I call him both… Um, well… Yi Xing is a member of EXO M.” They all once again stared at me like I was crazy. After a moment of silence my mom finally gathered herself and cleared ,

“Well… You’ll have to show me some of these videos now so I know who this boyfriend of yours is.” I laughed and hugged my mom.

“Me too.” My dad said. I nodded and laughed. I’ll have to find one with uh… decent dance moves…  *cough*ifyouknowwhatImean*cough* :/
