Wow. So, I thought I had updated last night, but apparently I left it hidden this whole time... -_-

Ava POV

Kai led me into the skating rink. I walked cautiously, totally nervous about all of this. I was nervous enough on solid ground, but put me on ice and it was just a disaster waiting to happen. We entered and Kai paid for the skates. We sat down on a bench and he started pulling off his shoes and lacing up his skates. I just stared at the skates next to me.

“Aren’t you going to put them on?” he asked. I jerked back to attention and looked at him,

“Oh... Yeah…” I laughed awkwardly and picked one up, toeing off my shoe quickly. I got them both on and tied them up.

“Are they tight? They need to be tight or you might fall and hurt yourself.” I just stared at him. He chuckled slightly and knelt before me, “Here,” He pulled at the shoe and shook his head before taking out my knot. I watched as he tied them both back up, significantly tighter this time. He finished and smiled up at me. I blushed and looked away quickly. He rose slowly before sticking out his hand,

“Are you ready?” I stared at his hand, then back up at his face before looking back at his hand. I sat there, fiddling with my fingers for a moment before I heard him chuckle slightly. He reached down with both of his hands and took mine, pulling me up. I squeaked slightly as I was pulled upright, dangerously close to him. I immediately stiffened and leaned away, wide-eyed. Kai just shook his head and chuckled again. “Come on.” He dropped one of my hands, but kept a tight hold on the other. I supposed I could have pulled away if I had wanted to, but…. I mean, no! Stop, Ava! Stop… thinking. I shook my head to clear it and contented myself with thinking that I simply didn’t pull away because I didn’t want to hurt his feelings. I mean, ew, I didn’t want to hold his hand…. Right? Gosh, stop thinking Ava! Then I started getting paranoid thinking that my hand was all gross and weird and that he was now just being polite and not dropping it like I was disgusting and leaving me and I was slowly going crazy as he led me to the edge of the skate rink.

“Ava,” I heard distantly as I stared down at our interlocked hands, my thoughts racing. “Earth to Ava!~” A voice sang in my ear. I shook my head and looked towards the voice, only to see Kai severly close to my face. I jumped back in shock and he smiled, “Sorry. You were gone. What were you thinking about?” He tipped his head in curiousity. I gulped and let my eyes travel back to our hands quickly before averting my gaze altogether. I could have sworn I saw him smirk slightly from the corner of my eyes, but surely not… Okay. He totally was.

“We’re here.” We were at the edge of the rink and I stared at the ice with a new found apall. I was supposed to skate on this?! With Kai standing next to me?! I squeaked slightly withought meaning to and Kai laughed, “Wow, you really don’t know how to skate?” He asked softly.

“I- It’s not that… exactly… I mean… I don’t, but… I mean…” I wanted to facepalm at the jumble of words that I let spill from my mouth.  

“It’s all right. I told you I won’t let you fall. I’ll help you.” I looked up into his eyes and saw the sincerity in them. It caused me to stumble slightly, but Kai reached out to help me, “See. Don’t worry.” I nodded, slightly hypnotized by his eyes. He smiled back at me and that broke the hypnosis suddenly and I looked back down at the ice,

“So… I guess we skate now?” I asked. He smiled and nodded, pulling me onto the ice.

Stephanie POV

Kris and I waited a few minutes before following Kai and Ava into the ice skating rink. We didn’t want to risk an awkward encounter while they were paying or something. We entered and I immediately found them. They were just stepping out onto the ice. I pulled Kris’ sleeve and pointed them out.

“Look! They’re holding hands!” I whispered. He followed my line of sight and smiled. I grabbed his arm and pulled him to a convieniently positioned bench. I knelt on it and bent down so that only my eyes were peeking over the partition. Kris sat down beside me: the normal way. He leaned back casually and tilted himself to face me slightly. He watched me as I followed Kaiva as they skated together. Kris chuckled and shook his head.

“What?” I asked. He just laughed,

“You are so weird.” I turned to him and raised my eyebrows. “What?” he asked. I turned away, smiling slightly,

“Oh, nothing.”

Kris continued to stare at me as I continued to stare at the cute little skating couple. After a few minutes I heard footsteps approach us and someone cleared their throat,

“Umm, excuse me. Yeah, Hi. Umm, my manager told me to tell you that you either have to pay or leave… And this is kinda creepy…” He mumbled the last part and I heard Kris chuckle and I rolled my eyes, never taking my eyes off of the rink. The person was obviosuly a worker,

“Excu-” He began again.  

“Shhh!” I shushed him quickly. Kris was full out laughing now. I heard him and the guy talking for a minute. Soon the guy was leaving and I assumed that Kris had worked it out with the guy.

It was getting slightly boring considering they just skated and Kai continued to hold her hand. Nothing exciting. No falls, dramatic saves, no soulful looking into the others eyes, nothing. I sighed and propped my head up in one hand. Suddenly Kai looked up,

“Oh shoot!” I catapaulted myself to the side and pushed Kris down on the bench. Kai saw us! He freaking saw us! I took in a few panicked breaths. What I forgot was that I had just attacked Kris and was still on his side.

“Uhh, hello? Sephanie?” I shook my head and looked down at Kris. He was staring at me with a skeptical look. I blinked for a moment before realizing the problem and sitting up, although I was somewhat reluctant. He was so comfy... I pouted slightly as I looked back out at the skaters. Kai and Ava were nowhere to be seen and that mean nothing good.

“I think its time for us to go.” I grabbed Kris’ hand and high-tailed it out of there before anything bad happened.

Wow, I am sooo sorry for not updating! See, I figured that I'd be able to update alot more over break but I forgot how crazy things get around Christmas. And since then I've been totally uninspired on all my stories and unable to write and fhdjfhsjhs! I'm sorry!~ But, here's a chapter! I'll have another up tomorrow hopefully and maybe even another soon! So, I really appologize and I hope I can make it up to you!~ DX
