Nina POV

“Go Away.”

“Nina.”

“Mphhmmm.”

“Niiinaaaaa.”

“Whaaaaat?”

“I need to talk to youuuuu.”

“At 2 in the morning?”

“Yesssss!”

This better be good…

I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes.

“What.” Stephanie sighed and hopped up on my bed.

“So… I just had an interesting encounter with Kris…”

Okay. I was awake now.

“What happened?”

“Well… He… He appologized.” I raised an eyesbrow,

“Really? What’d he say?”

“Hesaidhewasstressedandhe’sweirdandIdon’tknow.”

I smirked,

“Yeah. He’s pretty weird.” She hit my arm,

“Yah.”

“Its true…” I mumbled and she laughed,

“But, he said he wants us to be friends. And I appologized too… And he threw Lays at me…”

“He threw Lays at you?” She nodded and I rolled my eyes, “Of course he did.”

“But Nina! Jfhhfslhfslkd! Why did he act weird and why did he appologize and ldkjfhdslfhsdlsk?!” She stared at me intently. I just blinked back at her,

“Uhhhh” Okay, so I totally know the reason. He likes her. He was acting like a five year old boy with an elementry school crush. You know how they tease the girl they like? Bully them even? Yeah. That’s Kris. He’s nothing but a five year old bully with a crush. But what do I tell her?!?! I started to panic, “Uhh… Ummm… I … What?” Her face fell and she sighed,

“You know what… I think I’m going to ask you when you’re a little more awake. I think you’re just sleep talking because you’re not being very useful.” And with that she got up and walked away.

Wow.

The next morning at breakfast, Stephanie recounted her story to Ava.

“Ohhhhhh!” Ava stared at her wide eyed.

“So? What do you think?” Stephanie leaned in excitedly.

“He likes youuuuu!~”

“Whaaaaat?!?!?!”

“Isn’t that what you wanted to hear?” I smirked.

Hey. I didn’t say it, so it’s okay. Kris is technically not allowed to kill me now.

She started spazzing around like a crazy person and Ava and I cracked up.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door and I went to answer it.

“Yi Xing!~” I opened the door and there stood Lay and Kris. He smiled and came in. Kris just stood there awkwardly. “Uh… Hey. You gonna come in?” I asked him.

“Huh? Oh… Yeah.” He ducked his head and came in. He went and stood by Lay. It seemed that now that it wasn’t 2 in the morning, Stephanie and Kris were extremly awkward.

Great.

“Umm… I’m gonna… go in here…” Stephanie made her escape and Kris seemed to relax slightly.

“Where’s you’re brother?” Lay asked. I laughed,

“He’s still asleep.”

“Oh.” He nodded.

“Yeah, you’re safe for now, Yi Xing.” Kris smirked and waggled his eyebrows. I rolled my eyes. We continued to talk and Kris continued to tease Lay and I. I mean, I guess I understood… We were kinda inseperable now after weeks of being apart… But still!

“Hey, Kris.” I was getting tired of it, “Stephaine’s over there. You should go talk to her.” I pointed towards her room. At that he shut up and stalked off to hide in a corner. I laughed; loving this new found power I held over him.

I now had a way to make both of those people shut up.

Funny how it happens to be each other.
