Kris pov

I pulled Stephanie along with me. I wasn’t quite sure where I was going yet or what I wanted to do, but I got a good idea as I walked along. I stopped and looked at my watch. It was getting late and the sun was on the verge of setting. I looked up at the horizon and found what I was looking for. Bingo. I looked over at Stephanie nervously. She was just standing there staring off into space while I was making all of these life or death descisions! I looked back at the sky. I knew exactly what I was going to do. It was time.

Time to let her know how I feel.

I grabbed her hand and began leading her towards our destination.  

Finally we arrived at the base of the giant Ferris wheel. She stared up at it,

“Woah.”

“Do you want to ride it?” I asked.

“Omg, yes!!!” She jumped up and down, but then she stopped when she saw the line, “Aw! But it’ll take forever!!!~” I chuckled,

“Wait here.” I left her and approached the guy manning the Ferris wheel. “Excuse me,” I said. He turned and smiled at me,

“Can I help you?”

“As a matter of fact, you might…” I took a deep breath, “So… there’s this girl I like. She’s right over there,” I gesture towards Stephanie and he smiled,

“I think I know where this is going…”

“Yeah, can you help me out a litle? I mean, is there anyway we can get on now? I kinda want to do this while I acctually have the nerve.” He chuckled and nodded,

“I know the feeling man, I know the feeling." He looked around quickly, then leaned in to speak to me, “I tell you what. Why don’t you two make your way over there to the other side and I’ll sneak you on. I don’t want riders getting upset, but I want to help you, you know?” My smile was huge as he said these words,

“Seriously!? Oh man, thank you so much! I owe you!” He shook his head and laughed,

“Nah, its nothing. Just don’t go telling people. I need this job.” He chuckled and I nodded. I turned and gestured to Stephanie. From here I could see her eyes go wide and she quickly ran over to join me.

“Seriously?!?!” I nodded, “YAY!” She cheered and jumped around. I smiled: I’d say that this was off to a pretty good start.

The guy was able to get us on the next ride. Stephanie bounced in her seat as we started up.

“This is so exciteing! I haven’t been on one of these in forever!” I smiled slightly, nerves beginning to take hold of me. I began shaking my leg slightly out of nervousness and she noticed, “What are you doing?”

“Huh? Oh,” I forced myself to stop, “Its nothing. Sorry.” She gave me a weird look before going back to staring out the window as the world began to grow smaller and smaller below us. We were almost to the top. I took a deep breath. Come on Kris. You can do this. “Stephanie,” I hated how my voice sounded. I cleared my voice and forced my self to sit up straighter. What was wrong with me?! I’ve delt with nerves before! Heck, I’ve performed infront of huge crowds of people yet I can’t confess to one girl. Come on, what kind of Duizhang are you! Lay did this better than you! I gave myself a small pep talk as she began turning to look at me,

“Hmm?” Come on Kris, be cool...

She turned to look at me and all coherent thought left my mind. I turned away and cursed in Mandarin,

“Why can’t I just tell her I like her?” I mumbled to myself, forgetting that she speaks Chinese too. We usually speak in English or Korean, so it had easily slipped my mind.

“Shen me (what?!)!?” She asked. I whirled around to look at her.

“What?” I asked her, panic lacing my voice. She was wide eyed,

“What did you say?”

“Say? What did I say?”

“Yes! What did you say?”

“W-When!?”

“Just now you dumb bunny"

“…Now…?” She nodded and I looked away. I closed my eyes and sighed. Come one Kris. Just say it. I turned back to her slowly. I stared at her for a moment before saying it, “Wo ai ni.” I finally let it out. It was silent for a moment. Up in this little cart on the Ferris wheel far away from the world, all of the sounds drowned out and all I could hear were her words.

“Wo ye ai ni.” She finally said. A smile broke across my face at her words. She blushed and looked away, but I just continued to stare at her, “Stop it!” She smacked my arm and I laughed,

“Why?”

“It makes you look like a creeper. EXO doesn’t need another creeper.”

“But you’re just too perfect, how can I look away?”

“Ew, cheesy!~”

“But it’s true.”

“Extra cheese.”

“I can’t help it if it’s the truth.”

“Gross…” She continued to deny everyword. I reached out and grabbed her hands,

“You’re beautiful.” She stared back into my eyes as I said this, finally blushing and trying to look away. Before she could I caught her cheek with my palm softly. I leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on her lips, pulling away quickly. She stared forward and touched her lips softly. I smiled and looked forward. The ride was coming to its end, but I knew that this was just the beginning…

The ride ended and she remained slightly stunned even as I helped her off of the ride. I grabbed her hand and began trying to figure out where to go next. But as I was contemplating my options I felt a small tug on my hand,

“Kris?”

“Hmm?” I smiled down at her.

“Did that just happen?” I chuckled,

“Yup.” I watched as a smile spread across her face. She tried hiding it with her other hand, but I just grabbed that one too, preventing her from hiding from me. She laughed and looked away. Finally we stopped acting like idiots in the middle of the park and started walking again. That’s when we say Lay and Nina walking along hand-in-hand. Stephanie perked up,

“YAH!!!! NINA!!!! YOU’LL NEVER GUESS WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!!” She ran off in their direction, dragging me along behind her. I laughed as she ran. That was nice while it lasted…

Omg guys. He finally confessed.

Haha, when my coauthor (stephanie) read this she spazzed. I found it quite comical. XP
