Amber POV

I was walking down the hall from practice to the room I share with the other f(x) members. I needed to grab a few things that we had forgotten this morning. As I turned the corner I ran into something. Well, as it turns out, someone. I fell backwards and he stumbled back a few steps at the impact. I groaned. I had landed on my but. Hard. This better not affect my dancing later...

“I’m sorry!” I heard a male voice say in English. I looked up to see who it was speaking.

“Oh. It’s you.” His eyes widened and I smirked.

“Oh! Yeah! You’re Amber! Oh, I’m really sorry about that! Honest! It’s just that… your clothes… and yeah… Not that you yourself look like a boy. I mean, once I saw the front of you I realized you were a girl. You’re actually really pretty. Oh! I mean… Oh, shoot…” He trailed off and rubbed the back of his neck while blushing.

Did he just… say I was… pretty?

He avoided looking at me.

“Uhh...” I remained on the ground as I started up at him. I looked away as I felt my cheeks heating up. Shoot! I can’t believe this. I’m acctually blushing!

“Umm… Are you alright? Sorry I bumped into you…” he finally spoke again.

“Huh? Oh… Yeah… I’m fine… It’s okay.” I replied, waving it off; still preoccupied with the words he had just said a moment before.

“Here,” he held out his hand and bent down. I reached up and grabbed it after staring at it for a moment. He pulled me up and I stumbled for a moment. I let go of him and wiped myself off, if only to gove me something to do.

We stood there awkwardly for a minute,

“So… I kinda need help…” he finally admitted. I looked up at him,

“What?”

“I uh… I’m lost… I’m trying to find Nina… She said she was in Exo’s practice room. But I can’t find it…” I chuckled slightly,

“Alright. I’ll take you. But I have to get something really quick first.” He nodded, “Okay! Thank you!” I shook my head,

“No problem. Uhh… Come on, I guess.” He nodded and followed after me.

We entered the elevator, and that’s when it became really awkward. It was quiet except for the faint music fed through the elevator speakers. I looked over at him. Hmm… yeah… He was pretty cute… Krystal and Luna had giggled about it when we first met him. What was his name again…?

“So you’re Nina’s brother, right?” I asked. He nodded,

“Yeah.”

“What’s your name again?”

“Julian,” I nodded, remembering now. “And you’re Amber?”

“Yeah.”

He remembered my name...

The elevator finally reached my floor and we exited. I found my room and entered the key,

“Uhh,  I guess you can come in. Sorry for the mess…” He entered behind me and looked around. “I’ll be just a minute,” He nodded and took a seat on the couch.

Nina POV

“So… Why are you all siting out here in the hallway…?” I looked up to see Julian and Amber approaching us.

“They kicked us out,”

“Because Lay’s gonna propose to her.”

“OH MY GOSH, HE’S NOT PROPOSING!!!”

“That’s what you think.”

“That’s what I know.”

“That’s your opinion.”

“It’s a fact.”

“And that is also your opinion.”

“Any other opinion is wrong.”

“Now Nina, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.”

“Well MY opinion,” began Julian as he came closer, “Is that he better not be proposing to my little sister if he even wants to see this concert tomarrow.” I rolled my eyes,

“He’s not proposing.”

“He soooo is. You’re just in denial.”

“Well, you’re just crazy.”

“I-Okay… true…” Our argument was about to continue, but Amer butted in,

“Well, I’m just gonna go… I need to get back before Victoria goes all umma and starts freaking out about me taking too long.” We all smiled and waved, except for Julian,

“Thanks for helping me. And um… sorry again… for everything.” For a second I could have sworn I saw Amber blush, but it was gone just as quickly,

“Oh. Yeah. Uh, no problem.” She cleared and walked away.  

It seemed that I was not the only one that noticed that strange moment,

“Ohhh. Julian. What happened? Why were you with Amber?” Stephanie waggled her eyebrows and Julian narrowed his eyes at her,

“Nothing. She was just helping me since you all left me.” Then he walked past us and pulled the door to the practice room, “You guys better not be planning a proposal in there!” I heard voices yelling and Julian was pulled inside the room, the door shut behind him. I smirked and shrugged; he can take care of himself.

Okay... its only been like 5 days, but its been a tortuous 5 days without you guys! DX

I'm gonna try to get another update soon! Like, tonight. Hopefully in an hour or so~ No promises though...
