Luhan was with his best friends, Sehun and Kris, it was a cold cloudy day in Seoul, so they decided to meet at a café to warm up a little bit to some coffee. In Luhan’s hands he had a newspaper looking at how he was on the front cover after preforming at Carnegie Hall in Manhattan, New York which was just a week ago. Sehun brought over the coffee and placed on cup in front of Luhan.

            “Thanks for meeting me,” Luhan said still eyeing the newspaper.

            Sehun sat down next to Kris across from Luhan. “I’m surprised you came back to Seoul, I thought you were going to Europe next for your next concert.”

            Luhan threw the newspaper in front of Sehun and Kris so they could both read. Sehun grabbed it and held it so both him and Kris could see. “Xi Luhan, a child prodigy, was praised for his magnificent performance about ten years ago when he first performed at Carnegie Hall. How his long slender arms could be able to press any key on the glistening black piano, making any noise into music,” Sehun read from the paper.

            “Unfortunately, it seems like this prodigy may only have been good as a child, now that Luhan has turned 22 just a couple months ago in April, it seems like his love for the piano has faded and his music has begun to sound bleak and horrid. This isn’t the first time critics and the audience has noticed Luhan’s lust for his music has faded, ever since the beginning of his tour starting in Beijing, China, (the musician’s home town), when Luhan missed a note in playing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 25. It seems after that tiny mistake and much criticism from critics themselves, Luhan’s talent has been severally wounded. Will this end Xi Luhan’s career? Or will-“ Kris continued.

            Luhan held his hand out telling Kris to stop reading. “Okay, I get it! I already read this.”

            “Luhan, what is really bothering you? You take criticism pretty well,” Sehun asked.

            “I don’t know! I told my manager to cancel the rest of the tours so I can stay here for a little bit in Seoul. Take a little vacation,” Luhan mumbled.

            “Why Seoul? Seoul isn’t really a vacation spot and plus all the critics seem to say you don’t love the piano,” Kris pointed out. “Do you love playing the piano?”

            “Yes, I do. Why do you think I even agreed to this stupid tour,” Luhan snapped.

            Sehun scanned the paper again and stopped when he noticed something and he began to read it out loud. “Perhaps the reason why, Luhan seems cold like Seoul’s weather is because the 22 year old has been single ever since the start of his career. Though he attracts many young women, he seems to have not found the right one to bring the joy into his life.”

            Kris looked at Luhan as he just started tapping his fingers on the table. “Luhan, have you ever liked a girl before?”

            “Girlfriends would get in the way of my career, I don’t want a relationship,” Luhan answered simply.

            “I’m pretty sure you’ve liked a girl before,” Sehun insisted.

            Luhan looked out the window and noticed that it started snowing. Quickly he thought of one person.

“Oppa!” A ten year old Luhan turned around to see a little girl with long black ebony hair run towards him. “Oppa, don’t go.” There were tears in her eyes as she held a stuffed animal with a stripped scarf. 

“Don’t worry Ji Hyun, I’ll come back for you. Once I become famous and I have a lot of money I’ll buy you a castle so you can be a princess,” Luhan promised as he hugged.

“Here, take my bear, so you don’t forget! If you don’t return it to me, I’ll be really upset and you have to buy me a thousand more!”

Luhan smiled at the funny request, but he took the stuff animal from the little girl. “Okay, I promise.”
