Chapter 45 - Romantic

Recap:

Jaejoong ran toward you and hugged you tight, he lifted you up and spun you around

“I am so totally happy right now, I’m not even going to talk about you kissing Donghae in front of me just now” Jaejoong joked

You laughed “Jealous?” you teased, with your body still up in the air “Then here’s for you” you pecked his lips

He put you down “That’s it?” he pouted

You giggled “May~~be” you said playfully

He smiled and shook his head “Who turned you like this, huh? So cheerful and all” he asked suspiciously

You laughed “Babo” you slapped his head lightly

Donghae covered his mouth and looked down at the ground as he  walked down the hill

He silently cried

Aren’t I doing a good thing? To let those two be happy?

But it hurts… It hurts

 

“Andwae… Andwae…”

He heard pants and sobs

He looked up and saw Jessica swaying from side to side, she walked past Donghae, trying to go up the hill but failing. She kept falling on the ground next to Donghae

“Jess!” he ran to Jessica

“Aandwaaeee!!” she screamed as she fell on the ground once again

Donghae kneeled down hugged her tight

Jessica cried harder “I hate you Lee Donghae!” she hit Donghae’s chest and tried to escape, but Donghae was too strong

“Hate me, whatever! But leave them alone…” Donghae said

“Aren’t you hurting too?! Aren’t you hurt when you see them together?! Huh?!” she kept hitting Donghae’s chest

“Of course I am! But I know Hyeri won’t be happy with me, and you too know that Jaejoong won’t be happy with you…” he broke the hug and straightly looked at Jessica’s eyes “I gave Hyeri up for her sake, isn’t it time for you too?”

Jessica avoided his eyes “But… But…” Jessica’s tears started welling up again as she faced Donghae

“You’ll find better, Jess. Someone better for you” Donghae gave her a reassuring smile

Jessica started crying again “Damn you, Donghae!!”

Donghae smiled. He held the back of her head and pulled her to his chest to let her cry on

“You’re not a bad person, Jess. You’re just… stupid” Donghae joked

“Ya, is that supposed to make me feel better?!”  Jessica hit Donghae’s chest hard

“Ouch! Aish” Donghae hissed

Jessica laughed “Mianhae, Donghae-ya” she said as she pulled back from Donghae “For everything I’ve done this past few months”

“As long as you’ve come back to your senses, I’m okay.  Just don’t ever make evil plans anymore”

Jessica nodded and smiled

“It’s nice to see you smile like that again, Jess” Donghae said

“Yeah, I’ve been totally… evil, right?”

“Evil? You were a devil” Donghae corrected

Jessica laughed “Meanie”

“You’re a meanie”

“You are” Jessica fought back

Donghae laughed at her then he exhaled deeply

“Let’s go back, it’s freezing here” Donghae said as he got up “Besides, we’ll be an intrusion to the two of them if we keep being here”

Donghae offered his hand to Jessica and she gladly took it

“I’ve missed you like crazy” Jaejoong said

“We met yesterday!”

“And kissed too, right?”

You rolled your eyes

Jaejoong took a deep breath and screamed out with his arms spread out “Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!”

“Yaa! Why did you scream like that?!” you hit his arm

“Because I’m happy” he answered as he faced you

“Then don’t scream, run around or something!”

Jaejoong pouted

“Stop it, you’re not even cute” you slapped his cheek playfully

“Aah!” he fell on the ground pretending to be hurt “How could you slap me?!”

You rolled your eyes “Drama-queen”

He suddenly grabbed your hand and pulled you down

You yelped at the sudden action. You fell on top of him with your face just an inch from his

He hugged you tight, not letting you go

“Ya! Kim Jaejoong!” you tried to break free from his hug

“Ya, we’re finally back together, this wasn’t what I thought would happen” he pouted “I thought we were going to be all lovey-dovey” he sighed

You looked straight at him and smiled “Mianhae”

“You have to make it up to me”

“How?” you furrowed your eyebrows

“Close your eyes” he told you

You did as he told

He leaned closer, you could feel each other’s breaths

You felt his lips on top of yours

You both kissed each other

 

There you both were, on the snow-covered ground, in the middle of the snow, kissing each other at sunset

The kiss sweet and slow. Romantic…

Who would’ve thought that you, the cold hearted statue, would be kissing the hottest kingka in the whole school…  No, the hottest in the whole city of Seoul

No one, not even yourself

The best part is…

You both loved each other

 

The kiss lasted for a couple of minutes until you broke the kiss

You were almost out of breath

“Saranghae” he said

Your heart skipped a beat when you heard him

You smiled “Saranghae”
