Chapter 38 – I Will Make Her Mine

Donghae was left in confusion, just standing there in the cold snowy night, watching your figure fading away from him

And there stood Jaejoong, who saw the whole thing

He clenched his fists and went after Donghae

He grabbed Donghae’s coat and punched his straight in the face

“You son of a !”

Donghae fell on the ground, wiping his lips and then stood up again

He punched Jaejoong back, which made Jaejoong fall back a few steps

Jaejoong grabbed Donghae coat again and looked at him with fiery eyes

“You..” he growled

“What?” Donghae showed no fear as he spit the blood from his mouth to the side

“Why are you between me and Hyeri, huh?! What’s your motive?!”

“I have none! I happen to like Hyeri”

“Bull! You didn’t know her!”

“That was then! This is now! Now I know her and I love her. You’ve got no chance with her, Jaejoong!”

“Yeah?! What if I do?! What if I can get her back?!”

“I’d like to see you try” Donghae gave Jaejoong a sinister laugh

“What makes you so confident?” Jaejoong questioned suspiciously

“Because Hyeri doesn’t love you anymore!” Donghae lied

“What?! Say that again!” Jaejoong’s grip tightened

“Yeah, that’s right. She doesn’t love you anymore. Deal with it”

“You’re lying. I know you are!”

“I’m not lying. So back off! She won’t be with you again! She’s gonna have a happy life with me!”

Jaejoong was furious. His face went closer to Donghae

Both of them could feel and hear each other’s heavy breaths

You stayed on the snow-coevered ground for a couple of minutes just staring at the sky

You didn’t care about the freezing temperature

Then you slowly got up, your hands were freezing so you heated them with your breath

You took a walk in the snow for a while, just enjoying the beautiful scenery

You felt relaxed and at peace, you felt like you could forget everything

Jaejoong, Donghae, Jessica, Hyemi… Everything…

There was only you and the snow

“Can’t I just stay here..?” you wondered to yourself

“I don’t want to go back to my life… It’s just so hard…”

But you knew you couldn’t do that

You knew you can’t just run away from your problems. It was just never who you are

You had to face them

You had to choose

So you went back to the resort, hoping they wouldn’t see you going back

Thank God all of the students had already gone to their own rooms

You went back to your room and locked it

You sighed and took off your coat then threw it on the ground

You ran your fingers through your hair as you made your way to the bed and sat on the edge of it
