You turned away and left the house, leaving your step parents in shock and anger

"Sorry I took too long. Come on, Hyemi" you picked her up

"Unni.. Why are your cheeks all bruised?" she asked as she touched your cheek

You winced "I fell" you forced a smile

"Oh.. So that's why you're crying?" she asked again

"I'm not crying, sweetie.."

"Unni, don't lie"

"I'm not, Hyemi. I just look like I'm crying" you lied

She pouted "Be happier unni!"

You smiled and kissed her cheek

You walked to the front gate and your eyes widened in shock

Jaejoong was waiting outside, he was leaning against his car

You stopped your tracks "J-Jae..joong"

He walked closer to you and looked at your face, his eyes widened at your bruised, scratched face

You looked away

"What.. happened?" he asked in concern

"Nothing"

"Don't lie, Hyeri. And who's this?" he turned to your little sister who was in your arms

"She's.. my little sister"

Jaejoong was confused "Tell me later, just get in my car" he told you

"No" you walked away, leaving him

"Hyeri!" he shouted

You turned around, your face showed pain and sadness

Jaejoong was stunned "Please.. Don't do this to yourself. I told you, if you need anything you can talk to me. Just go with me,okay?" he begged

You looked down

"Think of your sister. Your house is far from here" he pointed out

You sighed

Jaejoong went closer

"Okay, let your sister decide then"

He bent down a little as his face went closer to Hyemi's

"Little girl, do you want to walk or ride my beautiful car over there?" his hand pointed back at his back but his face still set on Hyemi with a grin

Hyemi's eyes wandered to where he was pointing, her eyes glittered "Car! Car!" she said excitedly

Jaejoong smiled "Good girl" he pinched her cheek and stood up properly

"See, your sister wants to ride my car"

You rolled your eyes

You left him and went to his car

Jaejoong just smiled seeing you from the back

What a stubborn girl.. he shook his head

You put Hyemi in the back seat and you sat in the front

Jaejoong sat on the driver's seat and drove

"Should I ask what happened?" Jaejoong asked

"No" you said simply

He waited for a while, then asked "What happened?"

You rolled your eyes "Nothing"

"No way. There must be something. I'm not stupid"

"Yes, you are stupid"

He frowned

You looked at him and softened "I'm not in the mood right now, Jaejoong. Let's talk about this later, okay?"

He nodded "Okay. But promise me you'll tell me some time"

You didn't respond

There were a lot of questions running through his mind, but he decided to hold it. He knew you had some problems to take care of

You arrived at your house

You got out of the car and so did Jaejoong

You opened the door to the back seat and picked Hyemi up

Jaejoong walked to you

"Thanks, Jaejoong-ah"

"No problem. Are you sure you don't need anything?" he asked in concern

You stayed quiet for a while, "You.. do you want something to eat? I can cook you some if you want" you said shyly

Jaejoong gave you an amused smile "You're offering me dinner?"

"It's okay if you don't want-" you said quickly, but Jaejoong pressed his finger against your lips

"There's nothing else I would do" he smiled

"Okay then. Let's go inside" you walked in front of him first, but he caught up with you
