Chapter  43 – Over

Recap:

As soon as he closed the door, you fell on your knees

Donghae closed the door and walked back lifelessly to his room

He opened the door to his room and closed it

He stood there a couple of minutes just staring at nothing

He clenched his fist and punched the wall on his right with all his might “ this all!!”

His knees felt weak and they fell on the floor

“Mianhae, Hyeri… I’ve been so selfish all of these times” he said as he cried

The next day…

It was morning and Jaejoong was walking along the hallway, trying to find something to do or even better, bump into you. But no, he didn’t bump into you nor did he find something interesting to do

He reached a corner with a left turn, he was about to turn but then he heard somebody talking. So he stopped and his behind the wall

“I can’t do this anymore” a guy said

“What?” a squeaky voice said

That voice… is that Jessica?

Jaejoong could recognize Jessica’s voice but still couldn’t manage to recognize the other one

“I said, I can’t do this anymore. Seeing Hyeri like that… I can’t. I just can’t. We have to fix this”

Hyeri?  Jaejoong raised an eyebrow

“What in the world are you talking about?”

“Ya, don’t play dumb with me. You know what she’s been like since she split with Jaejoong”

Is that… Donghae?  He moved closer so he could hear clearer

“W-when did you last see her?”

“Last night”

Jessica’s eyes widened in horror

“Y-you mean sh-she’s alive??” Jessica asked

“Well, duh! Of course she’s alive! Why wouldn’t she be?”

“O-oh n-nothing” Jessica laughed nervously

Donghae looked at Jessica suspiciously “What did you do..?”

Jessica shook her head vigorously “Nothing!”

Donghae still had his suspicions but he set it aside for a while

Huh? Did… possibly… Jessica had something to do with Hyeri’s accident?

“Donghae, why are we having this talk again?! I told you right?! We’re both on the advantageous side here! We’re both happy right?! What’s there to be fixed?!” Jessica yelled

“EVERYTHING!! Jess, we’re being selfish here! How can you not think about Hyeri’s feelings?! About Jaejoong’s feelings?!”

“WHY SHOULD I?! I’m happy right?! That’s all that matters!”

“You’re happy?” Donghae laughed “Happy? Jaejoong doesn’t love you! And he will never do!”

“LEE DONGHAE!” Jessica was in the verge of crying

“Don’t say you don’t already know this. Deep in your heart, you know he doesn’t love you”

“He does! And he will!” Jessica protested

“Stop lying to yourself! You’ve been hurting a lot of people! Hyeri, Jaejoong and Hyeri’s sister too! Don’t you know how many times she’s cried every time she remembers about her sister?! Huh?! Do you?!”

 “But I’m not hurting her sister! I keep her safe!”

“Even so! You’re separating her from Hyeri! Why can’t you just give her back?!”

“But if I give her back then Hyeri will be back with Jaejoong again!”

Jaejoong clenched his fists when he heard about this

“Then so be it! You can’t keep her sister forever, Jessica! Stop being so ing selfish!” Donghae snapped

“Then what about you, huh?! You’ve been in the way of them all these times too! Don’t say you didn’t want Hyeri! Don’t say you weren’t selfish as well!”

“Yeah, I still want her and I was selfish! But I know she won’t be as happy as when she was with Jaejoong if she stays with me… That’s why… That’s why I want to end this all” Donghae said sadly  “So… let’s just back off”

“No!” Jessica was still persistent

“Jess!”

“No!! I don’t want to!!” Jessica cried

“Jess! How could you be so cruel?!”

Jessica didn’t answer

“Whatever, I’m still going to solve this whether you agree or not” Donghae said then left without saying another word

“Donghae! Donghae!!” Jessica shouted but Donghae wouldn’t look back

Jessica screamed in anger as she stomped her foot

“I have to think of a plan…  A plan” she said to herself as she turned around walked back

“A plan.. a plan..” she chanted but then stopped

Jessica’s eyes widened in horror

Jaejoong’s arms were crossed as he leaned on the wall. He glared at Jessica with full raging eyes

“H-How long have you been here, oppa?” she asked as if nothing was wrong

“Cut the crap, Jess. It’s over” Jaejoong said coldly and then just like Donghae, he left without saying another word

Jessica’s knees fell on the floor

Her body was lifeless as she stared blankly at the carpet in front of her

Tears started running down her cheeks again

She covered her face with her hands and cried her hearts out

It’s… over

i am soooooo sorry for the late update!

you can say i had a writer's block hahaha

but good thing today i finally figured everything out :)
