Jaejoong strolled down his neighborhood to get some fresh air

His thoughts were only about you

He decided to go to your house

But to his dissapointment, you weren't there

He knocked on your door for about 5 minutes, but still no answer

It was already 5 p.m, and suddenly Hyemi came to his mind

Maybe Hyeri's with Hyemi at the daycare..


15 minutes later, Jaejoong arrived at the daycare

He opened the door and went to the receptionist

The receptionist was stunned by Jaejoong's looks

"C-can I help you sir?" the woman asked politely

"Is Lee Hyemi here?"

"Oh, Lee Hyemi? She hasn't been coming here since 3 days ago"

"3 days ago?"

That was when Hyeri started ignoring me

"And has her sister come here?" he asked again

The woman shook her head "No, I'm sorry"

Jaejoong's shoulders deflated

Where are you?! You always skip class, you're not at your house, Hyemi isn't at the daycare. What's going on?

He went back to his house, slammed his room door shut and laid on the bed

Hyeri.. Why are you avoiding me? Did I do something wrong..?

He spent the next 30 minutes staring at the ceiling before falling asleep

It was 6 o'clock, and Donghae dropped you home

You two were in front of your apartment building "Well, thanks for the meal" you thanked him

"No problem, but wait, why do you always skip class? You've been skipping class since Tuesday"

"Nothing you should know about" you replied coldly

He pursed his lips "Fine. Let me walk you to your door"

"No thanks, I can go on my own" you opened the car door but he grabbed your wrist

"Hey, I insist" he said

You couldn't help but give in, he was just like Jaejoong, persistent


You were in front of your door

"I had a great time today" Donghae said

You nodded, there was an awkward silence between the two of you. But then you cleared your throat to break it

"Well, I probably should go in"

"Yeah, see you tomorrow"

You nodded and you unlocked the door and went in

Donghae left with a big grin on his face

It has already been a week since you've been avoiding Jaejoong. No matter how hard he tried to talk to you, you would always leave in a hurry

It was lunch time and you were sitting alone at a table

"Hey" Jaejoong suddenly appeared next to your ear

You flinched "Ah, Jaejoong-ah.."

He sat next to you as he put his tray on the table

"I haven't been talking to you lately.. I went to your house and you weren't there, I went to Hyemi's daycare and she wasn't there. What's going on?" he asked

You let out a nervous laugh "N-nothing's going on. Why would you think that?"

"Because.. You've been acting really weird. Did I do something wrong?" he guessed

"No, you didn't. I just.." you didn't know what to answer "Need some space" you lied

"Space? Space for what?"

"Jaejoong, I have a lot in my mind. My job, my school.. Hyemi" you bit your lip "And I don't need you to be another problem in my messed up life"

You were slowly dying inside with every word. Every word you said hurt you. You could only imagine how much it hurt him

Jaejoong just blinked "You.. Don't want me to be a part of your life?"

"T-That's-" then you suddenly caught Jessica watching you "Exactly what I mean.."

That was it, you died inside

I'm sorry, Jaejoong-ah.. I'm sorry.. I'm really sorry

"Is that.. what you really feel?" his voice was full of sadness and pain

No, no, no, no, no! That's not what I really feel!!

You shut your eyes, you couldn't face him, and you had to hold the tears

"I.. have to go" you stood up and left him
