Ha Neul + Myung Soo (L) = <3

This story is about a young girl who had a normal life. Great family and amazing friends since they were younger. She had everything that she could have ever asked for but…her tiny problems are that she was an easy target when it comes to bullying.

When she was younger she was easily picked on which makes life harder for her. That is until she met up with two brave and strong boys at the age of five. Her two Knight and Shinning armors were always there to protect and save her. They became the three musketeers and did everything together.

That is until she entered high school she met up with some difficulties. Most of these problems were mainly because of drama, friendship and love.

“Good morning Ha Neul!” Two loud happy voices called out to the girl from behind. The young girl whom was sitting in the back of the classroom with a book covering her head quickly leaped out of her seat from fright. The book flew off of her head and landed on the ground.

“I didn’t steal your cookie!” The girl named Ha Neul cried out loudly. The two boys from behind blinked and then burst out laughing loudly. Ha Neul rubbed her eyes and looked back her only seeing her two best friends Woo Hyun and Byung Hun, mainly known as L.Joe.

“Ehh? Woo Hyun, L.Joe? You two were the ones that ruined my cookie dream?!” Ha Neul blurted out while pouting. Woo Hyun and L.Joe stopped laughing when they saw how serious Ha Neul looked for a second then suddenly they continued laughing once again. Ha Neul’s cheeks turned pink and she couldn’t help but laugh as well.

“Ahh, sorry noona~ But who knew you were a cookie stealer in your figment of imaginations,” L.Joe teased while picking up the book that was lying on the ground.

“I’m not! It’s not my fault that Barney was trying to eat me when I secretly ate all the cookies that he made for his little children friends!” Ha Neul explained while running her hands through her hair and pouting sadly at her desk table. She held on a cute sad look.

“Whoa, whoa wait…you mean Barney as in the dinosaur? That purple and green thing that plays around with children?” Woo Hyun asked while raising an eyebrow. L.Joe placed the book back on Ha Neul’s desk and stared at Ha Neul strangely.

“Yes! And now he’s going to be haunting me in my dreams until I bake him some cookies in return!” Ha Neul exaggerated while sighing.

“It’s okay Ha Neul, we’ll save you from the evil grasps of that dinosaur,” Woo Hyun said while grinning happily. L.Joe nodded in agreement while Ha Neul felt at piece whenever she was with her friends. Oh course she had loads of friends but none of them were special as these two.

“Oh Woo Hyun-oppa, L.Joe-dongsaeng, wanna go hang out at the ice cream parlor afterschool?” Ha Neul asked while grinning. The two boy’s grins slowly fade away and they looked a bit nervous with a hint of uneasiness.

“Afterschool…? Erm…about that noona, I sort of made plans with Min Sun, sorry” L.Joe began while tugging on his shirt collar. Ha Neul blinked and smiled brightly.

“Oh! I see. No worries at all dongsaeng…well how about you oppa?” Ha Neul asked while gazing over at the older boy who was rubbing the back of his neck.

“I promised that I would walk Min Jung to her volley ball practice tournament, sorry” Woo Hyun began while sighing.

The young girl’s heart saddens but still was happy for her best friends. Of course they usually bail out on her like this for their girlfriends. She usually let’s them slip by since they were happier with their lovers. The three friends were usually so close to one another until they eventually went separate ways; mainly towards the guys. Ha Neul was usually alone now a day but that didn’t bother her at all.

“We’re truly sorry Ha Neul, we’ll ma-” The two boys began at the same time.

“No, no it is totally fine go have fun with your girlfriends, trust me” Ha Neul said while grinning and getting up from her seat. She walked on out of the door and went towards her locker.

Ha Neul opened up her locker and moved the items inside the small cabinet aside.  She looked over and saw the bandage box that her other close friend had bought for her. She took out the box and thought back to her other knight.

‘Myung Soo…’Ha Neul thought and remember the bright smiling face that was engraved in her mind. She smiled and felt her heart warmed up once again.

Not too long ago Ha Neul ran into some trouble which caused Myung Soo to go and save her from. What was her problem you asked? Well…when Woo Hyun and L.Joe weren’t around a couple of girls decided to gang up on Ha Neul. They beat the poor girl senseless until she was unconscious or at least they thought so.  

And who were the villains of this evil crime?

Min Jungand Min Sun. Oh yes, Woo Hyun and L.Joe’s so called sweet and angelic girlfriends who were basically the opposite when it comes to Ha Neul. Obviously Min Jung and Min Sun were jealous of Ha Neul’s popularity with everyone. They knew that Ha Neul was pretty and very well liked by everyone. She also had the attention of the three most popular guys of the school. Not to mention that the three boys were always with her and protecting her. They were so jealous of Ha Neul ever since middle school that it made their blood boil.

Ha Neul sighed and closed the locker door. She turned over and saw the two devils before her. Ha Neul shifted her eyes away and tried walking away but only got cornered by Min Jung. She slammed her hand onto the locker and slapped Ha Neul’s bag out of her grasp. The young girl’s book bag was immediately dropped onto the ground.

Min Sun picked up Ha Neul’s bag and turned it upside down and let all of her books and materials drop onto the ground. She dumped everything onto the floor and threw the empty bag on the ground.

“We warned you yesterday to stay away from our oppas,” Min Sun hissed out while piercing her glare into Ha Neul’s soul.

“How can I when they are my best fri-” Ha Neul was cut off with a harsh smack on her cheek. Ha Neul’s eyes widen at the impact. Without knowing Min Sun’s sharp manicured nails scratched Ha Neul’s cheek and then suddenly she felt the back of her head being yanked.

“May we remind you that we are their girlfriends?” Min Jung asked while tugging on Ha Neul’s hair. Ha Neul whimpered at the pain that was running through her head. Min Sun stood back and cackled. She could feel the tears forming up slowly but then suddenly the pain went away. She heard a loud thud against the lockers. A loud shriek came from Min Sun’s lips.

“What kind of girlfriends are you? Threatening their friends like this!” An icy cold tone snapped out while Ha Neul suddenly glanced up to seeing Myung Soo. Myung Soo let out a low growl as Min Jung and Min Sun looked at the older senior with wide eyes.

“I’m going to tell once again and this will be my last warning. STAY AWAY from Ha Neul or else I’ll rearrange your face so bad that your moms will never even recognize you. Now get out of my face you ,” Myung Soo gritted out while shooting deadly glared at both of them. The girl’s eyes widen and felt chills dancing up and down their back spines.

The two girls stumbled up and ran down the halls. They tripped a couple of times but manage to get up and disappeared. Myung Soo grinned in victory and glanced down at the girl who was slowly packing up her bag once again. Myung Soo bent down and helped the poor girl pick up her books and belongings.

Ha Neul and Myung Soo reached for the same book but end up brushing their fingers against one another. Myung Soo recoil his hand while Ha Neul took the book.

“Oppa…” Ha Neul began while locking eyes with Myung Soo. Myung Soo stared back into her deep brown eyes and suddenly saw the blood slowly dripping from her cheek.

Myung Soo reached into his pocket and took out a navy blue handkerchief. He reached up towards her newly fresh cut and dabbed his cloth on her cheek. “Why are you such an easy target?” He murmured out quietly while Ha Neul felt her cheeks flush pink.

Ha Neul raised her hand to his hand with the cloth piece. He dropped his hand while Ha Neul held onto the cloth. She slid down the lockers and sighed miserably. “I can’t answer that oppa,” Myung Soo remained silent and took a seat beside her.  There was a moment of silence between the two teenagers.

“I tried talking to Woo Hyun and L.Joe about their girlfriend’s beating…” Myung Soo began while the awkward silence went away quickly.

“What did they say?” Ha Neul glanced over at the older boy for an answer.

“They didn’t say anything. They thought I was joking around so they laughed everything off, jackasses…” Myung Soo spat out while twitching. Ha Neul’s heart hesitated and couldn’t say anything.

“Oppa…you can’t always protect me,” Ha Neul began but only got cut off by Myung Soo’s famous low scowl.

“Who says I can’t? If I don’t these rapid vicious fan girls will eat you alive!” Myung Soo scolded while Ha Neul shook her head.

“You are rarely eating lunch now. You’re starving yourself because of these insane whack-heads. I’m worried about you Ha Neul,” Myung Soo said while wrapped an arm around Ha Neul’s shoulder and pulling her towards him. She rested her shoulder on his and closed her eyes.

‘I only have you now oppa…’ Ha Neul thought while silent tears ran down her cheeks. Myung Soo saw in the corner of his eyes crystal drops of water ran down the girl’s cheeks. It pained him severely to seeing this sight of the once happy girl was now in so much pain.

Spring break finally came and Ha Neul’s family was rushing around the house since their flight was in an hour. Ha Neul was still lying in bed since her head and stomach ached. The mother came in and saw Ha Neul’s pale face; being a worried mother she rushed over to her baby.

“Baby girl, are you okay?!” The mother asked while looking at her daughter frantically. Ha Neul shifted her body around and opened her eyes weakly.

“Umma…is that you? I can see white light,”

“OH MY GOD! MY BABY IS SEEING GOD! BIG BROTHER! APPA OUR BABY IS SEEING THE WHITE LIGHT!” The mother cried out frantically while bawling her eyes out.

“WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!” In a quick movement the father rushed in with wide eyes. The big brother came in with a glass of water. He went on over to his younger sister and placed the glass of water on the desk beside Ha Neul’s bed.

“Umma…appa, that’s not the type of light that I’m taking about…” Ha Neul spoke softly while covering her eyes with her arm.

“Umma, Appa I think Ha Neul is talking about her window,” The older brother said while pointing at the sunlight that was shining through the window and flickering it’s sunrays at Ha Neul’s face.

“Oh!” The clueless parents said while chuckling embarrassingly.

“Anyways, honey, are you okay?” The mother asked once again while frowning at the younger girl.

“I’m not feeling the best but I can’t hold the family back. You have business to attend too so go ahead and go without me,” Ha Neul said while her face redden.

“No way baby, knowing that you are like this I won’t go,” The father said while brushing the misplaced hair lines out of his daughter’s face.

“Umma, appa why don’t you both go, I’ll stay back with Ha Neul,” The big brother said with a grin.

“Are you sure Chang Min, I mean we could always reschedule?” The mother asked worriedly.

“Yes I’m very sure mom, dad” Chang Min began in a serious tone. “We won’t always get a serious offer like this, now go I’ll be a good oppa and watch over Neulie-dongsaeng,” Chang Min stated while smiling. The parents hesitated at first but gave in to the older boy. Chang Min pushed their parents out of the door and practically flung the parent’s suit cases out of the house.

“And stay out of Ha Neul’s and Chang Min’s Sanctuary,” Chang Min demanded in a teasing way.

“Be good! Lock all the doors; I’ll call you both to check in! Make sure Ha Neul takes her medicine as well!” The mother called out through the car’s window. Chang Min waved good-bye and went into the house.

Chang Min went into the younger sister’s room and saw that she was sleeping. He went over and brushed her bangs out of her face once again and kissed the top of her head.
