Dreams
I've Always Been More Than A Friend"Oppa!"
A crying girl was in Seunghyun's arms. He just came to her house and everyone was busy. he didn't know what was happening.
"Oppa. We're leaving for America."
"What.?! Why.?! When are you coming back.?!"
"I don't know. But I promise oppa. I'll do everything to come back."
"I don't want you to go! I don't want to lose you."
"Me, too, oppa. I don't want to leave. I don't want to be away from you. But we have to go."
" I... I..... I'm going to miss you Seonhwa."
"I'm going to miss you, too oppa. I'm going to miss you so much!"
"Please come back."
"I will oppa. I will. I promise. I love you.!"
He hugged her and kissed her softly. He looked back at her and saw a tear fall from her eyes. Suddenly, the car engine started and.......
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Seunghyun screamed at the top of his lungs. He sat up on his bed and looked around. No car. No busy people. No Seonhwa in front of her. He was in his room. It was just a dream. It felt so real. He was sweating and started feeling numb. He fell back on his bed.
"Why do I keep on dreaming that.?! Urgh.!" he growled under his breath.
"It was just 4:30 in the morning. It's Monday. First day of school, his first day of his last year in highschool. He couldn't return to sleep thinking about his dream. So, he got out of bed and did some exercise.
Seunghyun changed a lot in six years. He was tall, very tall. He used to be funny and gullible but now, he's just silent, serious and authoritive. He cared a lot on how he looked. Girls followed him evrywhere and he dated. He's dated a lot of girls, younger or older, but he never got into a relationship. He never fell in love with anybody more then how he loved Seonhwa. He's still waiting for her.
He got into the shower to get ready. He was thinking about the beautiful 10-year old Seonhwa he last saw. Those beautiful, sparkling eyes behind the glasses that make him shiver everytime they look straight into his. Those rosy cheeks. Those thin lips that always curl into a sweet smile. Those perfect, pearly, white teeth. Her smooth, thick, dark brown hair that smell so good. Those soft, caring hands that hold his when he's sad. Everything. Everything Seonhwa was, is and will always be the only thing he wanted. He wanted to see her again, to hug her and to be with her forever.
He stared at the mirror and talked to his reflection while washing his face and drying off. "You miss her so much, don't you? You want to see her so bad. But you're pathetic and you know it. Ever since she left, you haven't even tried to communicate with her. What? Afraid of crying?!"
That was true enough. He didn't try to communicate her. He was afraid of crying. He never cried for a girl. He never will, he thought, in front of her,
"In front of her," Seunghyun said as he looked at himself in the mirror as he was buttoning his shirt. "I wonder what she looks like now. Six years. She was beautiful before. Maybe she's much more beautiful now. Maybe she's taller. Maybe she's popular in America. Maybe she already has a boyfriend. Maybe........."
He stopped. he hung his head low. His hands were on the wall for support. He said, "Maybe she's forgotten all about me."
He felt a tear fall from his eyes. He wiped it away. "No, Seunghyun. She hasn't forgotten about you. You love her. She loves you. Believe in her," he said as he picked up his bag and ran downstairs for breakfast.
