Chelsea POV
"G-Girlfriend? Oh! Alright," I stuttered.
Why am I stuttering?
"Yes," the girl in front of me gave a curt nod and motioned her hand to the door, "Now if you excuse me..."
"Uhm, yeah! Okay, I'm off, thank you!"
I should have known he had a girlfriend.
Just as I was about to walk into my own house, I got a phone call.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Chelsea?" the girl on the other end answered and my eyes widened when I recognised the voice.
"Lucy? Oh my God Lucy!"
"I can't believe it really is you Chelsea!"
Lucy was my friend back at school, and she was my only real one. After I was sent away for conspiracy of murder of my parents, she stuck by my side and visited me while everybody else I had known just left.
"Ditto," I laughed, "How did you get my number?"
We then agreed to meet up at a nearby café to catch up, and I don't think I can express how excited I was.

"Yah!" a shout welcomed me when I walked in, and instantly I was engulfed in a broad hug.
I smiled and wrapped my arms back around her small frame, breathing in her soft scent reminded me of the old days. Of the days we would sit along the banks of the beach and watch the waves crash along the shore, of the days where we would walk around the city streets, with large ice creams in our hand to soak in the night heat.
It reminded me of life before I went to jail. Of life before my parents left. Of happiness.
"Chelsea," she said when she slowly tore from me and I looked into her eyes, eyes that were cloning my teary and blood shot ones.
"I missed you so much," I hiccupped, wiping my cheeks of the tears.
"Same," she said, and I wiped her tears for her, "Let's... Let's sit down."
I laughed at her through my tears as we walked to the bench in the far corner, not that it made any difference, everyone in the café had seen our meeting just now anyway, and sat down.
Lucy waved the barista over and started to give her order. It was something along the lines of 'Triple, Venti, Half Sweet, Non-Fat, Caramel Macchiato' I think. Then it was my turn, "Uhm, I'll just get a chocolate milkshake."
"So how is work?" I asked her, leaning over the side of the table.
"Hectic, you know, so many uni students I am suddenly in charge of," she sighed.
"But you're a doctor, what would you need..."
"I honestly don't know."
"Well I know you'll do great," I laughed at her and the orders came.
"That was fast," Lucy thanked the barista.
"You had a quick order," she replied and bowed her head.
"What about you?" she asked me.
"What?"
"How's work?"
"Oh... uhm..."
"No, don't tell me you don't have a job?" she asked, her eyes widening and I dropped my head to the table. "Oh no honey..."
"It's not so easy with a criminal record and everything..."
"Oh my gosh Chelsea..." she started to look at me with pity, "I wish there was something I could do to help you. I'm so sorry."
"No! It's not your fault, don't worry, I'll find one in time, hopefully."
"Do you have a place to stay?"
I nodded, "At oppa's home, I
