Just Because[CONTENTID1] Joo-joo and the stubborn boy… [/CONTENTID1]

"I don't like this Jungkook guy," Eunjoo's mother said.
Eunjoo rolled her eyes, 'I don't like him too.'
The lack of response from her daughter made the mother kneel in front of Eunjoo. "Oh come on, Joo-joo. I seriously want to meet your boyfriend! I thought you'd be able to finally set a meet up if I said I hated him. I take it back. Just let me meet this young man."
"He's a boy. And, we haven't been in contact with each other mom."
It was Eunjoo's mother's time to roll her eyes. "You're a young woman, not a girl anymore. Baekhyun tells me this Jungkook guy is the same age as you are so he's a young man."
The woman then scoffed, "And, I wouldn't consider coming late everyday while you're with Jungkook, 'not being in contact with each other', Joo. I'm meeting him, and that's final."
Eunjoo didn't know why she even blushed at that. She and Jungkook just hung out after school. They either went to arcades or to the library. And the whole time they were in those places, they simply minded their own business and wandered about by themselves.
At the end of each day, they'd be boarding the bus two hours later after classes are dismissed. In the bus, she and Jungkook rarely talked unless one of them accidentally slips a question between their silence.
By the time they get out of the bus, they walk silently beside each other. And although they lived at different streets, Jungkook silently walks her home until a few houses away from the actual house. Eunjoo explains that she doesn't want her mother to meet him yet, but Jungkook shrugs in nonchalance.
"Yeah, Joo-joo" Baekhyun rolls over to his stomach as he laid sprawled all over the carpeted floor of the living room, imitating Eunjoo's mother's cringe-worthy endearment for her as he smirked. "Let imo meet your lovely boyfriend."
"Shut up, Baek." Eunjoo glared and hit Baekhyun with a throw pillow she picked from the sofa. "What kind of a best friend are you?"
"One of a kind."

"I heard you're getting good with racing games, Eunjoo." Taehyung's face popped up so suddenly that it caused Eunjoo to jump from her seat.
"Yeah," Jimin's gentle voice followed after as he simply sat beside her.
Eunjoo shrugged, totally not being modest because she has never won any racing arcade games, but did improve from her first time playing. "I'm not that good."
"Which is why," Taehyung sighed dramatically, spinning over to sit on his chair on her other side. "We decided to test out Jungkook's new play station this weekend. Are you coming? Yes, of course you are! Alright we'll see you there!"
Eunjoo never even answered that question, but she didn't mind hanging out somewhere that is not her house (or Baekhyun's house) that weekend.
"I also heard," Jimin leaned in and Eunjoo looked over. She gladly accepted the fact that these boys were very skilled gamers, but they were surprisingly very attentive gossipers too. "That your mother wanted to meet our Kookie. Tell us when you'd like to make an appointment and we'll make sure he'll be looking dandy."
