“Would you… want to come and stay with me?” he blushed. 

That cutest man alive didn’t just blush and make my heart flutter like there was a whole damn zoo in my stomach. I mean, c’mon, we just had a little, uhm, controversy (?) not long ago and I was being all dramatic but now I’m trying not to squeal. 

I noticed that whenever Baekhyun feels shy, he would have this very squishy smile plastered on his face and he would quickly change the topic by joking about something else. And that was exactly what he was doing after he asked that question. I didn’t even get the chance to answer before he continuously talked about the weather and about how Kyungsoo was playing game in his room the other day. 

“Byun Baek, stop. Stop, stop.” I recited. 

“... What?” 

“Are you embarrassed because you just invited me to err, cohabit with you?” Damn, cohabit. What a big word. Hah. 

His cheeks flushed pink again, hearing the word ‘cohabit’. That was the exact same moment when I heard his room door cracked opened and a gust of noise entered the scene. Baekhyun quickly folded his screen down a little and all I could see was just the zoomed in  keyboard.

“HAHAHAHAHAHA,” a loud laughter echoed around the room. The laughter didn’t sound like there was only an intruder, but a few. 

“Baek you’re such a coward!” Jongdae. 

“Hyung, I didn’t even know you knew how to write ‘shy’.” Kai? 

“Kim Kai, don’t underestimate our hyung. Don’t you remember how he didn’t even bother holding Suzy’s hand during their first stage together last time? Right, Do Dyo?” Sehun.

Oh, so there was one more quiet Kyungsoo at the back. 

“Yah, what are you people even doing outside my room?!” Baekhyun raged. 

“Eavesdropping,” Kyungsoo finally voiced out after all the hassle between the 4 boys who were almost 30. “Publicly,” and he added, “isn’t it very obvious?” 

I could definitely imagine Baekhyun eye-rolling at them and whacking them while someone tilted the screen back up and I saw something else than the keyboard again. 

“HIIIIII, SALLY, I MISSED YOU!!!” I heard Jongin’s voice screaming across the video call and Sehun called along too, “ME TOO!! ME TOO,” while them two towers were still wrestling and battling with my pitiful small Byun. 

“Hey, you two maknaes, stop bullying your hyung!” I laughed. 

“Kid, what is “hey, you two maknaes”! You’re supposed to call us ‘oppa-s’,” they screamed without even looking at the laptop and simultaneously, Baekhyun was screaming as well, “ARGHHHHH, YAHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHHH, LET ME GO! JIA, SAVE ME!” 

Jongdae was just laughing away at the side, watching the intense fight, enjoying the fun and I kept eyeing Kyungsoo who would look into the camera once in awhile. He acknowledge my SOS signs and he finally exploded when he couldn’t stand the noise anymore, “you 3 maknaes, cut it off!” Times when Satansoo is effective as . The whole room quieted down and my poor man was finally saved. 

I almost died laughing my off looking at his messy hair and untidy clothes. “I will revenge, you wait, kids!” Baekhyun said with a wicked smile on his face and I knew at that exact moment that he was planning something in his mind already. 

Satansoo smiled and shook his head as he looked at those ‘kids’ scoffing at each other. He turned around to talk to me after awhile. “How have you been? It’s been quite awhile since we last met, right?” 

I smiled sweetly at his warm greetings. “Yeah, it wasn’t even a pleasant meetup as well,” I laughed, “I was… good. I hope.” I whispered the ‘I hope’, forgetting that I was wearing my headset and the microphone was just lying closely by my mouth. 

Kyungsoo flashed his love-shaped smile a little, “you hope? Did Baekhyun make you sad again?” He turned around to look at Baekhyun and the latter stared back questionably. “Talking bad about you with our Sally,” Kyungsoo joked and Baekhyun pouted in disagreement, “ours? Sally’s mine, mine!” 

“Oh? Is it like that? Since when?” I asked teasingly and Baekhyun glared at Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo was sensible enough to not continue demanding for an answer from me and instead, he backed away from Baekhyun’s laptop to stand beside Jongdae. Baekhyun chased all of them out of his room and locked the door, rumbling softly. He made sure he locked his room door before he came back to his desk to continue where we dropped off. 

“,” I laughed. 

“Didn’t you just say you don’t know me?” Baby’s angry. 

“Petty. I’m yours, . Forever yours.” I waited for a response that didn’t came and I had to continue comforting his injured pride, “ah, I know, I know. I will never say anything like that again. Sally Jia is Byun Baek Hyun’s private property. Okay?” 

He finally looked at me with a displeased pout. “Depends on your performance. Hmmph.” 

“I will move in with you.” Ignoring his reply, I said. He looked at me again, finally. “Serious?” I nodded my head, “confirmed.” He hid his smile, “fine, then. I will forgive you this time.” 

“I wanna hug you so bad right now.” I confessed and I saw his finally brightened face turned grey again. “Hey, don’t sulk.” I pouted with a smile. I felt like a mom babying her son but I was more than willing to do so if it meant I could make my big little boy happier. “Baekhyun-ah, can we facetime instead…” I suggested. I wanted to lie down instead of sitting in front of my study desk. I, of course wanted to secretly sleep while talking to him as well. Heh. 

As soon as I finished saying it, Baekhyun had already held his phone up while munching on some snacks and I heard my facetime tone rang subsequently in a split second. “Ehehehehe,” I heard my favourite retarded laugh of all times the moment I connected the call. I told him to wait and I got up to turn off the lights and hopped onto my bed. Right when I was almost going to snuggle under my duvet, Baekhyun’s voice rang from my phone’s speaker. 

“Baby, you haven’t kissed Jesper goodnight.” Immediately pausing my actions, I heard his soft chuckle, I did forget but I was too lazy to get off my cozy bed, too. I sulked at the thought as I pouted. “Get your to his room now, lazybum. I wanna see my little boy.” 
“Fine.” I said and I solemnly climbed down the bed and walked to the door. 

Sometimes I really wonder how Baekhyun could change so fast like a whirlwind. He could be a little kid this second and the next he would be the most dependable man on earth. He could be all crabby and grumpy two seconds ago and two seconds later he would be the sweetest man on earth. 

I knocked very gently before I entered my little boy’s room. Quietly creeping in, I placed the phone somewhere on the nightstand leaning against the little bed lamp so it was a clear view of Jesper before I sat on the side of the bed. I pulled the sheets up for that baby and lowered down to give him a kiss on his forehead.
