"Anything you say." I answered.

Jesper ran out of the living room the moment he finished drinking his antibiotics. Probably to get his Lala bear from the room. Baekhyun was still on the sofa on his phone as I went to the toilet.

menstruation. Why do girls need to bleed every ing month. I thought to myself, fairly annoyed. It was my first day and well, now it made sense why all my emotions last night were dilated and multiplied.

I came out of the bathroom and went to my room almost immediately. Jesper had gone back to the living room to disturb his father. I let out a small sigh as I entered the room and quickly changed into something comfortable, throwing myself on the bed. Having period always made me feel extra tired and sleep deprived.

Even so, no matter how hard I tried to sleep, I just couldn’t. I was half awake due to the sharp pain in my lower abdomen eighty percent of the time. I was pretty sure at some points when I was really sick of the pain I whimpered. I toasted around as I tried to find the best position that would ease the pain.

“Sally, Jesper wants his storybook, is it with you?” I could barely even hear him. Not long after, he came into the room on his own after knocking a few times with no response.

I felt a warm hand on my forehead before I heard his voice, “You okay? Are you sick?” I didn’t answer.

“You’re sweating…” he wiped off the cold sweat on my forehead with his finger before he took the tissue and dabbed on the remaining of dripping sweat on my face.

My eyes were still tightly shut as I breathed a little heavily through the cramps. My frown deepened when the cramps hit again. My legs curled up to my chest with my lips plastered together.

“Hey, hey. Are you okay? Are you in pain?” the man said as his hand was soothingly circling my back.

I opened my eyes a little as my uterine stop contracting for a minute. I saw a worried look on the man’s face as my blurred vision became clear. “Nah. Period…” I managed and smiled palely.

“Ah… Period cramps,” he said and I nodded, “do you need any hot packs? Or warm drinks?” he asked as he was getting up already. I shook my head and pulled his wrist. “It’s okay. Just let me rest for awhile…”

“Then, I’ll stay here with you.” he said.

“Jesper…?” I asked.

“He can settle himself in the living room. Mother before son.” he shrugged. I was going to say something when he continued, “The doors are locked, anyways. Just sleep.”

I gave in and nodded my head before closing my eyes. I felt a dip in the bed and I knew he was sitting at the unoccupied side of the bed. He gently tilted my body so my back was facing him as he slowly massaged my lower waist. His palms were so warm and comforting to my liking at this moment. The pain faded away slowly and I soon dozed off.

I woke up feeling a little warm. It didn’t take me long to finally notice I was covered in blanket and Baekhyun wasn’t in the room anymore.

The two figures were on the sofa watching pororo in the living room as I walked in. I sat down beside Jesper to join them. “Ah, you woke up?” Baekhyun greeted with a smile and Jesper got up to hug me. I gave him a peck on his forehead before he sat back down to watch his cartoon.

Nothing had ever felt as relaxing as this moment. I almost wished time had stopped right now.

Good times always passed in the blink of an eye. Jesper and I were already at the airport’s lobby entrance.

Mr. and Mrs. Byun drove us to the airport with Baekhyun tagging along, of course. No matter where we were, it was still in Korea, Baekhyun would be recognized regardless if he hadn’t disguised himself. Mr. Byun was the one who helped us with the luggage as Baekhyun was still not permitted to do anything heavy. They wanted to send us off even further but judging that it might cause a certain degree of hassle if anybody recognized Baekhyun, I didn't agree with the idea, furthermore he was with his parents. Exposing his family members to the media was what he had yet to agree with.

With the hazard lights on, Mr. Byun stopped the car a little further away from the entrance at the drop off lane. The whole Byun family got down from the car.

I was pulling my luggage onto the pavement when I turned to realize Baekhyun was staring at me with an unreadable expression. I let my luggage stand on its own and took Jesper up in my arms and let him hug the man in front of him one last time. I pulled him back into my arms and put him down on the floor before his tears started to roll down and refused to let Baekhyun go.

As the four-year-old was heading over to hug his grandparents, I got up and looked back into Baekhyun’s eyes.

The earth stopped spinning again. None of us made a move until I looked away to the side. He came closer to me deliberately. When he was just a step away from me, he stopped and flashed me a simper. A total different smile he showed in front of cameras. I returned him a wide grin while looking up to take one last glance of his sharp and attractive features. I stretched my hand out to touch his flawless bare face that looked beautiful even without any makeup on.

When my hand fell on his cheek, he cupped my hand and took my hand into his before putting it down and cupped my cheek instead with his other hand. “Remember to dry your hair every time after washing. Remember to eat well. Remember to sleep well. Remember to greet your mom for me. Remember to tell me how you’re doing everyday. Remember to tell me if there’s anything bothering you. Remember to miss me at least once a day.” he said.
