Chorong sat in her room staring at the wall blankly. She didn’t know what to do. She finished editing her videos for that Friday already, which was rare as she would normally only finish on Thursday and it is only Wednesday now. To be exact, it’s nearing midnight. Added to that, she couldn’t sleep.

The house was quiet as Naeun is still not back from work and Bomi will be staying with Hoya at a hotel near their grandfather’s house.

The mood in the house was totally dead.

Chorong stressed herself out. She was so concentrated on her work for the past few days, particularly because of him. That bastard. The thought that he would be the one working with her just makes her so mad.

Why the hell is he calling….

“Yes jerk? Why are you calling me at 12am? Don’t you have work to do? I’m very busy do you know that? Now everything is messed up because of you. Stupid project.” She was just annoyed at everything at that time. She didn’t know why, but she felt so done with everything.

“Hol’ up gurl, I, firstly, finished my work. Secondly, I am bored so I’m calling you. I thought that you were done with everything. Lastly, I’m no jerk.”

Chorong didn’t say anything after she let out a sigh. She vented her frustrations on Woohyun. Not on purpose. She can’t predict herself at times. She wasn’t in the mood for anything.

“Hey. What’s up with you?” He felt something wrong. She does not act like this normally. “Park Chorong…” He said in a softer tone, waiting and hoping for her answer in any way. But he couldn’t hear anything.

“You don’t want to do the project?-”

She hung up the call. Tears started to roll down her cheeks. Maybe because of the stress she put on herself, or because the old memories that came flowing back, which hurt her deeply till now.

She hugged herself on her bed, crying to her heart’s content.

Woohyun called her again but she did not pick up. Don’t tell me something happened to her.

He rushed to her house, which was just next door. “Park Chorong!!!” He shouted from outside and knocked the door continuously. “YA!! Park Chorong!!” He banged the door louder this time. He was really worried. Worried that something might happen.

Chorong could recognize Woohyun’s voice from her room. She looked out of her window and saw that Woohyun was indeed downstairs, not that she didn’t expect that.

She didn’t want to go down, she didn’t want to meet him. But her inner kindness was still there even if she’s angry. She don’t like both
