Dong Wook drops his phone on the floor from shock and immediately drives to Ji Hyo’s house.

• Calm down Ji-hoon ah, let’s go outside and smoke a cigarette first. It’s no use talking to her any way. – the driver says while pulling the angry Ji-hoon outside

“Dong Wook ah, please come quickly” – Ji Hyo prays

Outside the building, Dong Wook and the rescue team already arrived and hiding in a blind spot to observe the situation.

• If we all go in right now, the kidnappers can be panic and hurt Seong-im ssi. We should just send one person in to observe the situation inside the building first. – The team captain says.
• Please let me go – Dong Wook says
• I can’t. It is too dangerous for you to go in. If anything happens to you, I don’t know how to face your father.
• Please don’t worry about me. I was in military before too and I got trained for situation like this. Please let me go. Ji Hyo must be very scared in there. – Dong Wook determines

Dong Wook runs around the building and check every single rooms but Ji Hyo is nowhere to be found until he reachs to the end of the hallway. Ji Hyo is tied alone inside the room. Dong Wook carefully observe the surrounded area before walking in. Ji Hyo is supper happy seeing Dong Wook approaching her. She is about to scream out his name but Dong Wook signals her to be quiet.

• Are you ok? – Dong Wook whispers while untying Ji Hyo.
• I’m ok. I’m so glad you are here Dong Wook ah. – Ji Hyo cries out of happiness and hugs Dong Wook tightly.
• I’m glad you are ok too. Now we have to get out of here quickly and quietly. Hold my hand tightly and run as fast possible ok? – Dong Wook softly says

• Let’s go. One two three, run. – Dong Wook says while holding tightly on Ji Hyo’s hand and runs cross the dark hall way.

A flashback suddenly comes to Ji Hyo’s mind. A boy was holding her hand and running through a dark alley as well. She was like 5 or 6 years old at that time and that boy, that boy is Dong Wook. She remembers it now. 28 years ago, just like today, they were escaping together from that tragic incident. That boy, her first love, it’s him, Lee Dong Wook. A gunshot suddenly pulls Ji Hyo back to reality.

• Where you think you are going? – Ji-hoon yells with the gun on his hand.
• Ju Ji-hoon? – Dong Wook says while pulling Ji Hyo behind his back. – You are the one behind this? Are you a criminal now?
• It was you who destroyed my career and made me a criminal – Ji-hoon screams at Dong Wook.
• Put your gun down and then talk. Just let Ji Hyo go and I will be your hostage. – Dong Wook says.
• Don’t do it Dong Wook ah. You will be in dangerous. – Ji Hyo worriedly says
• Aww. You two lover birds are caring so much about each other. How sweet – Ji-hoon says with a sarcastic voice – how about I just keep both of you and double the ransom. I know Dong Wook ssi is from a wealthy family too.
• Stop dreaming, we are not going to pay you even a penny. An army is waiting for you out there. You better let us go or we won’t ensure your safety. – Dong Wook screams.
• What happened Ji-hoon? – The driver appears and distracts Ji-hoon from the conversation. Dong Wook takes the opportunity and shots Ji-hoon in the legs.
• Let’s run Ji Hyo. – Dong Wook yells and pulls Ji Hyo who is still shock from the loud gunshot away.
• I won’t let you go that easy. – Ji-hoon screams and fires another gunshot. The bullet is heading straight to Ji Hyo direction. Dong Wook sees it coming and uses his body to cover Ji Hyo. “ Run, Ji Hyo, run” – Dong Wook mumbles before collapsing to the ground with blood flowing out nonstop from his chest.
• Dong Wook ah, what’s wrong Dong Wook ah? Are you ok Dong Wook ah? – Ji Hyo cries while using her hand to cover his wound. – Stay with me Dong Wook ah, stay with me – JI Hyo keeps saying in tears seeing Dong Wook is about to pass out.
• I love you Ji Hyo ah. – Dong Wook whispers before passing out.
• Dong Wook, wake up Dong Wook ah! Wake up! Don’t sleep Dong Wook ah!. – Ji Hyo devastated screams in tears while hugging tightly on Dong Wook’s body.

The Special Force rushes in after hearing the gun shot. They quickly capture Ju Ji-hoon and the driver and carry Dong Wook to the ambulance.

• Dong Wook ah, please be ok Dong Wook ah. Please don’t leave me Dong Wook ah. – Ji Hyo keeps saying and holding tightly on the unconscious Dong Wook’s hands all the way to the hospital.
• Please wait out here! – The doctor tells Ji Hyo after pushing Dong Wook to the operation room.
• How is he? – Dong Wook’s parents and Ji Hyo’s father urgently asks seeing Ji Hyo crying in front of the operation room by herself.
• He got shot appa. It was all my fault. He tried to protect me. What can I do appa? What can I do? – Ji Hyo screams in tears and suddenly faints on the floor.
