***The following day***

“Uwah~” Hyoyeon let out a yawn as she stretched her hands up in the air. She glanced at the window, the sun was shining brightly, the zephyr made the trees’ leaves dance along with it. The birds are happily chirping and flying around the big city.

“Good morning~” Hyoyeon happily exclaimed. She ecstatically stood up from her bed and tossed the blanket away from her. She skipped her way towards the bathroom to freshen up.

When she went out from the bathroom, she heaved out a sigh and smiled. Suddenly, a knock can be heard.

“Who could it be? “ she mumbled to herself wondering who would visit her at a time like this. She made her way to the door and took a peek at the peephole.

“Sunny?” she thought. She unlocked the door and she guessed right, it was Sunny.

“Good morning Hyoyeon-ah! Did you have fun last night? I’m sorry for ditching—I mean I’m sorry for leaving you out there...with Eunhyuk.” Sunny’s last words were incoherent. Hyoyeon raised an eyebrow. “Yah! You could’ve at least told us that you were back here so we didn’t have to wait there.”

“But didn’t you have fun? I mean... was Eunhyuk a boring company?”

Hyoyeon didn’t bother to answer her question. She tried to change the subject, “So, what’s our agenda for the day?”

“Uh...Oh...” was the only word Sunny can reply, but her face lit up a smile, “We’re gonna go do some treasure hunting.” Yuri butted in as she waved her hands wanting to get the attention of the others.

“YOU!” Hyoyeon gritted her teeth as she clenched her fist and marched her ways towards Yuri.

“Wh-what? Me?” Yuri stuttered as she stopped walking her tracks as well as the others.

“Oh, not you really, maybe there’s another Yuri around.” Hyoyeon scoffed and glared at Yuri.

“But, what did I do—I mean what did we do?”

“You all said that this will be our trip but you all had stupid and lame excuses. I can’t believe you guys.” Hyoyeon said a little disappointed.

“Look we’re all here now right? So don’t be sad and let’s have fun.” Yuri said as she placed her arms over Hyoyeon’s shoulders.

Hyoyeon glared at the girl who was beside her.

“You all better make up for what you did.” she said as they all went out.

They rode a yacht/boat to go to an island near the place where Sunny and the others had something in store for Eunhyuk and Hyoyeon.

“Who decided on going on a treasure hunt?” Eunhyuk asked as he eyed all his friends.

No one dared to look at him. Everyone was avoiding to have eye contact with him. They know that Eunhyuk doesn’t want to look for things but he had no choice because he was dragged by his friends. He’s not really fond of treasure hunts because he easily gets lost and that’s the whole point of why they decided on doing it.

“C’mon this is just a small island.” Shindong suddenly said as he stepped out of the boat and his feet touched the sand.

When they all got out Yoona and SIwon who were in charge of the treasure hunt gave the directions.

“Okay so first we’ll split up into pairs which we have already decided.” Yoona said as she looked at everyone.

Siwon then started stating the names of the pairs.

“I’m not really good in directions.” Eunhyuk whispered to Hyoyeon once they knew that they were partners.

“It’s alright I’ll take the lead.” she said as she smiled and listened to Siwon’s instructions.

“We will each give you maps it’s up to you to figure it out. We’ve hidden something in this island so whoever gets to it first would be really lucky.”

“Aren’t you going to tell us what it is?” Tiffany asked.

“It’s a surprise. It’s for us to know and for you to find out.” Yoona answered.

“Can’t you at least give us a hint?” asked Sungmin.

“Sorry no can do.” Siwon said.

“Alright then you all should start searching.” Yoona said as everyone went their separate ways.

“What now?” asked Yoona.

“They’ll come back once the two are far away from here.” he answered.

“Are we really going to leave them here?” she asked worriedly.

“We won’t really leave them since we’ll come back for them tomorrow and we’ll make it look like they just got lost.”

“Is the place set up?”

“Kangin, Hangeng and Kibum had prepared the place where they can stay. Don’t worry too much. We planned this so nothing can go wrong.” he assured her.

After a while the others came back and they sailed back. Their plan was to actually leave Eunhyuk and Hyoyeon in the island and they made sure that it’d look like they just got lost. They prepared a place where they can stay as well. Of course they made sure that the place was safe.

“Are you sure this is the right way?” Eunhyuk asked for the nth time.

“I’m positive don’t worry too much. I’m sure we’ll get to the treasure first.” Hyoyeon said with so much confidence.

“I think we’re lost.” Eunhyuk said as he stopped on his tracks and sat on a rock. He got tired of walking and walking.

“C’mon the we’re almost near the x-mark.” she said as she continued to walk.

Eunhyuk abruptly stood up and followed her.

It was already getting dark and they still haven’t found the treasure yet. Little did they know that they were tricked and they’re just going around in circles.

“Let’s just give up and go back. I’m sure the others are there already.” he suggested.

“Fine.” she gave up and they made their way back.

Since it was a little bit dark they couldn’t see the path they had gone through.

“I think it’s much safer if we look for a place to stay then to wander around in the dark. We’ll get more lost that way.” Hyoyeon stated.

They tried to look for a place and luckily they found a small cottage. They went inside and checked the place.

It was just a small place – it had one room, a dirty kitchen and a small living room. Good thing there was light and water in the place.

They were sitting on the sofa and it was awfully quiet.

“Sorry we got lost.” Hyoyeon said.

‘It’s alright.” Eunhyuk answered back.

“I just got into the treasure hunting so much.”

“You really did.” he teased.

It suddenly started to rain.

“Great even the weather isn’t on our side. Once I see them tomorrow they’ll get it from me.” Eunhyuk said as he sighed in frustration.

“You got any food there?” she asked to change the topic.

“I have noodles in my bag.” he said as he took out the packed noodles he had.

After around 15-20 minutes the noodles was done and they started eating.

“There’s something good about what happened today.” Hyoyeon said.

Eunhyuk looked up at her with a weird expression. He was thinking what’s good about them being lost.

“It’s like they made this all happen so that we can hang out.” she then laughed.

“Are you saying that they’re trying to hook us up? And all of this is just part of their scheme?” Eunhyuk said as he laughed at the idea. He trusted his friends and he never once thought that they can do something like that. Poor him if only he knew.

“Are you sleepy already?” Eunhyuk asked as they made their way to the room.

“I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep.” she answered as she sat on the bed.

“Then we can talk first.” he said enthusiastically. He didn’t know why but he didn’t feel a single hint of drowsiness.

“I guess that would do.” she said as she patted the space beside her signaling him to sit down.

They were both sitting on the bed with their heads resting on the headboard.

At first they just talked about random stuffs until their conversation got a little serious.

“Have you found someone who will adopt Ha Eun yet?” he asked.

“Not yet but I get this feeling that I wish no one would adopt her.” she stated.

“Then just adopt her.”

“It’s not that easy. They have to interview me and look at my background. Of course they have to make sure that the family she’ll end up with is a good one.”

“You seem to be attached to her.”

“I guess so maybe it’s because I don’t want her to suffer the same fate as mine.”

“I’m sure she won’t.” he said with a smile.

“You know what? At first I thought you were really obnoxious and a jerk but you’re the total opposite and nice yet dorky guy.”

“Thanks I guess.” he joked.

The mood started to lighten as they teased each other. Suddenly Eunhyuk felt Hyoyeon’s head drop on his shoulders. He looked to his side and saw her sleeping face.

“I think I’m falling for you Kim Hyoyeon.” he thought as he smiled at her peaceful state. He soon fell asleep with his head on top of hers.

Meanwhile…

“Appa it’s rare to see you here.” Doojoon said as he moved towards his dad.

“I have something to tell you my son.” he started.

“What?!” Doojoon exclaimed. He didn’t know what and how to react. “Does umma know about this?”

“I already told her and she gave me permission to look for her.”

“How can you be sure that she’s still alive? And why look for her now after all this years?”

“I learned that she bore my child.”

Doojon got more shocked after hearing that.

“So you’re going to look for her?”

His dad just nodded.

~sorry for updating just now... I've been busy with school that I hardly had time to update anyway hope you like this... I just had my midterms this week and I hope I pass... I still have 3 exams left though... anyway please do leave comments ^^ and thank you for not unsibscribing even if I took long enough to update ^^
