The week passed by quickly and it was the last day of December and the next day would be another year. They all met at Eunhyuk’s house and for the first time after a long time Eunhyuk’s parents were there.

“Nice to see everyone here.” Mrs. Lee said as she greeted them.

They all bowed as a sign of respect. “I guess I’ll leave you kids alone now. Happy New Year.” Mrs. Lee said as she went inside.

“Where is Hyoyeon unnie? Hasn’t she been invited?” asked Seohyun to no one in particular.

When Eunhyuk heard that he smacked his face with his palms. He knew he had forgotten something when they were together a week ago. “Crap I forgot to ask her.” he said as he took out his phone and dialed her number.

“It’s alright I told her.” Doojoon butted in. Eunhyuk didn’t call her anymore. “Is she coming?” he asked.

“Yeah but she’ll be a little late since she said that she was still doing her work. Apparently she can’t leave it.” Yoseob butted in.

“Okay.”

“Aish oppa out of all people why did you forget Hyoyeon.” said Taeyeon, she was the second closest to her. “And I thought you like her.” added Seohyun. Eunhyk spitted out his drink.

“Ewww.” said some of the girls. “Bro take it easy.” said Donghae as he handed him a tissue.

“I never said I like her.” he defended. Doojoon just looked at his friend and he can sense that he does have feelings for her. “Should I be affected?” he thought to himself.

Before Hyoyeon went to Eunhyuk’s house she dropped by the orphanage to greet all of them and to give the fruits she had just brought. She spent some time with Ha Eun too. After that she went to Eunhyuk’s place.

“Sorry I’m late.” she said as she bowed down. “Unnie.” said Seohyun as she gave her a hug.

They grilled meat outside while the others were busy preparing the table. Some were singing and the others were dancing to the songs. They had alcohol drinks but not too many just the right amount of bottles since not all of them are drinkers. Hyoyeon was busy chatting with the girls. She was happy to be able to be with them again.

“Sorry I forgot to tell you. I was supposed to ask you but it slipped my mind.” Eunhyuk said as he approached Hyoyeon who was getting meat. “Sure it’s alright, Doojoon had informed me. Besides Taeyeon also texted me so it’s alright. No harm done.” she said as she went back to her seat.

They were all just chatting and waiting for 12 midnight to arrive.

They all stood up and they did a countdown…Hyoyeon stood beside Eunhyuk and Doojoon with Seohyun behind her together with Kyuhyun. They were just scattered standing up and facing the sky to wait for the fireworks.

10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

They all greeted each other and they lit their own fireworks and they all watched in awe. The way the different lights shine in the dark sky and the way it lights it up were really amazing. The fireworks were really beautiful but two guys were focused on only one person.

After the little fireworks display they ate again.

“By the way I already had the name for the baby. And she’s actually a girl.” said Hyoyeon.

“Jinja? I thought she was a boy. What name did you give her?” he asked.
“Ha Eun.” she answered as she smiled. “That’s a cute name.”

“What baby are you talking about?” asked Sooyoung who overheard their conversation. All of them looked towards were they were. “Woah something happened between the two of you?” asked Kangin.

“You’re talking about baby’s already.” said Leeteuk. “What? and I thought you said you don’t like her?” Sunny said. Hyoyeon looked at Sunny confused while Eunhyuk gave her a death glare.

“Guys, don’t jump to conclusion. Maybe they are still planning.” said Yuri.

“Guys don’t misunderstand. A baby was left in the orphanage and I just gave her a name. If you want you can confirm it with Doojoon.” she explained as she pointed to Doojoon. Everyone looked at Doojoon and he nodded.

“Can we go and visit?” asked Yoseob he was also fond of babies. “Sure why not?”

They enjoyed for a little longer and it was already around 2 in the morning when they started to clean up. Eunhyuk said that the maids can do it but they insisted on doing it. The guys were in charge of all the trash and the girls were in charge of cleaning the table.

Hyoyeon took the plates to bring to the kitchen so that Yoona and Sooyoung can wash it but the door was closed. Eunhyuk saw her and so he approached her and opened the door. “Thanks.” she said before going ahead.

Hyoyeon went back to the backyard and helped the others. After a while they sat down and some went inside.

“Happy New Year.” greeted Doojoon who sat beside her. The others left outside were busy chatting. Hyoyeon greeted back with a smile.

“Do you have uhm any…” Doojoon started he can’t seem to find the right words to say. Hyoyeon found that cute. She waited for what he was about to say but before he could mutter anything someone called them and they looked over.

“We’re going ahead.” said Junhyung with the other BEAST members behind him. “I think you just ruined their moment hyung.” Dongwoon said as he looked at the two.

“What moment are you talking about? They’re just talking.” Hyunseung stated the obvious.

“Yoseobbie can I go home with you since we live on the same apartment building.”

“Sure noona.” he said with a smile. Then Hyoyeon turned back to Doojoon. “What were you saying earlier?” Doojoon took a glance of her and his surroundings and he can see that his friends were also anticipating what he has to say. “Never mind I was just gonna ask how you’ll go home.” he lied.

“I see well then let’s say goodbye to the others.” she said as she stood up and went inside were almost everyone was.

“It’s alright you still have next time.” Gikwang said as he patted his shoulders.

“Want me to take you home?” asked Eunhyuk. “It’s alright I can go with Yoseob since we live in the same apartment building.” she answered.

“Okay take care. Happy New Year. Are you going to visit Ha Eun tomorrow?” he said.

“Maybe, I’m not sure yet since I dropped by before I went here. Why? Will you go and visit her?” she asked.

“I want to see her.” butted Sunny. “Then let’s all go tomorrow.” Hyoyeon beamed a smile.

Sunny then went to the others and told them but she has something in mind in which she huddled the others and said her plan.

“Okay then see you.” Eunhyuk said

“Noona c’mon.” said Yoseob who was waving at her in the front door. Hyoyeon bid goodbye to the others and they headed home.

~this will be my first chapter for the start of 2012 :p anyway sorry for the lame chapter I promise to make it up in the next chapter... wonder what Sunny is planning keke :p
