She grew up in the orphanage but now that she's old enough to live by herself she decided to leave and start a new life. She grew up never wanting nor waiting for her parents to look for her. It was a rainy day when she bid goodbye to the people who took care of her and the people she grew up with and got attached to. After saying her goodbyes she left the orphanage without anything and she had no idea where she would be headed. She strolled the cold street all alone.

"Aish Hyoyeon where will you go now? Why did you leave without even having a place to stay." said the girl while wandering the dark alley.

She sensed footsteps following her. She was beginning to get scared since it was getting nearer and nearer but she remained calm and never showed any sign of fear. She got out of the dark alley so she was now on a busy street with lots of people. She looked back only to lock eyes with a handsome guy. She was mesmerized by his eyes that she didn't notice she was staring too long until he spoke up.

"Are you going to stare at me all night?" he asked.

She got back to her senses.

"Why are you following me? What do you want?" she asked without even breathing.

"Don't get the wrong idea here. I was walking when I saw you enter the dark alley and a drunkard was following you so I quietly followed and talked to the man." he said with a smirk plastered on his face.

"How will I know that you're telling the truth?" she asked.

"Come with me." he said and started to walk.

Hyoyeon had doubts what if there was someone waiting for them and they would suddenly get her and do something bad. But on the other hand she also had a feeling that she could trust him so she decided to follow. They went back to the dark alley and there she saw a guy who had a bruised body and a swollen face.

"Why did you help me?" she asked.

"Well my conscience will bother me if something happened to you."

"Well thank you." she said then started to walk away.

"Wait! Allow me to take you home." he insisted.

"No need. Thank you." she said as she went ahead.

The guy just stared at her retreating figure. He didn't know why but he was somehow attached to her like he had known her before. When he wasn't able to see her silhouette he went to his car and started it and went on to the busy road. The stoplight turned red and so his eyes wandered the busy street and there he saw a familiar face. A smirk suddenly crept up on his face. He parked the car in front of her. She suddenly looked up and locked eyes with those same mesmerizing eyes she saw earlier.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I uh... I just decided to rest for a while before going home." she answered with her head down. She didn't want to look at him because he might see right through her that she was lying.

"Weren't you scared of what happened to you earlier?"

"Not at all." she answered as she stood up.

"Maybe you should let me take you home. I think its fate that I saw you again."

"Thank you but I don't take rides from strangers."

"I won't do anything bad to you if that's what you're thinking. My intention is to help and that's all." he said as he smiled.

Hyoyeon can see that he was really sincere but she doesn't have a place to stay. The guy saw that she was looking at him.
