When the lift doors closed, Jinki reached behind his head and pulled up his hood. That, in addition to the cap that he was already wearing, made sure that his face could not be seen clearly.  “Oppa, is manager oppa waiting for you downstairs?” You asked.

“Nope.”

“No?” You gave him a puzzled look. “Did you drive here on your own then?”

He gave you a secretive smile. “Nope. You’ll see.”

You chuckled when you saw his expression. He looked so happy to be keeping a secret from you that his eyes disappeared behind his smile.

“Ok, let’s go, Minhyukkie!” He said excitedly when the lift doors opened on the ground floor. He actually seemed more of a kid than Minhyuk, if that was possible.

You were quite wary when you stepped out of the building that you were staying, half-expecting to see fans secretly stalking Jinki but the said person just confidently headed down the alley with Minhyuk in his arms. You stood there for a bit just looking around and when nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary, you quickly strode forward to join Jinki.

“Oppa, are you sure we’re going the right way? The main road is in the other direction.” You tugged gently on the sleeve of his hoodie.

“Mm-hmm, just follow me.”

He continued walking down the street and took a sharp turn into one of the smaller streets before stopping quite abruptly beside one of the many cars that were parked along the side of the street. “We’re here!” He announced happily. “Here, you take Minhyukkie. I’ll handle the bags, just put them on the sidewalk.” Just then, tall guy wearing a white tank top and grey track pants stepped out from the driver’s side of the car.

“Need my help?” He asked, making Jinki poke his head back out from behind the car boot.

“Oh! Joon hyung, this is Lee -------. ------ah, this is Lee Joon.” He introduced.

You bowed slightly in his direction. “It’s nice to meet you. Are you an idol too?”

“You can say that. My group just had our debut not too long ago.” He grinned.

“Ah~” You nodded in understanding. “But why are you here though? Aren’t you afraid that your fans would stalk you?” You immediately remembered Jinki after the words left your mouth. “You too, oppa! You should quickly get into the car before someone recognises you!” You said, casting nervous glances around.

“Jinki-yah, you’re right. She is really funny.” Lee Joon chuckled before turning back to you and adding, “You shouldn’t worry too much. We took extra precautions just to make sure that we weren’t followed. It was quite an adventure actually.”

At this time, Jinki had already put everything into the boot and came to join the both of you. “Yup, today was an exciting day for us but let’s talk in the car, ok? We should get going before Kibum calls and nags.” He scrunched up his nose at the prospect of being nagged.

“Oppa, manager oppa knows that you’re doing this right? I don’t want you to get into trouble because of this.” You questioned.

“Relax, -------ah. Manager hyung knows about this. He even helped us get everything planned out nicely.” He assured.

“Yeah, their manager was the one who dropped him off at my dorm so that we could sneak out from there. There is just no way we could have snuck out from their dorm. They have far too many fans following them around. But as far as the fans are concerned, Jinki is still in their dorm resting at this very moment.” Lee Joon contributed.

“But what about your manager, Lee Joon-ssi?”

“I didn’t have any schedule today so he allowed me to go out. He just told me to stay away from crowded places and not to get caught by the fans. This is his car actually.” He tapped the steering wheel proudly.

“Don’t mind him. He just wants to claim all the credit for this.” Jinki waved his hand dismissively at Lee Joon.

“This?”

“Yeah, this! Helping you move was our mission. Well, it was my mission but I roped him in to be our driver.” Jinki playfully teased Lee Joon.

“But where exactly are we heading to now?” You pressed.

“Oh! We’re going ba-” Onew quickly reached out and covered Lee Joon’s mouth to prevent him from finishing what he was going to say.

“Ssshhh! Trust me. You really don’t want to spoil Kibum’s surprise.” Jinki warned, speaking obviously from experience, and gave one last warning look at Lee Joon before removing his hand.

“Oh right! I knew I was forgetting something. You have to put this on!” Jinki handed a blindfold over to you.

You took it but gave Jinki a slight pout. “Do I really have to? Can’t you just tell me where we’re going? I promise that I’ll act all surprised later. Please?” You tried to convince Jinki but he wasn’t going to give in.

“No thanks. Kibum reads you like a book. He’ll see through it in an instant and then I’ll be in trouble again.” He shivered a little and shook his head at the prospect of being nagged by Kibum.

Seeing that there was no way of getting out of the situation, you breathed a soft sigh before putting on the blindfold and hugging Minhyuk closer to you. “My Minnie is still the best.” You mumbled against his hair.

So.. I disappeared for like a week? And there are reasons for that. One being writer's block (like a HUGE case of it); two being that the Euro 2012 has officially started (MAJOR distraction for me since I usually do my writing at night and the matches are ALL in the night here); and three being that I've sick (YES! AGAIN!!!) Well, I don't know if I've actually recovered completely. It's always the same routine of feeling sick, going to the doc, taking meds, feeling fine for a couple of days, and then falling sick again. I've been to the doctor like 7 times already since like a month ago and I'm starting to think that I'm never going to be able to get my normal voice back. So yeah, I'm going to the doc again tomorrow, for like the 8th time, to get a blood test done so that I can finally determine the cause of my chronic illness =/

Anyhow, I finally got down to do some writing since I'm currently in the "feel better for a couple of days" period. So although it's rather short an update, I hope you will enjoy it~
