“-----ah, wake up. We’re here.” Junhyung gently tapped your hand that was still looped around his arm.

“Mmmm--?” You straightened in your seat while you rubbed the sleep from your eyes.

Junhyung chuckled and ruffled your hair, “Aigoo, come on, let’s go!” He tugged your wrist and led you off the bus.

It was already 9pm but you and Junhyung still had to get onto another bus in order to reach the small apartment that the both of you will be staying in. The rent in the city was just too expensive for either of you to afford.

When the both of you finally reached your new home, you quickly explored the place while Junhyung headed straight to the couch and plonked himself face down. There was one bedroom with an adjoining bathroom, a small kitchen and a living room. It was small but cosy.

You made your way to the sofa and sat at the edge. “Oppa! Are you hungry?” As if on cue, Junhyung’s stomach rumbled which caused him to bury his face further into the cushion he was hugging.

You laughed. “Arasso. Oppa, go and take a shower. I’ll go make some food.” You stood up and headed to the kitchen. Lucky I decided to pack some ramyun in my bag.

While you were waiting for the water to boil, you took out your handphone and called your mom.

“Hello, omma. Oppa and I have safely reached our house in Seoul already.”

“That’s good. How is the house? Are you tired? Is everything ok?” Your mom blurted out at once.

You laughed, “Omma, slow down! You’re asking too many questions at once! Anyway, the house is nice but it needs a little cleaning. I’m a little tired but I think oppa is more tired than I am. He’s taking a shower now but he’s hungry so I’m making ramyun for him. Don’t worry omma, I can manage things over here. It’s late, you should go to bed.”

“Ok, call me if you need anything. Good night sweetheart.”

“Good night omma! Have a good rest.”

Just when you were done with the ramyun, Junhyung walked out of the bathroom wearing the dark blue pajama set that you gave him for his birthday while towel drying his hair. “I heard voices. Did you call your mom?”

“Yup! I did promise to call her when we reached Seoul so she’d be worried if I didn’t. By the way, the pajamas looks good on you oppa!”

Junhyung raised his eyebrows, “Are you saying that because you bought it for me or is it the truth?”

You grinned and tapped your lips with your index finger. “Well….”

“Aish! Come here you-“ Junhyung grabbed you and started tickling you.

“Okok oppa! You honestly do look good in it.” You gasped and panted for air as he stopped tickling you.

You pouted and mumbled. “Mean oppa.”

Junhyung chuckled. “What was that?” He asked while advancing towards you again while wriggling his fingers.

“Nothing! Let’s eat before the ramyun gets cold!” You quickly grabbed his wrist and pulled him towards the table.

After sharing the ramyun, Junhyung offered to do the dishes so that you could take your turn to shower. When you came out of the bathroom, you saw that Junhyung was already sleeping as you could hear the soft snores coming from him. Poor oppa must have been really exhausted.

You chuckled silently before switching off the lights and getting into bed beside Junhyung. You slowly inched towards him, reaching you hands out to wrap around his arm and snuggled into him side like you always did when he slept over. Junhyung shifted slightly but settled back to slumber and it didn’t take you long to be consumed by sleep as well.
