Saturday came around fast enough and you could hardly contain your excitement. Not only would you be going to an amusement park for the first time, but it was also your birthday! You woke up before Junhyung as usual and showered before waking him up.

“Oppa, wake up.” You poked his cheek several times.

Junhyung groaned and mumbled something that you couldn’t make out before rolling onto his stomach and falling back asleep.

You pouted a little and poked him in his back this time. “Come on oppa. Aren’t you excited to be going to Lotte World?”

Junhyung turned his head to you and opened one eye to look at you, only to find you beaming at him excitedly. “How can you be so hyper in the morning?” Junhyung got up slowly and sat on his legs. His eyes were shut again.

You couldn’t help but laugh. “Today is different. We’re going to Lotte World today! Go get ready oppa! I’ll go make us some breakfast!” You bounced out of the bedroom and into the kitchen.

After having breakfast, you and Junhyung took the subway to Jamsil station. Soojin and Seyong were already at the entrance waiting for you and Junhyung by the time the both of you had reached.

“Unni! You’re early!” You waved at her while bowing slightly to Seyong.

“Yup, we came early so that we could get the tickets first.” She explained. You nodded, remembering that she had texted you saying that the tickets for you and Junhyung was to be your birthday present.

“Alright, come on! Let’s go in!” You exclaimed excitedly. You took Junhyung’s hand and pulled him through the gates.

You and Junhyung continued holding hands even after the both of you had split from Soojin and Seyong. Apparently, having fun and spending quality time with Junhyung was also part of your birthday present. Somehow, Soojin managed to figure out that you liked Junhyung. Although you never once confirmed it, you knew that that was her reason for leaving Junhyung and you alone. Not that you were complaining though. You were extremely happy to be able to have fun with Junhyung.

“Oppa, which ride should we go on first?”

He shrugged. “I’m ok with any ride. I’ll let you decide.”

“You’re letting me decide just because it’s today right?” You flashed him a knowing look. When Junhyung just responded with a confused look, you chuckled. “Oppa is a very good actor.” You clapped and walked to the ride that caught your eye, leaving a truly clueless Junhyung standing there.

Junhyung eventually snapped out of his daze and joined you in the queue. He didn’t bother to ask you what you had meant earlier and thought that you were just being playful. The both of you were in the queue for a roller coaster and you could barely contain your excitement. You had always wanted to ride one and you were going to in a few moments as you were already at the front of the queue.

When the roller coaster came to a stop and the existing riders got off, you and Junhyung quickly got to your seats and buckled up. “Oppa, are you excited? We’re going to seat our first roller coaster together!” You looked over and asked.

Junhyung gave you a small smile. “Yeah, I guess.”

You frowned for a second, worried that Junhyung wasn’t enjoying himself, but brushed away the thought. He must be nervous. “Don’t worry oppa!” You smiled at him then reached out and took his hand in yours just as the ride began.
