Amber POV:

Scrunting her eyebrows, Amber tilted her head. "Wait gege...what are you talking about?" she asked, the anger and worry etched in his face heightening her own anxiousness. Her geges jaw clenched and Amber could tell he avoided looking directly into her eyes, "Kris...Im talking about Kris" he whispered. Amber blinked her eyes, her mind connecting the scattered pieces and a blush erupted across her cheeks as she finally realized what he was talking about. "So y-you did find out?" she asked, fingers fumbling across her silk sleeves. 'How did he know Kris confessed to me?!' she thought, once again amazed by her geges abilities. "Never mind that Amber. I want to talk to you about him." her gege said, slowly taking her hands into his. He held her hands lightly, as if they would break and it reminded her of when he had first told her about her role as princess. "Gege...?" she whispered, gripping his hands firmer. She was stronger now than she was in the past, she believed that. Heck she had to be stronger, she ruled over a country! She was ready for anything.

"Li Kun just confessed that her and Kris are in a intimate relationship"

Except that.

Amber blinked once. Then again. Then once more. "W-what? Li Kun?" the words rushed out as her eyes widened. A small trinkle of worry entered her heart as the image of the Chinese beauty flashed in her mind. Due to her happiness from yesterday night, she had almost forgotten about her. But wait what? "What do you mean i-intimate relationship?" Amber asked, trying so hard to keep her voice from trembling and her mind from jumping into conclusions. Her gege sighned and returned his hands to each of her shoulders, holding her steady. "Exactly what the words mean is what I mean." he said softly yet firm, finally looking directly at her. Her eyes darted across his face, searching for something she didnt know is she wanted the answer to. But the squeeze of her heart wouldnt allow her to stay silent and the question slipped anyways, "And Kris?" she whispered, unable to keep herself from gripping her sleeves. Suddenly, the periwinkle on her robe didnt seem that bright to her anymore. "He...he kept denying it." gege said, a bitterness laced in his voice. She was about to let out a sigh of relif when her gege quickly snapped,

"But I think hes lying Amber". 

Her gege was a man of perception, he was hardely ever wrong. Amber trusted and held his opinion with high regard (after all, he was her Royal Advisor), so she couldnt help but feel the sense of uneassiness once again fill her by his words.

Even so, she wanted to believe in Kris.

She wanted to beleive in the blush she saw last night when he confessed to her. And most of all, she wanted to beleive in the love she had for him. "But, but why gege? Hes one of my bestfriends. He wouldnt hurt me like that." she said. Her gege let out an exasperated sigh, "Oh yea, what about when he hurt you when he ran off to a different country?" he retorted. Amber shook her head, "Gege, it was because he had no other choice and I forgive him for that! Besides, everyone deserves a second chance!". "Okay, fine, fine" he said, waving his hand in the air, "But then how can you be so sure that he loves you and not your status as a princess?". Ambers eyes widened, a small shock going through her body. She felt the grip on her heart grow tighter as the words echoed. She...she would never even think Kris capable of doing that to her. "What...?" she said, her voice low. "Ambie..." her gege began, taking her hands in his once again,

"Is it really just a coincedence that he confessed to you after he found out your a princess? And then theres Li Kun. You dont think theres any truth in what she confessed?"

he asked, his eyes filled with a silent plea for her to listen. Amber felt herself growing limp as she looked away from her older cousin. No, no, she couldnt be 100% sure and she probably never will be. How could she be when the only thing certain in life was death?

But still...she still wanted to believe. She didnt care if she was being stupid or naive. She was going to find out her self if she could be at least 99.9% sure in their feelings towards each other. And if Li Kun did play a role in their relationship, she wanted to be crystal clear on what exactly it was. A sudden burst of energy coursed through along with her new resolve. Gripping his hands tight, she looked into her geges eyes. 

"Im going find out myself gege. And if what you say is true, then I will never utter a word about Kris and me again. However...if what I think is true...then please give him an actual, honest chance"

she said, her voice unwavering. Her gege lifted up a brow and a small smile appeared on his face.

"Alright then Dianxia, you got yourself a deal."

Unfortunatly, finding Kris took a bit more time than usual but with the attendants directions, she eventually found out he was in his room. Just as she was about to walk in, her guma called her from behind. "Dianxia! There is some important news!" she called out, rushing over with a worried expression etched on her usually calm face. "Guma, what is it? Whats happening?" Amber asked. Her guma, while catching her breathe, said

"The villagers...they noticed some unusual activites going on down at the river on the west. There seems to be a boat docked that they arent familiar with".

Amber scruntched her eyebrows, 'A boat at the river?' she thought. The large river at the base of the mountain branched its way up and through the village. Even the pond within the palace was on of the rivers many branches. It was an essential part of the villagers daily lives as they often got food from it, used it to wash up, cook, and for trnasportation. They knew every single boat that went by, so the fact that there was a boat they didnt recognize definetly meant something. "Alright, tell Gege and a few guards to go down there and see what going on. " she said softly, not wanting to cause worry throughout the palace. Her guma nodded, then rushed off down the hallway, disappering around the corner. Amber sighned, knowing her talk with Kris would have to be shorter than she wanted now that her hands were once again full. But hey, whats a princess going to do? She hesitantly approched his door and was about to knock when she heard two distinct voices coming from inside. "Dont tell me it meant nothing to you Yi Fan!" a high pitched voice said. Amber hesitated, not wanting to eavesdrop but curiosity won out in the end. "All those touches, those words, those kisses...and you felt nothing at all!?" the voice practically shrieked. "Li Kun, it was nothing but acting. Im sorry." said a voice she would recognize like her own. 'Li Kun...and Kris are talking...in his room' Amber thought, feeling a slight ache in her chest. Yes, she was being a bit jelous right now, after all, only people who were close to each other allowed such things. 'But what they talking about? Their movie?' she thought, curiosity killing her once again as she pressed her ear to the door (goodness if anyone saw her now).

"Li Kun...Im in love with-"

All of a sudden, the steps of someone coming down the hallway caused Amber to snap back and away from the door as soon as possible. Pretending to admire a painting on the wall (that shes seens at least fifty times before), she waited for the attendant to pass with a clear blush on her face. A sudden thought popped in her head as she quickly turned her head towards the attendant. "Yumi! Come here!" she whispered, ushering the attendant over as quietly as she could. Confused as she should be, the attendant leaned in, "What is it Dianxia?".

 "I have some important matter to discuss with Kris Wu, can you tell him to come to my personal chambers alone within thirty minutes"

she said, trying to keep a straight face and not laugh out loud at the attendants shocked expression. "Y-yes Dianxia. I will inform him." she said, a small blush on her cheeks (who knows what she was thinking about). Amber gave her a slight nod, "Good" she said, as she walked away, heading towards her room. She felt a smile slip as she thought about her little plan. Everyones nickname for Yumi was PBS: Palace Brodcasting System. If you wanted news to get around, you just needed to tell Yumi. And Amber couldnt wait for the next days gossip.

Or the little meeting she was going to have with Kris later.

Amber was always the type to not back down without a fight. So the plan she had just developed was out of pure determination and the unwillingness to just sit there and wait. Even though she had little experince with love, her resources of Korean dramas and advice from her friends were endless.

Lets see if she could find out Kris true feelings for her.

The days paper arrived at the gates of the palace. Guard Bao picked up the stacks of paper filled with varoius news from not only Taiwan but the rest of the world. Bao handed the newspapers to another attendant who made sure to neatly place the pile on top of her princess' study table.

And on the front of the stack, printied in thick ink bolded letters were the words,

"Drug Trafficking on the High"

The sun was beginning to set as the orange of the sky bled through the clouds, reflecting against the rushing currents of the river. Behind a large bundle of vegitation, a man in dark clothing stood at the edge of the water, emptying a pouch of white powder into the river, watching the substance swirl then disappear.

Sorry it took so long to update guys :(

Im taking an intense summer course right now and its so much T^T

Ill have about a month off starting July 14 so you bet Ill be updating way more then!

Lately I seemed to be loosing a bit of my motivation for these Krisber stories...

It definetly has to do with the fact that Ambers been feeling really down lately.

Im really worried for her...

I wish I could do something more for her...

In conclusion: SM is stupid :p

I hope you guys can give me some encoragement ^^
