❝ W-what are you? ❞       Soohyun was about to speak but when the man outside made the first move to turn his back on them, and leave quietly, Soohyun stopped for a moment to watch. Together they saw the lad walked off the property.    "Who was that?" Soohyun asked.    Seungho breathed out of his nose heavily, "Soohyun, I need to ask of a favor from you."    "What is it?" Soohyun asked in a calm tone, though his eyes were still visible of his eagerness to learn the identity of the man from before.    "Seyeon. You may be dating her now, but I need her. And I need you to stay out of my business with her."    "But—"   "If you still like Gain, it's best if you end it with Seyeon and go back to her. As I told you before, the siren's kiss wasn't effective because I was not in the middle of transformation, but Jiyong is fully aware of it. He can use it anytime if he wishes to."    "Then....Can you teach me?"    "Teach you?"    "Yeah, do sirens has any weaknesses against humans?"    Seungho stopped for a moment to focus on Soohyun's question, then he answered bluntly. "There are none."    Soohyun groaned in disappointment, "Then I'm at a disadvantage....And that guy, your brother I mean, isn't even good looking....And he has the siren's kiss...."    Seungho just watched as Soohyun looked out the window helplessly.      "The gray dragon's destiny is blurry. One does not know whether he will become the white or black dragon. So if you meet him, you must not get close to him. He may be the black dragon, and if that happens it won't be good for you."    Gain was still seated beside Jiyong who was now slightly leaned forward and was lost in his own world. Jiyong rubbed his hands together slowly yet roughly. His mouth was curled to one side as his thoughts deepen.    While watching in silence, she was carefully examing his good looks. His side profile was sharp and flawless. Even his skin was milky white and looked smooth.    Finally Gain reached over and placed her hand on his cheek, making him look up at her in surprise. Instead of saying something, she smiled at him instead. He couldn't help but returned a smile.  Meanwhile Jongsuk and Joongki were occupied with keeping their eyes on the two women they believe to be theirs, only after a short meeting in a whole different room from the living space.    Seyeon had drag Jiyeon to one corner of the large room, in order to speak to her alone, but Jiyeon had her arms crossed over her chest and showed no interest.    "Listen, about earlier, I'm sure Seungho just did it to piss off your brother. So don't take it—"   Jiyeon scoffed as she ripped her arm from Seyeon's grasp, "Seungho kissed you to piss off my brother? Say something that would make sense, everyone knows my brother doesn't even like you."    "Jiyeon." Seyeon said with a heavy tone as she stared into Jiyeon's annoyed eyes.    "It doesn't matter anyway, Seungho already broke it off between us." Seyeon caught a glimpse of the two lad looking their way. Then she quickly looked away and back into Jiyeon's eyes. "He must of had a reason to act so recklessly in front of everyone, but you can't really believe that you two are over do you?"    Jiyeon sighed, "Don't you know him better than I do?"   "Then....Are you going to choose that guy over Seungho?"    "Which guy?"    Seyeon's eyes widen, "The only guy who's been staring at you since he first saw you?"    Jiyeon smirked a little, "How about you? Are you all about Seungho now? Or is it that guy who's been following you around too?"  "Jiyeon you—"   Jiyeon switched her position and weighed all of her weight onto her other leg, while letting out a heavy breath of air, "What the heck is going on Seyeon? What's all this sirens, dragons, stuff about?"    Seyeon was taken aback by her question, "What do you mean?"    "I mean what exactly are you and Seungho? And all of these people? And that lady that was staying at our place along with my brother?"    "We're all either mermaids, mermen, or water dragons...."    Jiyeon let out a breathy scoff, "You expect me to believe that? They're all just fairytales—"   "We are as real as it gets Jiyeon." Seyeon said through gritted teeth, "About Seungho, I don't want him to be the cause of our friendship being ruined or coming to an end. So listen carefully, to me, he's nothing more than one of my employees. Also, he will never be able to have my love, just like the love you gave him and the love I gave to your brother. So don't worry about us and just keep that in mind."   Seyeon said before leaving
