❝She's not yours to take.❞       The night grew older when Gain was lying under the covers in Soohyun's supposingly bed. Her mind traced back to the kiss she had received from Soohyun some time earlier.    She could still feel the pressure of his lips against hers. It was a foreign feeling.    Meanwhile Soohyun pulled a victorious fist toward himself. "Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!" He chant lowly to himself. Then he let out a relief sigh along with a smile.    Then he fell backward freely onto the couch and used his arms as a pillow, he giggled a little to himself when he thought back to the small incident from before.    "So this is what it feels like to kiss someone you like huh? Arf that felt great." He said with his signature wide smile.  In the locker room, Jiyeon was leaning against Seungho's shoulder as they sat together on the bench. "Seungho." Jiyeon uttered softly.    "Hm?"    "Let's get married." She said, "We've been together for two years, let's just get married."    Seungho waited for a moment to answer, "Let's wait." When Jiyeon didn't answer he continued, "Or why do you want to get married now?"    "Nevermind....Just let me...borrow your shoulder for a little longer." With that Jiyeon closed her eyes and leaned all of her weight onto Seungho's shoulder.      After taking Jiyeon home, it was around ten at night when Seungho walked through the front door. He spotted Soohyun lying on the couch, all curled up with a smile on his handsome face.    Seungho assumed something good happened as he went to look for Gain.    When he checked Soohyun's room, he saw the lass sitting up in bed. "You're back...?" Gain was the first to speak.    "Yeah."   Gain noticed how Seungho checked out her dress, how it wasn't the one he gave that she had on. "Ah....Soohyun bought me this and told me to try it on to see if it fits...."    "Have you eaten?" Seungho questioned instead throwing her off guard.    Gain was flustered by the question and even paranoid. Did Seungho know about their kiss? Will he kick her out if he knew? Would she have to move back to Soohyun's place and get hit by his sister again?    "Yes...."    After her answer, Seungho figured he should let her be alone as he turned his back to her.    "Wait," Seungho halted in his steps upon her call, "can I ask you something."    Seungho turned halfway around to face her, "I'm listening."    "Can we talk a little...?"    "About what?"   "You."    Seungho was confused as he looked into her big eyes, "What about me?"    "I just....Want to get to know you more....And to thank you...."    "For what?"    "That day. When I was going toward the sea and you came to me. Telling me it was dangerous."    "That was because I thought you were human—"   "Anyway," Gain cut him off, "it wasn't exactly our first meeting, but it was the first time you spoke to me and pay me any attention. After you left that day at the party, I thought you were just handsome with no attachments. You were Seunghyun after all...."    "Don't misunderstand. I'm only your finace because of the simple lie to bring you to shore."    "Still. I'm glad that I got to meet you here again."    Seungho took a step in as he shut the door behind him, "Why would you? Do you even know why you're here?"    Gain was surprised by his sudden action, "P-pardon?"    "If you have any idea why we're even in this room together, you wouldn't be saying that."    "W-why?"    "Because I hate your kind."    Something flickered in Gain's eyes. Seungho's comment came as unexpected. "Why?"    "Isn't it common for sirens of the Pacific and sirens of the Atlantic to hate one another?"    "But I don't hate you...."    "Good night Han Gain." With that Seungho stepped out and shut the door, leaving her with more to think about. Seungho leaned against the door as he sighed a little.    They took her in. You must hate them, yet become their Lord. 

When morning came, Seungho spot Soohyun setting up breakfast at the dining table with Gain already seated, on the single chair on the outside of the table's end. They quickly caught sight of his presence. 

"Oh Seungho, I went ahead and prepared some food since you weren't up yet, hope you don't mind." Soohyun started, while standing beside Gain.
