Why is he like that?" Gain asked.    Joongki had on a cunning smile, "So the Black Dragon King has been hiding this secret? Pretending to search for his mate all this time?" Though he was the one questioning, he was also the one wearing an amazed smirk. "So the sea's stongest creature is dead you said?"    Jiyong frowned, "Don't look down on us you mermen."    Joongki released a breathy scoff, "Oh we're not looking down on you dragons. Right now you're just pitiful creatures."    "Joongki that's enough." Gain stopped him, and immediately he kept his mouth shut. She looked straight toward Seungho, searching for his eyes, but he ignored hers.    After a few more seconds she made the first step, "We'll be leaving now then." With that she led Joongki and Jongsuk toward the door, as she opened the door she noticed Soohyun.    "Soohyun?"    "Where's Seungho?" Soohyun was too focused on Gain that he didn't even noticed the two men behind her, until he looked up a little. "What on earth? Who are you guys?"    "They're friends of mine." Gain started, "Why are you looking for Seungho?"    "Where are you going?" Soohyun asked her instead, "Are you leaving with these two guys?"    "Who are you?" Jongsuk asked calmly from behind Gain, because he was a lot taller, Soohyun could see him just fine.    "Why do you want to know?"    "Soohyun!"    Everyone froze and turned toward the sound that came from behind him, to his surprise, Seyeon was standing there. As she approached them, her darting eyes were on Gain.    "Where's Seungho?"    "Why are you two looking for him?" Gain asked again.    "I—" Seyeon cut Soohyun off from answering.    "I have some things to discuss with him and it's none of your concerns."    "Aren't you heiress of the Arctic sea, Lord Jin's daughter? The blue mermaid?" Joongki asked with uncertainty written all over his face. Seyeon noticed how Soohyun's wide eyes were on her, but she chose to ignore them in case he'd start questioning her.    "I asked you where is Seungho."    "Wait, Seyeon you...?" Soohyun was about to grab her arm.    "Han Gain! Aren't you going to tell me?" She raised her voice all of a sudden.    "I'm here."    The whole area grew silent as Seungho spoke from behind the crowd by the door. Jiyong was looking out the window to see Seyeon and Soohyun.    Jiyeon who was lying in bed heard Seyeon's yell and sat up. "Seyeon...?" She slowly got off the bed and opened the door, to see the people at the door making their way for Seungho.    Seungho stopped in front of Seyeon, ignoring the gaze of everyone's.    "You, how can you just leave earlier? I wasn't done talking to you."    "I wasn't done either." Seungho said in a low voice, then in front of everyone he carelessly pulled Seyeon in toward his body and landed a kiss against her lips.    Everyone's eyes widen immediately.    Six years ago, Jiyong and Seungho were sitting on a large rock. As they looked out into the sea, Jiyong was in the form of half water dragon and half human. From waist down, he had shiny grey scales and his tail were at least another eight feet long.    "Seungho." Jiyong started, earning a peek from Seungho as he turned his head a little toward his right shoulder. Just to give Jiyong a sign that he was listening to him.    "I know we're not blood brothers, but you know how dragons are. One day, either you or I will betray the other. If you betray me, I won't let you live a peaceful life on land."    Seungho wore a lopsided smile, "What do you mean by betray?"    "Like if you found another human to be best friends with, or you treat him like a real brother and forget about me. Or if you and I happen to fall for the same female creature."    Seungho let out a heavy breath of air as he looked out into the water's surface, "That won't happen, because you're bound to live for another thousand years."    "Right and you're not." Seungho could hear the sarcasm in his tone.    "You know what I meant Jiyong."    "Sure you weren't born to have as much as me, but you're still my foster
