I can't believe that Yixing paraphrased Keats' Endymion! "A thing of beauty, a joy for ever" Ok, I'll admit. That was pretty smooth what he did. No wonder J fell head over heels with him. Even I was moved watching him in action. And now that scene is stuck in my head! Curses!

Even worse, seeing how much of a smooth operator he is, there's a chance that they may date beyond 2 weeks, beyond a month! How many more double dates with that commoner do I have to endure? Groan.

Ding! "B! Thx 4 coming yesterday!" J messaged. Huh? She wasn't angry that I ticked off her boyfriend?

"Sure. So you are not mad at me? For what I said to Yixing?" 

"No babe! I'm so glad u asked all those questions! Good questions! Thx 4 looking out 4 me!" "If Yixing didn't hv 2 ans ur questions, I wouldn't hv known how he felt abt me. So thx!" 

"Cool. And u r not mad at me for leaving unannounced with Siwonnie either?"

"No babe. Thx 2 u, Yixing got so into me n we hd D BEST eva! Really a stud in bed as rumoured!" Ok eww, I do not have to know that!

"TMI" 

Incoming call from Jessica. I pick up.

"B! I had sucha great time last night with my baby! Yixing gave me multiple s and I came like never before!"

"J! Too much information! I really don't need to know about your life! Much less with Zhang Yixing involved!"

"But he's so goooood, B! I mean, he's got a hot bod and he's huge and all, I love how long and thick he is, but it's his moves..."

"Lalalalalala...not listening! Please don't gross me out with your sordid details, J! Please! I really don't need to know!" I quickly interject.

"But B! You are my bestie! I wanna share everything with you!"

"Well, even among best friends somethings should be kept secret ok?"

Every now and then J will regale me with intimate details about her ongoing dalliances. Sometimes I listen, often times I tune out. And when she gets too graphic, I usually asked to be spared the sordid details. I can never look at her date in the same way after her oversharing sessions. And I sure as hell, don't wanna have any mental imagery of her doing the deed with that plebeian Yixing. Eww.

"Ok, just one last sentence then... Yixing's fingers are magic, he eats me out so good and he s like a stallion with his dancer hips!" J rattles off quickly.

"J! I really didn't need to hear any of that!" J just burst into a fit of giggles.

It's break time and I'm sitting at the dining hall table, waiting for my minions to return with my lunch and feed me more of their findings on that sketchy Yixing. Siwon has tennis practice and J is dieting, so they are both not joining me for lunch. 

Suddenly Yixing plonks himself with his tray of food across from me. I almost didn't recognize him because he looks so different dressed in the uniform. He looks ... just like one of us? Oh, but his swatch watch is a dead giveaway. So not one of us! 

"Hey Bo!" He winks at me.

Why is this peasant talking to me? Why is he seated across from me! What does he want? 

"J is not joining me for lunch" I reply.

"I know. She said something about dieting. I told her it's unnecessary and reassured her that her body is already banging but she was so obsessed about maintaining her figure."

Ugh, he did not just objectify my bestie infront of me. So crass!

"What do you want then?" I ask coldly.

He stays silent and deliberates as he drums his fingers on the table and eyes me intently. I break eye contact and look at his fingers. For a guy, he has rather fine, slender fingers. Almost befitting of a hand model really. And I know exactly what qualifies for a good hand model as I've spent my last summer interning for my mom and casting hand models for her jewelry sub-line. His fingers continue drumming and suddenly I recall J's "Yixing's fingers are magic" confession. No! Get it out of my head! I'm not imagining Yixing anyone! Ah!!! Lalalalalala...

 "I want an apology?" he breaks his silence.

"What?!"

"Haha, I figure that would not fly by you! How about a truce then? J really want us to get along. Says something about how she wishes the two most important people in her life can be besties too. And how it'll be easier if I make the first peace offering as it'll be a lot harder to get you to acquiesce? Well, if it's so important to J, I thought I'll give it a try. So how about it Bo? Truce?" He extends his hand across the table for a handshake.

I ignore his outstretched hand.

"Okaaay, no handshake. How about ... a luscious peach in place of an olive branch then?" Suddenly he tosses a peach at me! Waah! I frantically make a grab for it! Phew! Catch it in time before it hits my face! Grrr...

I glare back at Yixing, ready to lash out at him but he's already munching at his peach. "Try it! It's reaaally sweet..." He slobbers as juices trickle down his chin and he wipes them up with his delicate fingers and them clean. He's... them rather...sensuously? And then I get a flashback of J's voice gushing "he eats me out so good". Curses! More unnecessary ual mental imageries of Yixing! Urgh! Shake the vile image out of my head!

I feel my cheeks heat up. I need to get this intruder off my table! 

I slam his offered peach on my table. "Look, J is just shrouded in a haze of blind love now. As, while I am indeed an important person in her life and will remain as one for a very long time. You, on the other hand... you'll outlive your welcome in a matter of weeks, days. You're J's current boyfriend, soon to be relegated to J's nth boyfriend. So don't take it personally that I'm not interested in investing any effort to get into your good books. We won't hang around each other long enough to warrant us "getting along". For now, just "tolerating" each other will suffice. So if you'll just kindly remove yourself off my table? Thank you very much."

Yixing laughs heartily. What's wrong with him? Why does he laugh at everything?

"What makes you so utterly certain that my relationship with J will be short-lived?"

"Ha! I've received intelligence about your dating history. Or shall I say, lack of? You're an incorrigible player. You've not had a relationship that's lasted for more than three months! You're a dyed-in-the-wool skirt-chaser. You woo a girl fervently and once you've gotten into her skirt, you lose interest, break it off and move on to your next target! And from what J has confided in me, you two have already done the deed, so I guess you'll probably move onto your next conquest soon? Your next bedpost notch? Also, J may be besotted with you now, cause you're "different", ergo exotic and exciting. But another more exciting guy will come along, and you'll be history soon, cad."

"Do you ever listen to yourself talk, Bo?" Yixing laughs. Listen to myself talk? Why? I can hear myself very clearly. What is he insinuating?

He switches to a less friendly tone and says rudely, "You're such a , Bo."

How dare he? No one! No one dares to call me a ! Much less to my face! I reach across the table to smack him.

He caught my hand swiftly. "Really? Verbally abusing me is not enough? Now you want to resort to physical abuse too?" He glares at me as he slams down my hand. Ouch!

"Look, I can't get through to you at all. I'll just let J know that I've tried, but you are a cold, callous , not worth getting through to! This time, you're the one unworthy of my time! And by the way, challenge accepted! J and I will date beyond three months!" He finishes and leaves.

My heart pounds. I'm so angry! And oddly, scared for the first time in a long while. Why does this mere peasant scare me so?
