“Babe, are you ready to go to-?” His voice trailed off into the quiet apartment as he opened the door of the bathroom in the bedroom the both of you share. You had taken a shower first and right after you, he was next in line to take a shower. However, when you were done, you had not informed him of where you were going to go – so of course, he’d assume you’d be in bed waiting for him. Earlier today, the both of you had a long day out, having dinner with parents, relatives and friends – it was very festive and joyful like how last year has been. This year was a rather special year for you and him because this year was his debut year as an artist, a singer. You were far more than just excited for him that you’ve gotten him a box of Christmas gifts that would help him as a growing artist. So now, when he’s fresh out of the shower, he’d like to just take a moment to thank you and have some alone time with you before the remaining hours of Christmas would fade away but where were you, in the first place?

“Oh?” He breathed out quietly, frowning a bit as he closed the bathroom door behind him. He had his sleeping clothes on and he was sure you had the same. He tossed his towel onto the towel rack before pacing out of the bedroom just to stand in the empty living room where you weren’t there either. He reached up, scratching the back of his neck before he looked over his shoulder to see that the kitchen was also vacant – just where on earth were you hiding?

Just then, he heard a soft sneeze coming from a distance that he flinched, facing forward to see that the balcony doors were slightly opened. A smile immediately crept onto his face as he headed towards the two white doors, blocked by the curtains. He gently pulled them to the side, making no noise as his eyes landed on your figure standing out by the railings. He could see the cold breeze just blowing past you, making your hair float for a moment before they landed on your shoulders perfectly again – you looked absolutely stunning despite him only being able to stare at your back.

Not being able to hold himself back any longer, he delicately pulled the door open just to step out to the balcony to join you.
