I love T-ara and I love Hyomin!

I have been wanting to write something because of a series of events that involve our lovely Hyomin and *cough SNSD members hehe. You all know I have many Hyomin ships. Also some of these are influence by some posts in Onehallyu. How I love this site for their threads that inspire my different Hyomin ships keke. Of course I also love reading other stories here written by awesome authors :)

Unine, can we talk later? The girl hit the send button. She has been typing and retyping the same message. In the end she clicked the sent button.

On the other side of the room, a message tone was heard. The owner of the phone went to check her message. For days, she will keep her phone silent especially now that she is going through something. She wanted to throw her phone away but she knew she couldn’t because it is the only way she could communicate to the people she love. She looked across the room to find the sender looking at her expectantly. She smiled and gave a small nod.

Later that night…

Knock, knock, knock.

“Yah! What are you wearing? You look creepy.” The older girl greeted as she welcome the other girl (sender) inside the hotel room.

“I think it is the perfect disguise. No one will suspect that it’s me.” The younger guest said as she removed layers of masks and clothing.

“With the way you dressed up, everyone will know who you are. Only you will pull off something like that.”

“It’s a good thing we are staying in the same hotel then keke”

The older girl can only shake her head. It was a typical Park Hyomin. On stage or in front of a camera, she will be this super y woman who is also a dork. But outside of the camera when they are all alone in the dorm, Hyomin is still this weird girl. She wonders how come a lot of people still falls for her even after seeing this side of her. Or maybe these people haven’t seen this side of her. Whatever they see in Hyomin is a great puzzle for Park Soyeon.

Hyomin was wearing a pajama. It is not a y kind that will show her S line or would flatter her body instead it is a baggy, comfortable sleepwear which makes Hyomin seem like a dorky kid with eyeglasses. Grinning widely, Hyomin went to hug Soyeon.

“Wae?” Sso ask even if she returns the tight hug.

“I’m just thankful and happy that you are here Unnie.” That was all Hyomin said but she has a lot more that she wanted to say.

Soyeon smiled. She knew there were a lot of things that Hyomin would want to tell her but the hug is more than enough. “Me too.”

The two are both resting on the bed talking about the concert that just happened earlier. It was both surreal. Soyeon’s phone kept buzzing but the older girl ignored it. Eventually she picked it up and turned it off.

“The Trouble Maker performance is a hit. The Queens are raving about it in social media. I bet Minyeon fans  are going crazy.” Sso commented.

Hyomin grinned widely. “I thought it was a fun and crazy idea. I almost had a dress malfunction.”

“It was daebak.”

“keke thanks Unnie”

“You do know that it is going to happen because of this performance?”

Jiyeon and I did it because we thought the fans would love it especially Minyeon fans. Since our birthdays are near we thought we would give them a Minyeon birthday gift. Neh, we both understand that some might criticize our performance but what’s new?” Hyomin explain.

The girls have really grown mature. What they have experienced helped them be closer and mature. It was not like it was fair for them but it happened. They accepted that harsh reality and become better version of themselves.

“That’s not what I meant. You know my phone kept buzzing for certain reason. And I am not talking about the company, our staff, the concert or our fans…” Soyeon gave a knowing look to the younger Park.

Hyomin bit her lip apologetically. She had an idea why, the reason that Sso is pertaining to.

“Still even on my last days as a T-ara member, you are still giving me too much headache.” Sso teased.

“Unnie… “ Hyomin’s eyes got teary not because Sso was scolding her but because Sso mentioned that other harsh reality.

“Hyo we’ve talked about this with the members. It is not goodbye.”

“I know. It’s just that I wish you and Boram Unnie could have a better exit. And not being surrounded by rumors and fake news. You deserve better.” Hyomin said not able to contain it in. She went to hug Soyeon.

They stayed in that position like a daughter hugging a mother. “Hey are you crying? Don’t you dare wipe your nose on me.” Sso said to lighten up the mood. “Besides, don’t change the topic. Honestly, I don’t get what they see in you. Why they are so crazy for you?”

“Unnie you are just exaggerating.”

“Me? Exaggerating? You don’t know how much my phone keep on vibrating because of them spamming me with messages especially after that Trouble Maker performance broke the internet. And I am just talking about SNSD members. What do they see in you?”

“I don’t know Unnie. Maybe because I am y?” Hyomin joked. “And it is not like that…”

Soyeon thought maybe it was because of the chase that was why the others are so crazy over Hyomin. But she is wrong. These girls have been into Hyomin for too long. And not only that, the number of girls that are into Hyomin are increasing and Sso is not just talking about a particular girl group. For Sso it is a good thing that she does not see Hyomin that way. Otherwise she would be like them. The members are like family. No matter where they go, they will still be a family. T-ara will always be a family… but.. yes there is a but… Sso can’t speak for the maknae and the oldest member of T-ara. She sees Jiyeon and Qri getting smitten by Hyomin unknowingly. When Hyo is with Qri, she sees Jiyeon stealing glances at them. When Hyo is with Ji, Qri does the same. She wonders how Eunjung will handle it. Soyeon smiled at the thought that Eunjung will be the one to inherit her problem.

“But SNSD is y… Sunny, Fany, Taeyeon, even Hyoyeon and Seohyun are taking interest in you. That’s more than half of SNSD and not to mention Sica who is former SNSD. I am not sure about Sooyoung yet but Yuri is lowkey and Yoona…well Yoona is busy in China but don’t you think I didn’t know what she has been doing when our group has activities in China. So umm.. yeah that counts as a whole girl group that is into you. Not to mention the top, number 1 girl group.”

“Unnie….” Hyomin wanted to stop Sso but the older Park is in control of this conversation.

“Exhibit A: Fashion Week March 2017”

SNSD meeting room

“We need volunteers to attend the Fashion Week to represent SNSD.” The manager announced. SNSD members each have their own schedules. The members are enjoying some of their free time because once they have their comeback, they will be very busy. They weren’t expecting anyone to volunteer and they even prepared a back-up plan. But 3 beautiful ladies volunteered – Tiffany who often attend fashion events and then there’s Seohyun and Hyoyeon.

“Wow, any reason why you all wanted to go?”

“The three looked at each other. They all say that this year’s event is more exciting. But the truth is they knew that Hyomin was attending that event solo. It was a perfect way to accompany the T-ara member.

On the day of the event, they were dismayed for 2 reasons:

1. The three of them were all sitting together. And no one wants to sit in the middle.
2. Hyomin was sitting a few seats away T_T

It was a failed attempt.

Yes, it was a failed attempt but that didn’t stop Fany. Fany went to attend another event thanks to her friend, Bora. Fany even insisted that she sits next to Hyomin. Bora could only shake her head and support her lovesick friend.

“Exhibit B: Sunny mentioning your name April 2017”

It is very rare to see Sunbyung moments. It was the original OTP that launches a thousand ships. Once a year they will post a picture of them together. It has been this way. Everyone knows that they are friends even if fans do not see that much interaction. Thanks to social media, Sunbyung shippers get to see some interactions… we’d say discreet interactions.

Sunny has been alright with this arrangement. Hyomin has always been associated with her. There was only Sunbyung. Well yes, other Hyomin ships is within T-ara members but Sunny knows that T-ara treats each other as family. She has no worry there. Not until she started competing with her members for Hyomin. She does not know how it started. Why suddenly the other members are into Hyomin as well. At first she was happy that finally the other members started to understand why she like Hyomin. What she didn’t expect was that the other members to fall for Hyomin as well. And unlike her, the other members, namely Tiffany Hwang, are bold enough to post a picture of them in Instagram.

So when she was asked whom she would nominate for clap donations, she mentioned Hyomin. But still being discreet she mentions other people as well.

“Exhibit C: Flea Market with Jessica April 2017”

“This came out of nowhere. No one really expected it. And it is not like there was a hype about it. There was not even a photo of you together. But fan accounts showed that you and Jessica were together on that flea market.” Soyeon said.

“I was training for the marathon then when a friend asked me if I was interested to participate in the flea market. I agreed because I had a lot of old stuffs I want to let go.”

“Was it Sica who invited you?”

“Aniyo. I learned from the organizers that Sica has a booth there but she would not be able to participate because she was in LA with Krystal. So her staff will be there. I met her staff in the meeting.” Hyomin explained.

“Yet Sica was there.”

“I was also surprised because she was there before me. Haha. We were both busy. We didn’t get to greet each other.” Hyomin shared.

Sica side of the story.

Before going to LA, a friend contacted Sica if she was interested in participating to a flea market. Her friend was organizing this event. Sica explained that she’s going to LA with Krystal and couldn’t be on the actual event but she was willing to help. Both agreed that Jessica will have a booth and that it will be managed by one of her staff.

3 days before the event, the organizers set a meeting with the participants. The meeting went well. They became friendly that Hyomin left a comment at Sica’s staff. This was of course noticed by the ice princess’s keen observation. She is very keen especially when it involves Hyomin. Needless to say, Sica flew that day to Korea just to be able to participate in that event.

Both the organizers and her staffs were shocked to see her. She gave off other excuse though that particular staff has a suspicion. And her suspicion was confirmed by Jessica herself. It could be a warning or just a simple statement but Sica’s staff clearly got the message, which is to back off from Hyomin.  

There were a lot of fans. Sica was careful of her actions. She did not interact with Hyomin as much as she wanted to because she knew what her actions could lead to. After the event when there no fans, no organizers, Sica contacted Hyomin.  They met secretly after the event.

"This is only from March until today and it is not even complete yet. Do I need to go on detail?" Soyeon summarized.

"No need Unnie" Hyomin said half embarrased.

“Hyo, I know it feels great to have an entire group after you but you have to choose.” Sso advised.

“Unnie, you are right it feels great but it also feels like a burden. I don’t want to hurt any of them and I don’t know yet.”

“Well I don’t make a rash decision. Choose wisely.” Sso said a corny catchphrase.

“I choose T-ara.” Hyomin said proudly making both girls smile.

“Me too.” Soyeon replied.

Hyomin went to hug Soyeon again. “Unnie can I sleep with you?”

“Wae? Are you choosing me? Park Hyomin I am thankful but you are not my type.” Sso joked.

“Yah Unnie that hurts.” Hyomin played along. “I just want to be with Unnie.”

“What about Boram? Where will she sleep?”

“I will sleep with you and Boram unnie. I’ll be like you child. Hehehe”

“Hay childish.. you are just like Jiyeon.”

And just like on cue, the door opened with Boram and Jiyeon, Qri and Eunjung behind.

“Well, someone came here before you.” Boram teased Ji.

“Yah!” Jiyeon rushed to the bed and hugged Sso as well.

All T-ara members spent the night together.

Encore

After coming back from Taiwan, Hyomin met with Jo Kwon. Jo Kwon posted a picture of them together. And shortly, shortly like less than a minute, someone called Jo Kwon. The guy showed his phone to Hyomin to see who the caller is.

“I told you she can be really possessive.” He said. People all know how this girl was possessive of Jo Kwon that he even rejected Hyomin on a reality show before.

“Hello.” Jo Kwon answered. “You want to speak with her?” Jo Kwon passed the phone to Hyomin.

Hyomin took it and answer, “Hello Gain Unnie.”

“Why weren’t you answering your phone the other day?”

“Mianhe, I was in Taiwan with the members.”

“I know. I saw the news. I also saw your performance with Jiyeon.”

“…”

“It was great. You did a good job.”

“Jinja?” Hyomin asked. Hyomin had private dancing lessons with Gain. Gain herself offered to help Hyomin. It happened when Gain dropped by when Hyomin was preparing for her 2^nd album. Hyomin’s vocal coach was Jea and Gain went to visit her former bandmate.

Hyomin was nervous when she was asked to perform in front of Gain. Jea said that Gain can give her insights. Still Hyomin performed under the audience’s hawk eye. What can we say but even Gain was caught under Hyomin’s spell.

“So did you and Jiyeon slept together?”

“Neh.”

“Yah!”

 “Unnie, we all slept together. I mean the members. We all wanted to spend the night together.” Hyomin explained. Hyomin is used to this. Why wouldn’t she? She has had almost the exact same conversation with 9 different people in that same day.

“Well even if you killed that performance, you still have a few lessons left. So don’t you dare miss class.”

“Arasso!”

At home

“Hyomin nah”

“Wae?”

“There’s something for you on the table.”

“Oh thank you.”

Hyomin opened the package and it was Twice album with a note from the members. Instead of asking for support for their album, Twice members are all giving her encouragement to stay strong and that they will keep supporting T-ara and her. Each and every note ended with a Saranghe and many hearts.
