Chemistry
The Yehet ProjectI apparently had two classes with this kid: homeroom (which is the very first class of the day) and chemistry (the very last class).
I always came to class right when the tardy bell is about to ring, just so that I could always make an entrance. But today, another kid was the last one to make it to class.
That kid.
I rolled my eyes, once again, as I started taking out my notes for today’s lab.
“Okay class settle down. As you all know, today we will be focusing on the titration lab. I have assigned everyone new lab partners. Let’s see…”
I was already starting on the worksheet that accompanied the lab, since I’d watched this lab being done before during one of my dad’s lectures.
“...and Oh Sehun with Im Yoojung.”
Huh?
My head immediately shot up. No. This can’t be happening.
But then there he was, already grabbing his backpack and making his way over towards the empty seat next to mine. I think he tripped on the way there.
“Hey,” he said. “Are you familiar with titrations?”
I immediately slid the worksheet I’d been working on under my notebook. “Nope,” I said. “Not a thing.”
The guy nodded, as if taking this in. “That’s okay. My dad’s a chemist so I know a couple things. Mind handing me that flask?”
