Residential Weirdo
The Yehet ProjectI woke up the next morning on a bed that I did not recognize. I would’ve panicked, before the door opened and in came some guy. He was carrying a tray consisting of scrambled eggs, toast, a glass of water, and a single advil.
“Good morning,” he said, putting the tray down beside me. “You’re up. And don’t worry, I didn’t do anything to you. I slept in the living room, on the couch. You were pretty out of it last night and failed to give me an address.”
I made a move to respond before my head started hurting like crazy. A hangover indeed.
“Here,” the guy said, handing me the glass of water and advil. “Take it. And here’s breakfast.”
I took the advil, but immediately grew suspicious of the guy afterwards. “What’s with the generosity?” I asked defensively.
“What? A guy can’t be nice to a girl?”
“Not after what happened to me last night,” I mumbled, finishing the glass of water.
“Oh yeah,” the guy said, pulling up a chair next to the bed. “Sorry about that. I heard from the other kids that you guys had been dating for a while.”
“Look,” I said, putting on a serious face, “I don’t know who you are, or what you want from me, but if you heard what I said and what I’m going to do to Jung Taekwoon, I think you know where your loyalties lie.”
The guy stared at me, puzzled. “I don’t want anything from you,” he said. “I just wanted to help.”
“Sure you did,” I replied, already getting out of the bed and grabbing my purse off the table. “I thank you for that and I can assure you that it will never happen again.”
I left the bedroom and walked out the front door, the only thing on my mind being calling for a ride asap.
“You’re welcome!” I heard the guy yell from the front porch. “And the name is Sehun, by the way! Oh Sehun!”
