It was raining and the melting mud of the mountains made twice difficult the run. They have been separated from their group; they were on their own again. Long boney fingers were clutching a delicate hand. They could hear the barking dogs, the shouting, and the steps even in between the thunders.

“Do you want me to carry you?”

“No, no is fine. Im fine master”

“Aish…I told you, please don’t call me that”, the other lowered his head in respect and shame. They kept running up and up, tire, wet and bruised by the trees branches.

“Mast..ter I cant..any.. more”, he called.

“Ill carry you”

“Im too heavy, you continue”

“I wont leave you here”, he started to carry him.

“There he is!”, the both of them looked at the voice, they were on their heels. He pushed his lover and hid himself almost inside a tree, they could see each other.

“I don’t see anything, where?”

“Up there in the hill, come on, call the men!!”

“Yes sir!”

The man was left alone and he started to come out of the tree to catch his lover who was also standing.

“Come, lets go…”, he whispered and pointed the way and when he turned to see the other he saw doubt in his eyes. He waved his hands again, the other wasn’t moving. He stepped forward and that’s when he came in the view of the officer.

“Freez!”, he said and shot. The sound made his lover snap back to reality, but turned and ran the other way.

 The bullet reached him but he also turned and ran away. He ran as fast and as much as his body could. He didn’t see the blood streaming, he fainted and fell down hill.
