Super Junior-Happy

                    SM was more than pleased with the success of the Super Junior subgroups and decided that since Super Junior M was away in China doing promotions, they might as well keep the Korean members busy. And with that, Super Junior –Happy was born.

                    SJH was meant to be a vocal based but very happy group. They released a CD and helped to further secure the band in the fans’ hearts. The whole atmosphere of the music was happiness and a light heartedness that made people like it. It was easy for the remaining members to be able to put up this show of craziness.    

                    Soo Man proposed to the remaining members that they formed another subunit while their brothers were in China. The idea sounded fantastic to all but Heechul. He shook his head. “I refuse. I don’t do happy songs. Really. Trot is more my style. I’ll MC instead.” And so they let him go, leaving Leeteuk, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin and Eunhyuk to hold fort. The company gave them a vague sense of what they were doing.

                    “You’ll be called SJ-H, for happy. Anything else that you do, you can come up with by yourself. We’ll find the means of making it happen.”

                    The song was presented to them and then the choreography was to be decided. Each of them gathered in the room and danced out a segment they found would fit. “Look, we should make flapping mouths because obviously that represents eating,” Shindong inputted.

                    “How about we also do some sort of weird leg movement with that too?” Sungmin bent his knees and demonstrated, smiling the whole way.

                    Everyone got into the spirit of things and started to do stupid movements. Yesung stole the show when he combined his octopus dance with their arranged movements. Leeteuk clapped his hands.

                    “Guys, remember, we’re being tortured here. Our girlfriend cannot cook. She’s forcing her disgusting food on us, what do we do?”

                    Eunhyuk raised his hand. “We can always pretend to gag?”

                    But Sunny from SNSD was introduced and was told that she would be in their music video. The boys nodded, willing it incorporate her. The filming started and they were excited to learn that this time things would be funny, that things would be different. The company would use all sorts of technology and animated effects for them.

                    Because Super Junior-Happy was an unit they wanted to see succeed, SM also spent money on a decent photoshoot as well as another graphically amazing music video. When the songs came out, they got great reviews.

                    “Hey, look! Somebody thinks that Sungmin and Sunny are together! Ahaha, SunSun couple!” Eunhyuk called from the computer screen.

                    Their aegyo bunny blushed and threw something at the dancer. “Ya, these fans will ship anything and everything!”

                    “Not true. They had a choice of six boys to choose from and they decide you. I think that’s pretty darn telling. Besides, didn’t you say she was your favorite member anyway?”

                    And that was the way SJH went. Happy as always. SM, bring them back sometime? 

I'M SORRY. I have not neglected this story. I've just hadn't found the time. The next chapter or the one after will be Leeteuk's letter. And then I think there will be some tears.
