"You need more rest. Go back to sleep.. When you wake up I'll still be here."

"Promise?" I whispered

"Pinky Promise." He linked his pinky with mine. I grinned and slowly closed my eyes, his pinky still linked to mine.

P.O.V. : Jiyong

I wanted to go back home and take a rest there but I haven't visited her. I saw how happy she was when she saw me. I slept by her side, my finger still wrapped around hers. At least when I'm with her, I feel relieved and at peace.. I woke up to the sound of murmuring, it was Amber. She furrowed her eyebrows and murmured something, I went closer to her and gave her a soft kiss on her forehead with my eyes closed.

"Kris.."

It broke my heart hearing his name one last time.. She's been saying that name ever since she's been in this hospital. I never told her that she always mentions his name but this time a tear fell when she mentioned that name. Kris. I've had enough of this! I let go of Amber's hand and walked out of her room, looking at her one last time. I went back to school, and speaking of the devil I found him playing in the court. Jiyong's patience ran out and went straight for Kris. Punched him right in the face. Kris landed flat on the ground with his confused expression.

"This is all your fault!"

"What the hell are you talking about?!" Kris shouted back

"I could've had her. She's already mine! But why does it feel like she's forced?!" Jiyong eyes were starting to water. "What?" Kris absent mindedly asked

"She's fallen for you!"

There was a storm outside. I stared out at the window, waiting for someone.. but who? I remember my moments with Jiyong those happy and peaceful moments but.. he's there in the picture too.. I love Him right? Someone was knocking at the door

"Hey Boo.."

Key.. 

"How are you?" he asked sitting down next to me on the bed

"I don't know.. About my health or about what I feel.." I looked away from him and watched as the rain drops fall down on the window

"Tell me.. Tell me everything." I shifted my gaze back at him with a weak smile

"Sometimes I wonder why it wasn't you who I fell for oppa.." He blushed at my comment. How cute.

"So you acknowledged my confession?" He chuckled

"Somehow yes but.. you came back too late.. maybe that's why it wasn't you who I fell for Key oppa.. But I've been thinking lately.. I missed someone else's presence.. instead of Jiyong.." I looked down at his hand and held it

"Our hands fit perfectly but when it comes to Him.. His is.. His is bigger than mine.. and I feel more.. safer and.. protected when we hold hands.." She held Key's hand intertwined with his closed fist. Key looked at their hands then back at her smiling

"What's this other person's name?"

"Kris"

Kris received several hits from Jiyong, he didn't fight back nor back down. He knew what Jiyong felt so he just let him go. Letting his body be a punching bag. Both of them were exhausted, Kris had blood stains all over his uniform

"Had enough?" Kris asked then he stood up, placed his hands both in his pockets and looked at Jiyong with a straight face

"You know Jiyong? Honsetly speaking.. I purposely ignored her and gave a distance to her.. I just don't want to have this.. this stupid feeling I have.." Jiyong wasn't looking back at Kris who was still huffing loudly

"She's yours now.." Jiyong whispered

"Huh?" Jiyong looked up at Kris and was at eye level

"Kris.. I.. For her.. Make this happen.." Jiyong still never came back the morning, Kris was already there with my breakfast

"You finally showed up." I smiled

"Yeah.. Sorry about that." After I ate my breakfast I asked Kris to open the window for me.

"Bored?" He smirked

"Kind of..."

"C'mon I'll take you somewhere.." He grinned pushing the wheel chair close to my bed

"But.. i don't think I'm allowed to leave.." He still lifted me and held my tight so that I wouldn't fall then he sat me down at the chair

"Trust me on this okay?" I nodded. He put a blindfold on me then I felt he started pushing the wheel chair,

"Are we inside the elevator?"

"Shh.." He laughed

"Kris? Can I take them off now?"

"Not yet." I heard him open the door and felt the cool breeze

"Okay now." I removed the blindfold and saw colorful balloons everywhere, there were hanging lights, then two chairs and a table in the middle. He pushed me towards the table, he pulled me up and carefully placed me on the chair. I was smiling like an idiot that whole time

"What's all this?"

"Just a little present so you wouldn't get bored." His smile looks so happy but it's like, something else is written on it.

"When's your operation?" He asked

"..." I couldn't answer him. I don't know whether I should or I shouldn't.

"Make the right choice.."

"Why don't we dance, come here!" He changed the subject pulling me up once more.

"But I don't know how to dance"

"Then I'll teach you, just follow my footsteps okay?" He pulled me closer to him

"Put your hand on my shoulder then your other hand here." He held my right hand tight then placed his other free hand on my back. Hands closed fist. I blushed, trying not to look back at him.

"It's better when you blush" He laughed

"You look more.. alive and I miss the old Amber that laughs and smiles a lot."

"Shut up.." I hid my face on his chest.

"See! You can dance!" He twirled me slowly then grabbed me back this time he was hugging me.

"I'm sorry.."

"For what?" "Because I was mean to you back then.. I didn't want you to come closer at me but you did.. You're the only girl I ever felt this way.. this.. this new feeling I never wanted to have."

".. Jealousy?" I answered back

"Yes.. Because.. Maybe I wanted your attention, I was even becoming cold to my friends but.. I don't regret knowing you anymore." He smiled down at me

Am I making the right decision?

"Well you don't have to worry about that anymore." I tiptoed and pulled him in for a kiss.

Maybe I am.

This kiss was different from Jiyong's, This kiss with Kris is much more.. passionate.. I want him to protect me..

"Kris?"

"Hmmm?"

"I love you.."

He paused for a second, looking into my eyes then a smile grew slowly on his lips

"I.. Love you too" He hugged me then kissed me back again.

"How are you today honey?" Dad was wearing a different suit this time, it was white and it wasn't what he wore on his "death bed" as what I call.

"Good. You?"

"I have good news Ber! They're gonna let me inside the gates now."

"Really? .. So your leaving?"

"For good. Don't worry about it! I'll be watching from above. I'm proud of you, you know?" Dad kissed my forehead

"Proud of me? Why?"

"You made the right choice. And I know this choice of yours wont be regretful!" I laughed

"I'm gonna miss you dad.."

"I'll be missing you too.." A loud bell rang

"Well that's time. Don't make your brothers worry again okay?"

"I wont! I promise!"

"Goodbye my sweet daughter~ take care of your brothers okay?" He kissed me one last time

"I promise!" then I waved goodbye. How went up to the stairs that looked like clouds and smiled at me one last time.

A white and bright light woke me up.
