Kai looked outside the window

"It's about to rain.." then I saw I saw Amber also looking out the window.

She's so cute.. Kai! You're not gonna fall for her that easily are you? Pabo! 

"Hey Amber!" She looked at me

"..Hey Kai." she smiled

"Are you waiting for someone?" I asked

"No, They're all busy right now." she replied

"Why don't I bring you to the bus stop?" I said with my cool voice

"Is it okay with you? I might be a bother."

"Psshhh C'mon." I grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the entrance of the school but then it suddenly started raining

"Aish.." I cursed then I saw Amber take something out of her bag

"Here, we'll share." she smiled like it wasn't a problem.

Why is she so nice? She's like.. Her..

She brought out a cherry red umbrella with polka dots that were transparent. 

"C'mon Kai." She was already outside and I was still staring at her.

"You okay dude?" she giggled then I smirked. I grabbed the handle of her umbrella and I held her hand tight so we were both holding the umbrella 

"You're hands are cold." I noticed

"Yours is hot." I laughed

"Of course I'm hot Amber!" she shook her head while smiling

"Whatever you say Kai.." then the rain started pouring some more, good thing we were already close to a bus stop I looked at her wiping her sleeves then I took out my handkerchief and handed it to her

"Thanks Kai." I sat down and we waited for the bus. Kai is so nice.

"I'll give it back to you after I wash it."

"No need, It's yours." He smiled

"Ahh okay. Thanks." I sat beside him, we don't always talk unless he would hit on me but he didn't right now. I expected for him to flirt with me again but he was good this time. A new side I haven't seen from Kai.

"Where are Kris and the others?" I had to start a conversation because it was getting awkward

"Basketball practice."

"Oh yeah, the game is almost close."

"I wanted to join in physical clubs this year too but my body can't take too much--" He was looking at me

"I sweat a lot."

"Ah okay." he nodded 

phew.. 

"Amber.. If I asked you to be my girlfriend will you say yes?" we were watching the cars pass by as he said that question.

"Kai.. I like you. I really do.. but not in that way.. You're my friend and I don't want to ruin our friendship."

Deja Vu? 

"Why? I'm hot. You're hot. Other girls would say yes immediately when I say that, why?"

"because.. I.. I.. Lo-"

"Love somebody else? Is love even necessary in a relationship? I've dated a lot of girls and they never said they loved me once, Amber Love is for stupid people who believe that they will stay together forever, promises like those are stupid." I was so surprised at what Kai just said. He was angry for some reason.

"You were hurt badly that you ended up playing around with girls.." His eyes widened then looked at me.

He held my hand then closed his eyes. "You must think I'm a loser for showing you my other side.."

"Why would I think that? I'm more glad that I saw a new side of you, I get to know you better." he chuckled

"Why are you so gentle Amber? I don't like that side of you." I giggled

"Why?" he sighed

"My plan failed. I lose."

"Huh? What plan?"

"My plan failed in making you fall for me but instead I fell for you.. I like you Amber.." He looked at me straight in the eyes

"But I can see you like someone else.. Heh. Figures." he scoffed then the bus came

"Well you better get on quick because I might regret falling for you."

"Kai. I-" He took my hand and kissed the back of it.

"The guy you like is very lucky Amber." he thumbs up then I went inside the bus and waved at him.

"Why dothey keep on confessing to me??" 

"She's so oblivious." I received a text from Kris  just a little while ago to wait for him in the bus stop.

"Sorry for making you wait Kai." Good thing he had an umbrella with him. I grabbed Kris by the neck and ruffled his hair

"Y-Yah! What's wrong with you Kai?!"

"You lucky bastard!"

"What the are you talking about Kai? Let me go you blabbering idiot!" I slapped his face

"UUUUUUUGHHH YOU'RE SO LUCKY!"

"What the hell Kai? Are you high or something?! Stop it!" I wanted to let out my anger on Kris since Amber was the only girl who ever rejected me but Kris is my friend. I wanted to cry but I let it all out on Kris who I know is pissed right now.

"Okay, let's go home. I'm done torturing you." he raised his eyebrow

"Are you retarted?!" He slapped the back of my head

"Ouch. Okay okay I'm sorry. It's just that a girl rejected me."

"What? No way."

"You don't believe me?"

"You're bluffing.."

"Aiiish.. whatever Kris. I hate you."

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

"You took her from me!! We're not friends anymore~!" I dramatically fell on the ground then he kicked me

"Yah! Get up you idiot! I didn't take any girl from you. You're such an idiot."

"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S AN IDIOT!" I pointed at him.

What's wrong with Kai? I never broke the bro code yet. Have I?
