Kai’s P.O.V

“Hmm…everybody seems to think I’m the teacher’s pet, though I’ve never actually helped a teacher” D.O replied sarcastically, and the only way I could retaliate was by snickering “Yea I can imagine, I can see that you may be studious but outside of school you seem as if you were trying to impress me by dressing as a rebel”  I muttered to myself thinking D.O wouldn’t hear, but no I had seemed to have miscalculated as he must’ve heard, when he unexpectedly jumped up from his chair and hollering “WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY KIM JONGIN?!”

As I tried to recompose myself with what had just happened alongside obtaining a completely shocked expression on my face all I could blurt out was “I-I DIDN’T MEAN …I-I’M SORRY” after that I just hung my head down low, but as soon as I looked up to see D.O, unexpectedly fell back onto his chair dangerously laughing his head off.

“Ahhh hahahaa Jongin…..seriously you are too easy to scare haha” D.O muttered in between his giggling.  “OMG, are you serious Kyungsoo…I thought you were about to crack the s at me “I exaggerated, “I thought you we’re about to storm off or never speak to me again or something like that” I continued whilst he was still laughing at me.

D.O’s P.O.V

I honestly could not stop laughing at the sight of Kai’s priceless expression. I was laughing so much that people had actually started to send us short, annoyed looking glances. Just as the people around us began whispering amongst themselves, Kai abruptly shoved a breadstick in my mouth to stop me from causing any more of a scene.

Finally after allowing myself to chew on the breadstick without choking, I looked up so see Kai scanning around the restaurant to see if other people were maybe still watching them. It was then I notice Kai seemed to feel quite embarrassed, I thought with him being a part of EXO and all he wouldn’t care what others would think of him….but I guess I was wrong because I noted that he’d always being moving in some sense, from either wriggling around in his seat or simply twirling his thumbs around each other.

So subsequently long array of silence I thought to do something to cheer him up. I reached over and pulled his hands into my grasp and planted a sweet innocent kiss on each of each of his knuckles whilst saying “Mianhae (I’m sorry)” in between each kiss. therefore once I looked up I knew I had succeeded to cheer him up as he began to steer his head away so I wouldn’t catch him blushing, so I pretend I didn’t see it.

It was then after we finally ordered or food, I settled it’d be the best time to clear out each other’s unanswered questions, because deep down inside I knew I could trust Jongin from the moment he kissed me back at SM restaurant.

 “J-Jongin” I said “the reason for this dinner between us, is really only happening from one reason…our unanswered questions….so how about we number them off and make life simpler for the two of us, but I think there’s one question we both needed an answer to know was…..what or how the kiss happened amidst us”
