Bang.

And yet another part of the house fell apart. We were under attack. By who? Hunters. Some way or another, they had found out how powerful I was, and they were determined to kill me. Our house was slowly falling apart, and my family was getting hurt all because of me. Tears were rolling down my cheeks as omma once again made a force field around me and my elder brother. Trembling, we watched in horror as appa fought to hold the hunters down. He was visibly tired and hurt as he was bleeding, a stake struck from his back to the front of his chest.

"HYERA! GET THE KIDS TO THE BASEMENT!" he shouted, pulling the stake from his body before sticking it into a hunter. Looking up, omma nodded once before taking my and oppa's hand. 

"APPA!" I screamed, tears falling endlessly as I hiccupped. I wanted so badly to run up to him, but as arms wrapped themselves around me, I was prevented from moving. Looking up, I watched as Taehyung oppa looked down at me, his eyes equally teary. 

"IF YOU RUN, WE'LL LOSE YOU TOO!" he shouted while my hair. Opening my mouth to say something, I looked back up at my father, taking the last glance of him; not missing him mouthing 'I love you' to us before he fell. Gasping, I quickly hid my face in oppa's chest as he continued my hair. 

"Quickly!" omma ushered, taking our hands before leading us to the basement hidden under a rug. Being the last one to enter, she quickly looked around before closing the hatch. Sitting down, she brought us closer to us looking down at us with a look so sad and full of regret. She too was covered in blood but did not say anything as she still smiled weakly down at us. Throwing her arms around us, she pulled us into a hug, her wings enveloping us. 

"Don't forget that I love you so much, I will always do. Appa fought for us because he loves us so much. You have to make sure you take care of each other." she said carefully, eyes starting to fill with tears. Pulling away a little, she took something off before putting it around our necks. Looking down on it, I stared at the wing necklace, oppa having the exact same one. 

"It's mine and your father's. You have to always remember how much we love you." she said softly, smiling at us as if nothing was wrong. Just then another sound of another part of the house falling was heard. Turning to my brother, she put a hand on his shoulder, "Taehyung, you have to remember to be strong. You need to watch over your little sister, alright?"

"Of course, omma." oppa answered, blinking unknowingly at her. Smiling meekly, she stared at us, taking in the last sight of us. The hatch started slamming, the ceiling banging as dust started falling. Quickly jumping in omma's arms, we hugged her tight, getting ready to teleport. Spreading her wings out, she tightened the hold around us, sniffing. Looking at my brother, I stuck my pinky finger out. 

"Oppa, promise me you will never leave me!" I said, and he immediately stuck his own pinky out, hooking it around mine before imprinting each other's thumbs. 

"I promise!" he said before hugging me close. Looking up at omma, we shuffled closer as the hatch was slowly coming loose from its hinges. 

"I'm so sorry. I love you so much..." she whispered, tears falling as she our backs, gasping for air as she sobbed, "Goodbye..."

Eyes widening, oppa and I stared up at our mother just as the hatch burst open. The last thing I caught was the ceiling falling and omma shutting her eyes close before it suddenly all went black.
