It was at school during one of your classes when you realized there was a slight flaw in your plans in going back to dancing. You couldn’t believe you hadn’t thought of it until now. Unconsciously, you started banging your head against your book that was in front of you. You began muttering to yourself.

Someone clearing their throat made you stop, “Ummm, Kana-ssi?” The voice of the person was one you recognized, although you had never talked to this particular classmate.

You lifted up your head slowly, your bangs curtained your eyes with a few strays of hair stuck to your cheek. You brushed them away, just like how you wanted to brush away the conversation that was sure to take place. But years of teachings from your parents forbade you from appearing rude. “Yes Changjo-ssi?” you blinked at him, tilting your head a little at him.

His eyes blinked into yours, “Are you okay?” He turned his body toward you.

“Just peachy,” you answered with your mind still stuck on the obstacle you had to face. You needed to talk to your boyfriend ASAP.

Your classmate followed up his question with yet another, “Are you sure?”

Restraining yourself from scoffing in his face, you answered, “Yes, I’m sure Changjo-ssi.” You looked back down at your book and rolled your eyes hoping your bangs hid the action from the guy. 

“Okay then,” he paused and he opened his mouth once more but nothing came out. You eyed him expecting more but he just nodded and returned back to his own book a little sheepish.

You resumed hitting your book with your head.

It wasn’t until later when that class ended and you were free to go to the next class. You quickly stuffed everything on your desk into your bag and quickly headed to the door, zipping up your bag on the way out. Once you were in the hallway you scanned the heads of everyone hoping to spot your boyfriend in the crowd. Then you saw a familiar head of hair that had shaved sides with a poofy top that you ran your hand through plenty of times. You pushed your way toward his tall frame and reached out for him.

“Jongup-ah!” he turned to you as soon as he heard your voice with a smile already in place. He was with a few of his own classmates and friends who peered at you curiously. You bowed a little to them, “Sorry guys, I have to steal my boyfriend away for a while,” you were already pulling him away.
