When Yongguk stepped out the elevator on the floor to his apartment, he was met with the sound of someone harshly pounding on a door. At first he got out his phone, ready to call the police but then he saw who it was. It was Jongup. The boy was pounding their door down and yelling every once in a while.

“Jongup,” Yongguk said loudly and the boy stopped and turned towards him.

“He won't open. I know he's in there, but he won't open,” the boy said almost angrily. It was a weird expression to see on the boy's face. Like it didn't belong.

“Jongup you can't pound someone's door down in the middle of the night. We have neighbors!” Yongguk told the other in a firm voice. This seemed to put a damper on the boy's anger for a second.

“I'm sorry, but I'm desperate,” Jongup apologized. “I haven't heard from in over a month and he's never done this before. Sure he has isolated himself to work a couple of times, but he would always pick up my calls and text me back. And the other day, he ran away from me! From me! I'm his boyfriend!” the boy continued worriedly.

“He doesn't want to see you,” Yongguk stated the obvious.

“I figured that out!” Jongup snapped. “What I don't get is why?” Yongguk sighed and rubbed his temples. What he wanted most of all right now was to eat and then go to sleep. The gods knew that it had been a long night at work. On one side he just wanted to let the boy in and let him wake up Himchan and talk to him to get this all over with. On the other side he wanted to tell the boy to go himself so he could sleep. But his conscious told him to do neither.

“Ok, here is what we're going to do,” he started after a seconds thought. “I'm going to let you in and then the two of us are going to talk about Himchan. You're not going to go wake him up, you're not going to see him at all. But what is going to happen, is that you're going to tell me everything you know and I'll tell you everything I know, ok,” Yongguk finished his proposal. Jongup looked like he'd like to protest. “Take it or leave it.”

“Ok then,” Jongup agreed with a nod. Yongguk sighed and took out his keys so he could open the door. He took off his shoes and closed the door after the boy, before leading the other to the kitchen. Sitting down, he looked at Jongup who followed suit.

“I don't know much. All I know is that one day he stopped answering my calls and texts. And I don't know the reason,” Jongup told him after a couple of seconds. Yongguk nodded and stayed silent for a few seconds.

“It's under my impression that you cheated on him. That's what I have gotten out of him anyways,” he told the other. Something flashed across the boy's face before it settled on a defiant face.

“I haven't cheated on him and I never would. He has serious trust issues because of what happened back when he went to school. I could never do that against him,” Jongup told him. Yongguk simply looked at the boy, trying to figure out what had flashed across his face for a second. Was it guilt maybe? Or it could be surprise. Either way he didn't know.

“Yeah I've realized that. He started crying horribly one night, rambling about how no one could be trusted,” he told the boy. Worry was etched into every fiber of Jongup's b
