“Umma! Appa!” shouted a 3 year old. She ran over to them with her arms wide opened. Her dad caught here and lifted her up in the air. Her mother laughed and smiled brightly. It was the perfect little family.

“Yah where are you?!?” asked her father. “I just got out of practice? Why Appa?” His daughter replied. “You’re mother is in the hospital!”
“Honey please be strong…” Father whispered silently to himself. His daughter rushed into the waiting room where her Appa waited. The doctor came out and told them the news. “She didn’t make it..”

The daughter came home to see glass shattered everywhere. Beer bottles laid empty in a pile, her father drunk as hell. “Appa that’s enough!” she exclaimed as she snatched the bottle of alcohol away from him. “GIVE IT BACK!” he yelled in rage. Her father smacked her across the face. She fell on the ground as her dad beat her down.
Now- _____’s POV
I stood in the exact spot where I used to get abused. I walked into the bathroom and stared at the mirror. The charming girl I used to be vanished in thin air.
