Sungjae was just riding the subway and coming back home from work, with Sungwon greeting him. He was making Sungjae his favourite food, doenjang jjigae.

"Hey Sungjae!"

"Hi, hyung."

"How was your first day at work?"

"It was alright."

"Just alright?"

Nod.

"Don't worry." comforted Sungwon. "It just takes a little more practice at work. Don't worry, you'll feel less awkward once you put in time and effort into your job. You'll get the hang of it soon."

"No, that's not it."

"Well, did your boss scold you? Don't worry about it, that happens a lot. What's important is that you maintain your composure, because people will criticise you all the time. Just take it in as if it is a grain of rice."

"That's not it either."

"Well, what's the problem?"

"The elevator was broken, and when I stepped in the other, I saw a corpse fall through the ceiling of the stall."

Sungwon dropped the rice spatula.

"What did you say?"

"A corpse."

"A corpse?!"

"Yeah. Someone in the agency must have killed himself."

"Are you serious? That's too bad, poor man."

"Yeah, I couldn't get the gruesome image out of my head all day."

"Do you need some water? I could get you some water."

"No, I'm fine. It's just that for the time being because of that I lost my appetite. I'll just be eating slowly from now on."

"Okay, you don't need to stuff yourself. Take a good rest, hopefully tomorrow you'll feel much better."

"Okay."

Sungjae ate his meal quietly, but somehow had no appetite.
