Ji Yong's POV

I swear that was the best night EVER. Not only did we came true to our feelings, we hugged each other and we even KISSED each other. Not by accident mind you. It's by the feelings, the love we had for each other. Last night seemed like a dream. A dream that came true. It's so nice to snuggle in the bed with her... Her sweet scent...

 

Jemkanmanyo. Where had she gone to?!!!

Yoona's POV

I opened my eyes slowly as the sun began to rise. I couldn't help but smiled at the sight. Ji Yong was still soundly asleep as he wrapped his arms around me. He was all smile even when he was asleep. I guessed he must be so elated to be even smiling in his sleep. I stretched out and touched his face gently. He looked really flawless. And you know what? He is mine now. No one else's. It was like a total dream to me. I thought I would never get along with this guy. Not to mention being a couple with him. But, here I am, falling deeply in love with him. Nothing seemed to be right when I was with him, but now, with him by my side, everything seemed right, even it's not... Do you know how much I'm in love with you now, spoilt brat?

Yoona woke up earlier than Ji Yong. Seeing that the weather outside was great, she decided to step out of the resort to breathe in some fresh air and to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Hence, she got out of bed, removing Ji Yong's hands slowly from her waist, without alerting him. She washed herself up  and with the last glimpse of her sleeping fiancé, she grabbed hold of the camera and headed out to the beach.

 

Yoona took a deep breath and stretched herself as she faced the sea. The air, was indeed refreshing. Pleasant weather, pleasant place, and most importantly, a pleasant feeling. She grinned widely as she held up her camera, wanting to capture this wonderful moment.

 

 

"I'm sure that would be the prettiest photo I had ever seen~" Yoona turned around as she heard a voice.

Seung Hyun's POV

"I'm sure that would be the prettiest photo I had ever seen~" I smiled as I walked towards Yoona.

 

The sun was already up when I woke up. In the end, I didn't sleep on the bed, I decided to make do with the sofa in the room and let Fany have the bed instead. Last night was torturous. Not only did I suffered from the lack of sleep due to my oversized body for the mini sofa, I also suffered from the mental stress of sharing the same room as Fany. Every now and then, I couldn't help but took a peek at Fany and noticed that she was already fast asleep. She must be tired out. With all that preparation for her fashion show and right after which, this summer party. She still looked amazing... Just like the past. Hence, I stayed up all night, thinking about my past with Fany, and also, my feelings for Yoona. Of course, I got nothing out from there and ended up falling asleep at the early dawn. And after awhile, I was awoke by the sunlight streaming into the room. So, I figured out that I had only slept for about 2 hours? I yawned and stretched myself tiredly. I would always wake up early when I'm in this resort. To take in some fresh air in the morning to clear my mind. This had became a habit of mine already. So, getting myself ready, I stood up and was about to leave the room. Before I stepped out, I noticed that Fany was not covered with a blanket. I smiled. She was still the same old her. Kicking her blanket away in the middle of the night. I walked near to her and draped the blanket over her body. Taking a last peek at her, I smiled and left the room, leaving her in her dreamland.

 

As I was walking towards the beach, someone caught my attention. She was smiling brightly and taking a picture of herself. My lips curved up automatically as I inched closer. The girl was none other than Yoona.

"Eh? Omo! Seung Hyun Oppa!" I turned around and saw Seung Hyun Oppa standing there, his hands inside his pockets, smiling widely at me. "Why are you up so early?"

 

"I should be the one asking you this question. Waking up early has always been my habit~ But I don't think it's yours right?" He chuckled.

 

"Oppa! I'm also an early bird alrights!" I pouted.

 

"Araso araso~ Look at your face. Just like a Choding~" He laughed as he ruffled my hair. "Why are you out here alone? Why aren't you calling Ji Yong to accompany you? You could easily get lost in this place if you're not familiar with it you know."

 

"Oh. Him? Ahhh. That lazy pig is still sleeping~"

 

"Mwuh? Lazy pig? No more spoilt brat?" Omo! I had a slip of my tongue again!

 

"Eh... Hahaha! Yeahs. He is a spoit brat AND a lazy pig. There is just nothing good about him." I chuckled nervously, trying to cover up our relationship.

 

"Ahh.... Since we come to this, Yoona ah, how is your relationship with Ji Yong?"

 

"Eh? Er...." I paused for a long while, hesitating whether to break me and Ji Yong's relationship to him. Would it be too sudden? "Er... Actually, Oppa, I have something to tell you... You're the first one to know..."

"Actually.... I'm...I mean, me and Ji Yong... We're together already..." Yoona paused for a long while before she told me this.

 

"M-Mwuh? Of course you and him are together. You guys have always been together. You guys are engaged!" I chuckled nervously. What did she meant by that? They are together?

 

"Anniyo Oppa. I mean.. I mean we are really together. T.O.G.E.T.H.E.R." She took in a deep breath and tried explaining to me.

 

 

I remained silent for awhile as the truth began to sink in to me. Together. We are really together... It meant... It meant that Ji Yong had confessed his feelings for her and she had accepted it already?

 

 

"Wh..When did it happen?" I said coldly. My mind wasn't processing anymore. I was at a loss.

 

"Er... Y-Yesterday night..."

 

 

Yesterday night... So it must be because of the rescuing thing. She must be so touched by Ji Yong's act... Then... Wha-What about me? I like you too, Yoona....

 

 

"Oppa.. Oppa!" She shook my arms hard and called out worriedly.

 

"N-Neh!"

 

"Opppa gwenchana?" She looked at me, eyes filled with worries. Gosh. Please don't show me this expression, Yoona. We are not possible anymore... Please don't make my heart stop beating. "Did I scare you?"

 

"Gwenchana... Er... A little surprise I guess? Nevertheless, chukahae... I knew something would eventually happen between you two... And looks like I'm right this time round..." I smiled weakly at her.

 

 

With the last sentence, the atmosphere became awkward. Both Yoona and Seung Hyun fell silent, each struggling with their own thoughts. Finally, Yoona decided to ask the question that had been bugging her.

"Oppa, can I ask you a question?" Yoona faced the sea as she brought up the question, not daring to look Seung Hyun into the eyes.

 

"Eh?"

 

"Oppa, yesterday, Ji Yong said that you... He said that you have a feeling for me... Is...Is it true?" She took a deep breath and finally turned to face Seung Hyun.

 

"E..Eh?" Seung Hyun was taken aback by the sudden question.

 

"Chinjia? Oppa, I think I have the right to know the truth... Ji Yong told me your face was all scrunched up when you saw me drowning. Is that really true?" Yoona looked at Seung Hyun with a serious look.

 

"Actually, you know what? I don't know..." Seung Hyun sighed as he faced the sea, taking a seat on the rock.

 

"Mwuh?"

 

"Come here. Why not I tell you about this incident and you analyse it for me? Since you're so smart..." Seung Hyun pulled Yoona lightly to take a sit beside him and Yoona obliged.

It was a summer. A hot hot summer. Suitable for basking under the sun for the entire day. So, of course, Tiffany and Seung Hyun decided to spend their day together at the beach. Wonderful weather, wonderful place, wonderful partners. They were so in love back then. After lazing around in the sun for a while, Tiffany decided to cool herself down, by going into the water.

 

 

"Come on, let me accompany you~" Seung Hyun stood up, wanting to follow her.

 

"Anniyo~ It's not as if I don't know how to swim. You can just continue reading your novel while I swim. I'm just going to be away for a little while." Tiffany smiled and put her hands on Seung Hyun's shoulders, telling him to sit down.

 

"But I'm scared that my girlfriend will be kidnapped by some random guys swimming. You know how attractive she is. Always captivating people with that eyesmile of her. It's so sinful." Seung Hyun smirked.

 

"Yah! Then I shall not smile from now onwards then~" Tiffany pouted.

 

"Araso araso~ It's not your fault. It's mine alrights? I'm a selfish guy. I don't want anyone to be near my girl." Seung Hyun chuckled as he pulled Tiffany by her hand, causing her to sit on his lap as he hugged her.

 

"Chinjia. You're always that cheeky!" Tiffany broke into a smile as she hit his arms. "Come on. At most I promise I would be back in just 10 minutes ok? Am I allow to go now, Mr Choi Kwon Seung Hyun?"

 

"Hmmmm. Alrights then. Don't take too long! I'm afraid I would be taken by then. You look to your 12o'clock direction, the two women had been staring at me since we came." Seung Hyun leaned neared to Tiffany's ear and whispered to her.

 

"HA! They are just thinkling why is this guy so weird!" Tiffany stuck out her tongue at her. "Alrights! See you later~" Tiffany planted a quick kiss on Seung Hyun's cheek and ran into the water.

 

"Ahhh. Chinjia. This girl..." Seung Hyun smiled and shook his head as he watched Tiffany ran into the water.

 

 

After Tiffany reached the water, she turned and wave her hands excitedly to Seung Hyun, just like an ecstatic child. Seung Hyun smiled and waved back to her coolly. His girlfriend was that innocent. After awhile, Seung Hyun relaxed himself as he laid back down, continuing on his novel. As he read, all of a sudden, screams could be heard.

 

 

"SOMEONE IS DROWNING!!! HELP!!!" Seung Hyun immediately put down his novel and looked straight up towards the sea.

 

 

His heart froze. It couldn't be Fany. It couldn't and musn't be her! Seung Hyun thought. He found himself running towards the crowd. He pushed the crowd away, making his way towards the victim who was being rescued. He couldn't believe his eyes.

 

 

"Tiff, gwenchana? Wake up!!!" A guy had rescued her from the water and was doing CPR on her. And who was the guy? The guy was none other than Choi Siwon, Tiffany's ex-boyfriend.

 

 

After blowing air into for a few times, Tiffany began to cough out all the water she had drank and regained concious.

 

 

"Thank god you're alright!! You scare the hell out of me!!" In the midst of relief, Siwon hugged Tiffany tightly, breaking into a smile. Tiffany was in too much shock to actually reply him.

 

 

All the while, Seung Hyun just stood there in a total shock, not knowing how to response. Not only did he failed to save his girlfriend, he had to watch her being saved by other guys with his own eyes. To make the matter worse, the guy was her ex-boyfriend. The one whom she used to love so deeply. He sighed and walked away, pushing the crowd. Tiffany regained her senses and saw Seung Hyun walking away. She immediately stood up and pushed Siwon away. 

 

 

"Oppa, I'll see you later. Kamsahaminda!" Tiffany bowed and ran away, leaving Siwon behind, scratching his head in bewilderment.

"Yah. Why are you sitting downhere?" Tiffany looked around for Seung Hyun and finally found him sitting by the sea, head buried into his hand. "Mianhae... I had caused you worry again..." She smiled as she hugged him from behind.

 

 

Seung Hyun stood still as she hugged him. He frozed. He wasn't over that shock yet. A minute ago, he had the thoughts of losing her forever. And the next, she was hugging him. He was overwhelmed. That relieved feeling was beyond description. He realised that, he really loved her too deeply. And the thought of losing her was just... was just unbearable... He closed his eyes, wanting to savour this moment.

 

 

"G-Gwenchana?" Seung Hyun finally managed to spit out his words.

 

"I should be the one asking you this. Come on, look at me..." Tiffany pouted and turned Seung Hyun around, making him face her. "Gwenchana?" She touched his face gently and frowned.

 

"DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I HATED MYSELF TO SEE YOU IN DANGER AND YET THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO TO SAVE YOU?!! THE ONLY THING I COULD DO WAS JUST TO STAND THERE AND WATCHED YOU BEING SAVED. DO YOU KNOW HOW USELESS I FELT?!! HOW SCARED I WAS AT THE THOUGHT OF LOSING YOU?" Seung Hyun shouted at Tiffany, eyes full of anger and hurt. He clenched his fist hard.

 

 

Tiffany didn't said a word. She just hugged him tightly as tears began to roll down from her eyes. Seung Hyun's face was scrunched up and tears too, began to fall. It wasn't easy for him to shed tears. And this girl, just did that. She did that so easily and innocently. Seung Hyun began to calm down as he hugged Tiffany back, not wanting to let her go. He was irrevocably in love with this girl.

"When I saw you drowning and Ji Yong went to save you, I felt... I felt exactly the same way... I was upset..." I ended my story as I let her into one of my past with Tiffany.

 

 

She remained silent for awhile and suddenly, she stood up.

 

 

"Anniyo Oppa... It's different..."

After realising that Yoona wasn't in the room, Ji Yong quickly washed himself up and went out to look for her. He was afraid that she would get lost in this place. As he looked around frantically, he finally saw Yoona from the far end of the beach. And she wasn't alone. She was with Seung Hyun. Ji Yong smirked as he walked towards them slowly.

"Anniyo Oppa... It's different..."

 

"M-mwuh?" Seung Hyun Oppa was taken aback as he stood up too, looking at me with a bewildered look.

 

"Yes. You were upset. But it isn't the same feeling."

 

"I don't quite get what you mean..."

 

"Ok. Let me ask you. When you saw that I was drowning, you were really worried and shocked. Just like what happened the other time when you saw Fany Unnie drowning. Right?" 

 

"Yeahs..."

 

"But when you saw me being rescued by Ji Yong, yes you were upset. But you were relieved too rights? Deep down, you were glad that I was being saved already. No harm done. Right?" I looked up at him.

 

"Eh? I..I don't get it.. Can you perhaps, put it in a simpler way?" He furrowed his brows in an apologetic manner.

 

"Hahaha! Oppa! What I'm trying to say is that, listen to your heart.. Let your heart tell you what you really want...." I smiled as I held his hand, putting it close to his heart. "Listen to it carefully. You were more relieved than upset when I was being saved by Ji Yong.. Rights?"

I remained silent as Yoona placed her hand on top of mine, as she rested my hand on my own heart. I looked at her and she smiled at me. I closed my eyes slowly, trying to listen to my heart like what she had instructed me. Indeed, images of the past began to flood back to me. My past with Fany. Her laughters, her tears. Our love, our affection and the bits and pieces of our relationship. Then came our breakup.. I could see clearly. My tears, her frowns, our quarrels... I shuddered at those thoughts. Suddenly, images of Yoona appear. Ji Yong appear too. It showed how I would always frown when I saw Yoona being bullied or when she cried. The truth began to become clear to me. When I saw Yoona breaking into a smile, my worries were all gone
