We were returning to the dorm. Everyone was really tired, Minhyun and JR were sleeping. Minhyun with his head on JR's shoulder and JR with his head on Minhyun's head.

I suddenly remembered what I had to tell them.

"I..." I started but didn't know the words to use.

"What's wrong?" Aron asked.

"My mom will be released within two days," I told him.

"That's great!" he said.

"But," I added, "she wants me to live together with her again. In the apartment."

I looked up at his face.

He seemed to be sad, "Well, there's nothing we can do about that" he told me and smiled.

I didn't know what to say, I felt tears welling up in my eyes.

"Hey, don't cry," he said and gently wiped my tears away with his hand, "you can always come and visit us and tag along to our rehearsals, everyone has gotten used to it anyway."

I smiled, knowing it was true but still felt sad, "Everything will change" I whispered.

"That's normal," Baekho suddenly said, "everything changes. Autumn becomes winter, winter becomes spring and spring becomes summer. After that summer becomes autumn again. Seasons are constantly changing but that doesn't mean it's bad. Everything changes, it's a part of life, you have to accept it."

After Baekho's outburst it became quiet again.

"Well, those were some wise words from Dong Ho-ah" Aron commented and I started laughing.

"Thank you," I said to Baekho after I had stopped laughing, "you're right, I shouldn't be afraid of changes, I-"

But Baekho interrupted me, "I didn't say you can't be afraid of it. Being afraid is alright, everyone is afraid. But you should accept it. You should accept the changes and live with it, even though you're afraid."

"Thank you," I repeated, now fully understanding what he meant, "I'll try my best."

"There's nothing more you can do," he said with a smile.

When we arrived at the dorm, I put all my stuff in boxes so it would be ready to move when we had to. Not that I had a lot, most of it was still in the apartment. But I had some clothes, pictures and other stuff I had collected during my stay in the dorm.

Aron told the others. They were all sad but understanding. They knew this was for the best.

A few days later my mom was released from the hospital and it was time to say goodbye.

"I'll miss you!" Minhyun shouted and hugged me.

I smiled and hugged him back, "I'll miss you too!"

"You have to come and visit us a lot," Baekho said as he ruffed my hair (Minhyun refusing to let me go).

"I will!"

JR only smiled but I could see tears welling up in his eyes before he turned around.

"Minhyun, now it's my turn!" Ren complained.

"No, I'm not done yet!!" Minhyun yelled, waving his arms in my direction as Ren pulled him away.

Ren grinned while he pulled me into a hug, "We'll all miss you, especially Aron!"

"Yah!" Aron shouted.

Ren stuck out his tongue and ran away.

Aron wanted to follow him but stopped, remembering me.

He turned around and shyly looked at me, "sorry."

I smiled.

Actually I wanted to hug him too but I was afraid of the consequences so I only waved at him, "bye-bye!"

I quickly got in the taxi, afraid they'd see my expression.

It's alright, we can still see each other a lot.

Back at the apartment it felt lonely. Who knew I would miss having five incredibly noisy guys around.

"It needs a bit of cleaning but after that it'll be alright," my mother happily concluded when she saw the apartment.

I nodded.

"Well then, lets start," she said while rolling up her sleeves.

"Now?" I asked surprised.

"What are you surprised about? Would you rather live in a dusty place for a whole week and then start cleaning up? That doesn't make any sense right?"

I sighed, "Can't I first unpack my stuff?"

"What stuff? You only have a few clothes right? You can do that later."

Unhappily I agreed, "Doesn't give me any chance to adapt" I mumbled.

Unfortunately she heard me, "What are you, a chameleon? Come on, hurry up!"

A few days later we had my dad's funeral. There weren't' any family members except for us two. We didn't have much family to begin with and the family we did have never really had any contact with us. We did invite them but I guess they didn't want to come to Korea for a 'funeral of someone we don't even know that well'. So it ended up being a very small. Not that I minded, this was way better than having it with someone who doesn't even care about the fact that he died.

Nu'est visited for a short time but had to quickly leave because of their busy schedule so we didn't really have time to talk. We didn't talk before either. Mom and I were to busy organizing the funeral. I really missed their support. They had come to be like a second family to me. It felt really lonely without them here.

"Ever since the car accident, did you contacted your friends?" my mother suddenly asked after the funeral.

It has been really rough on her but she kept on showing a strong expression. Not allowing me to worry about her.

I shook my head, "To be honest, I'm a bit afraid of what they'll say" I admitted.

She nodded understandingly, "You don't have to rush but they must be worried, they haven't heard anything from you for more than a month."

I paused, "Yeah, but I don't know what to tell them," I eventually said, feeling hopeless.

"You can tell them..." mom hesitated, "you can tell them we're coming back soon."
