Suddenly the manager came running in. He had a shocked expression and was completely out of breath.

"Manager, what's wrong?" Dong Ho asked.

The manager shook his head. I could see tears welling up in his eyes, “Aron and that girl, Niina... they ...”

Minki ran to the manager and grabbed him by his shoulders, “What happened to them?” he almost yelled.

Jong Hyun grabbed Minki's shoulder, “Calm down,” he said as he pulled Minki away, “don't panic and first listen to what he has to say.”

Minki calmed a bit down but he still seemed anxious.

“What happened to them?” Dong Ho asked again.

The manager took a deep breath, “They're, ... they're in the hospital. They got in a car accident and right now they're undergoing surgery,” the manager told us at last.

We all rushed to the hospital, not being able to believe it.

When we arrived at the hospital we questioned a doctor. He told us the surgery went well but it wasn't sure if they would survive. Tonight was critical.

I felt my legs shaking and I would have fallen but luckily Jong Hyun was there to keep me standing.

I thanked him with a smile, then I asked the doctor: “Is it possible to see them?”

I noticed my voice was shaking.

The doctor nodded, “I'll bring you to their room but you can only stay there for a short amount of time.”

There they were. They looked like they were sleeping peacefully

I started crying.

Jong Hyun patted my back, trying to comfort me but he also had tears in his eyes.

I noticed Minki slowly walking to their beds. He was crying too.

Then he sank to the ground, “I'm sorry, I'm sorry!” he kept repeating, “It's all my fault, I'm sorry!”

We all stood there. Not being able to do anything but cry.

Eventually a nurse came in and asked us to leave. Dong Ho pulled Minki up and we all left the hospital.

The manager managed to clear our schedule for today. We wouldn't be able to concentrate anyway.

Minki kept on crying all day until he fell asleep on Dong Ho's shoulder. Dong Ho had been staying next to him all day, trying to support him.

After Minki fell asleep Dong Ho came to Jong Hyun and me, “Do you two have any idea what happened?” he asked, “The whole time, Minki-ah has been saying it's all his fault...”

We both shook our head, neither of us knew.

We all stayed quiet, not knowing what to say, all thinking bout Aron and Niina.

I suddenly remembered something, “This morning I suddenly found a necklace on my nightstand. One I've never seen before,” I told them.

Jong Hyun nodded “Me too.”

We both looked at Dong Ho but he shook his head, “I didn't find anything,” he said.

Jong Hyun and I both looked at each other. We smiled and went to Dong Ho's room. After turning it upsidedown, we found a small, delicate-looking bracelet.

We returned to Dong Ho who still didn't understand what was going on. We showed him the bracelet.

He looked at us and said, “This isn't mine.”

Jong Hyun and I both laughed because of his cluelessness.

“It's a gift, you idiot,” Jong Hyun said, “and judging on how Niina was acting yesterday, it was probably hers”.

“Oooh,” Dong Ho said.

We all turned quiet again, thinking about those two.

I turned to Jong Hyun with tears in my eyes, “Jong Hyun-hyung, can we sleep together tonight? I don't think I'll be able to if I'm alone.”

He nodded his head.

I faintly smiled, “Thank you.”

The next day we rushed to the hospital as soon as possible. We went to their room's and met the doctor there. But none of us was able to ask how they were, afraid of the answer we might get.

The doctor smiled reassuringly, “They'll both make it,” he said.

I felt my tears reappearing but this time because of relief.

“They'll be alright?” Minki asked. I could see he too was close to tears.

The doctor nodded, “They'll be alright,” he said.

That was all I needed to burst out in tears.

It's alright, they'll survive. It's alright!
